Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown rests amid the business and entertainment districts and is next to the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola; Philips Arena is also nearby. Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Dome, and CNN Center are within about 2 blocks. A MARTA rapid-transit station is 3 blocks away.
Hotel Features.
The smoke-free Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown has an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and an outdoor pool with a spa tub and snack cabana. Legal Sea Foods, a branch of the popular Boston restaurant, provides a free cup of chowder to hotel guests who present their room key; this eatery also includes a bar. Evening room service is available. The City View Room, which provides views of Atlanta’s skyline, serves a hot and cold breakfast buffet (surcharge) daily. The business center and Pavilion Pantry convenience mart are open 24 hours a day. Featuring multilingual staff and concierge services, the hotel provides tours/ticket assistance, luggage storage, and 12 conference rooms, which total 9,000 square feet of meeting space. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout public areas of the hotel, which received total property renovations in March 2008.
Secure, onsite parking includes valet services and garage parking; parking height restrictions may apply. Fines are enforced for violations of the property’s smoke-free policy.
Guestrooms.
Air-conditioned guestrooms feature city views and signature bedding/mattresses (hypo-allergenic bedding available). Private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries. All rooms have 32-inch, LCD high-definition TVs with premium channels and ESPN/HBO. Guests have multi-line speakerphones, iPod docking stations, and video-game consoles. There is complimentary wireless Internet access, and remote printing from guestrooms to the business center is complimentary. Guestrooms also include coffee/tea makers, compact refrigerators, and microwaves. Desks come with ergonomic chairs. Clock radios have connectors for MP3 players. Daily housekeeping is available as well as turndown service (upon request). Connecting rooms and rollaway beds are available. All guestrooms are smoke-free.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely courteous. Our room was not the one I had booked online. I booked a 2 bdrm suite and we were given a 1 bdrm suite. The staff was able to move us to the correct room. However, we had to pay an additional $20 for the upgrade. The staff apologized for the problem and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and had a large variety of items.

"Very polite and professional"
I have been at many hotels and this one is by far one of the best. Thank you. I do want to say that it is ridiculuous to pay for parking when you charge for hotel stay.

Terrific overall experience! Staff was wonderful. Facility is very clean and convenient. Valet parking had great service: cost was $26.00 per day which is typical of downtown Atlanta hotels.

There was not a bar in the hotel & front desk said to go to attached bar, however, u can't brink drinks up to your room. So I called room serice n paid $40 for a drink & 2 beers & had to wait 25min. What a beginning. People made a mess in hallways & it stayed there. It did not deserve its rating & did not feel like a hilton. Great location if visiting the next door aquarium or World of Coke. Very kid friendly. Indoor-outdoor pool, and whirlpool. I think my kids may have liked that more than the aquarium. It was a nice hotel but not far from rough areas so stay close to the hotel and it cost 26.00 dollars a day to park in secured valet area or you can pay 20.00 dollars a day to park in public parking

The hotel is so convenient to the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coke, as well as the Olympic Centennial Park. There are also many eating places within walking distance. We loved the location and the hotel itself!

Newspapers in the morning. Legal Seafoods and Johnny Rockets on-site. Parking is a little expensive but for the convenience it's good. Microwave and fridge in room. Cons: AIr-conditioning unit was very loud

Steps from Aquarium and minutes from anything else- Wonderful staff- very helpful. Parking (which was not included in rate) was a little expensive but so is most parking in the area (fyi: valet was just a few dollars more and worth it). "Perfect visit to Downtown Atlanta"
I loved my stay at this hotel! I was just in town to run the marathon and it was PERFECT. We were close to the expo @ Congress Center, many sites and restaurants. I think it was in a perfect location if you were coming to see the main attractions of downtown Atlanta. I am planning on coming back to visit the aquarium in 6 months and I am making plans […] to book another nice at this hotel. Staff was kind and friendly. We used the valet service and it was wonderful! Our room was clean, the beds slept well and we were pleased with the pool area. The hotel stay was FANTASTIC! Easy walking distance to Philips Arena & Georgia Dome. Beds were firm and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. We also ate at Legal Seafood on the second floor of the hotel. Food was very good and very convenient since it was in the hotel. The room was a little small and plain in decor for the price. The room had an awfully strong bleach smell as soon as you opened the door. You have to pay at min. $20 (26 vallet) every day to park in addition to the price of the hotel. Overall, I will stay some place different my next trip.

