Location was next to billiards place, several restaurants a couple mins south of hotel. Rooms were clean with modern feel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was good. Pool was a bit cold but expected this time of year. Good location and tucked away so hotel didn't feel crowded. Never waited to be helped.

everyone was nice to us, the hotel was clean and it had all you needed. The bar, workout room, pool, screen TVs and breakfast at a low price. I would go back, when i go back to corpus. The location was good as well the freeway was near and many stores and places to eat.

My mom and I didnt get to check in until almost midnight, but the staffstaff was still bvery polite and kind. Finding the hotel was a little difficult because the entrance is way off the main highway. The room was super nice, the only bad thing was it only had one mirror. My only complaint is that the hotel REALLY needs to purchase new sheets. Their sheets and towels need to be donated and they need new linens. The sheets and towels are so old and thin and thread baron. Other than that, my stay was fine. I am looking to book the Hilton Garden Inn next time due to the condition of the linens. The room appoinments are nice - granite counters, flat screen TVs and refrigerator in every room. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room we were in though, 138, could benefit from some additional attention - a dip in the mattress, defrosting the freezer compartment in the fridge, an unusual pink something in a corner of the ceiling in the […] bathroom (unpainted drywall gap filler or gum?). However, nothing that warranted going back to ask to be moved to a different room. We were visiting our families for Thanksgiving, so didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We stayed in December and were very impressed. This last trip the hotel was crowded with pre-teen cheer competition participants and their families. Buffet was packed, no newspapers, hotel was not quite as clean (but still decent). Staff was courteous and helpful and went the extra mile when they had the time to do so.

Great hotel close to everything. No not a walking distance from the beach. Very clean, very nice people. Although they did run out of blankets, coffee and no one ever showed up to work at the bar so that was closed. It was a great stay however.

I expect at least basic service from a Marriot hotel: service was strange and inadequate. There was no coffee on the second morning, and when we asked for it, we got coffee, but no sugar. The dirty coffee cups from our first day were left and not replaced. There wasn't a quilt or a set of sheets for the pull out bed; just a blanket. When we arrived the clerk at the front desk was rude and condescending. The first night the AC shut off twice. I got up and reset it. The AC unit was also located behind a desk, poor ventilation. They did bring a fan to the room, that helped. The mattress pad and sheets didn't fit and therefore balled up and made for a sleepless night. The sheets were […] torn, maybe that's why they didn't fit properly. Second day, maid left note on bed, " we are out of towels, bring more later". I had to ask for more towels. Ordered 1 double bloody mary $15.50 in an 8oz glass. There was no ice on any levels of the hotel. I'm usually not one to complain but the girl at the front desk lit my fuse with her greeting. We booked for 4 adults . When we book this the room on the web. It shows & listed a king size bed & a sofa bed. However, when we got there, there was no sofa bed, so some of us slept on the floor. They even put us in a handicap room. The hot tub wasn't hot & it was dirty.

The room was very clean, comfortable. The building looks new or newly remodeled. The staff was courteous and helpful. One slight minus - the location is hard to find - it's off the road a bit and behind the Embassy Suites. Definitely recommend though.

The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the hotel was located on a little street off the major access road. But it was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The major needs were met, and I felt very safe here. For the price this was a great value.