The hotel meet my families expectations. It is a short walk to the Georgia Dome. We were also within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium and Coca-Cola museum (right across the street). The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was not cheap price wise , but it was worth the money for location and comfort. Would stay there again.

I had an enjoyable time at the hotel. The hotel was very family friendly. Although would have liked it if they had room service for breakfast as it would have been easier with two children then the buffet breakfast they offered. The service was great but there was a leak in the bathroom so we had to change rooms. The staff was helpful in helping us […] move but they did not offer compensate me in any way for the fact that I had to pack myself and my two children to move. After I spoke with them about it, they did give me a $50 certificate for a local restaurant but the room I moved into did not have the same big bathtub the other room had so in effect my room was downgraded. I celebrated my birthday here, and the staff found out. 20 min. after checking into my room, I heard a knock at my door. It was one of the girls at the front desk and she had brought me a special birthday gift in a birthday bag- tons of yummy goodies from the snack shop and a couple of little toys for my 3 year old. The overall rating for this hotel is great...the only two things I didn't quite like but it was tolerable...was having to pay for parking and the buffet breakfast which I thought would be complimentary but other than that everything was good.

Very nice non-smoking hotel. Enjoyed it very much. Heated outdoor pool and indoor pool was liked by my toddler tremendously. Will recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Don't drive to the ATL to say at this hotel"
The hotel was the perfect example of mediocre. The room was very nice, but the location was inconvenient for those with cars. When you pull up you aren't given the option to not have valet park your car, and some of us don't want that. Also it was twenty dollars to park, per day which is not mentioned to you anywhere at the hotel. Upon check in someone […] who spoke broken english was having trouble communicating (surprise surprise) and her fellow employee provided no assistance and let her struggle through the ordeal. There was also a charge on my credit card that no one mentioned to me, or could have mentioned to me because, remember, I couldn't understand the language babbled to me across the counter at check in. Although this was removed when I discovered it two days after I got home. Over all if you're a traveler shuttled here from the airport I'm sure it will be lovely, other than that it was not worth the hassle to be across the street from the aquarium. Read more

"Great anniversary stay !"
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary but it was during the week (on a thurs) so we decided to drop off the kids and head to the city ! This was our first choice mainly because of location and the fact that the room had a whirlpool pretty much beside the bed! We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary weekend - Atlantic station for a movie, nice restaurant […] for dinner, great channels to watch while relaxing in the whirlpool this hotel has plenty to offer - we'd definitely stay again ! The hotel restaurant is yummy if you don't feel like venturing too far the spa is very relaxing , although we opted for that only once since we had the whirlpool :-) , the view is great and the amenities are wonderful ! Everything is very clean (which I'm a stickler about) I normally take my own blanket and pillow for hygienic reasons but for the first time I didn't need to use it ! The staff is amazing ! From the walk through the front door to the call for something you need and more they greeted with nothing but smiles and thank you's etc. there very prompt and strive to serve their guests. The adjustable comfort bed is excellent - I have back problems and just put it this way I slept through the night and woke refreshed , which never happens in a hotel bed ! The valet parking team also strives to please we never waited more than 2 minutes for our car and the valet always opened my door which being raised in the south that is apart of being a gentleman. The Hotel was very nice and comfy. Located Downtown, next door to the GA Aquirium and Coca-Cola Museum. Within walking distance the GA Dome, Highlight Factory, CNN Building, etc. Nice place to stay. Beware of the daily $20 parking fee. $26 if you choose to valet.

Very nice hotel. The staff was very polite and attentive. Front desk attendant put us on 9th floor, city view. Absolutely wonderful view of the city!!! It was very nice to be so close to Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, and world of Coke! The only downside to all of it was there was some puke like substance on a blue bed pillow hair in tue bathroom! […] Very disgusting, but I won't let that ruin my first visit there. I just would like to think it was an oversight and based on the condition of everything else, it probably won't happen again. I recommend this hotel and if I return I will stay again. Read more

We loved this hotel! I thought it was really nice for the price we paid. Inexpensive, yet five star quality. The room was really nice/clean. Everyone was really nice and very helpful. I will definitely stay in this hotel again and will recommend it to anyone.
