Nice, quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Having a small kitchen was so much better than just having a hotel room. The pool was lovely, although it was too cold for us to think of going in! The only thing to note on the negative side is that we found it very hard to get a decent wireless internet connection on our computer in the room, […] although it seemed to work ok on the balcony. Eveleos Country House in Tochni, Cyprus, was a very pleasant little gem tucked away in an unbusy little village. If you're looking for full service hotel luxury then this probably isn't for you. If you want wild nightlife and a tourist Mecca seaside then keep on looking. If you want to while away the hours and days at your own pace and have coffee out […] on your own patio in a picturesque location ... come to Eveleos Country House. The room we stayed in was a "one bedroom apartment" which had its own kitchen. This was very convenient since the town of Tochni is very small and has limited opportunities for eating out whenever you want to. The bed was a bit firm for our liking, but we got used to it. The staff was very accommodating, helpful, and cheerful. The village of Tochni is perfectly located for exploring Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, or the Troodos Mountains on a day trip. Be careful in the narrow twisting mountain roads ... and keep to the LEFT! We loved visiting the many small churches which are on the UNESCO heritage list. The beach areas are typical tourist traps but it isn't really "pushy" as some resorts can be. We fully recommend Eveleos Country House and can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it. (And it has it's own swimming pool to cool off and relax in after a day exploring.) Read more

We stayed here in the first week of 2012. We enjoyed breakfasts on a sunny balcony with a view on the sea (5 km further away). The place was difficult to find but the gentleman of the local minimarket was very helpful. We appreciated to find bread, eggs and a bolttle of wine in our little and efficient kitchen. Not many tourists in Tochni at this time […] of the year. It's about a half hour drive from Larnaca airport and in a central position on Cyprus to visit the highlights of this island. Additional towels for the swimming pool were present. Bring some winter sweathers with you since the winter evenings appeared to be rather cold. Read more

Das Eveleos Country House liegt in wunderschöner, ruhiger Umgebung im idyllischen Dorf Tochnii. Partygänger werden hier sicher nicht auf ihre Kosten kommen, für jeden, der es im Urlaub gerne ruhig und entspannend hat, ist das Eveleos Country House jedoch ideal. In den gut ausgestatteten Zimmern sind bei der Anreise Grundnahrungsmittel (Butter, Brot, […] Marmelade, Eier) vorhanden, ansonsten ist Selbstversorgung angesagt. Dies ist jedoch aufgrund eines in unmittelbarer Nähe befindlichen Ladens unproblematisch möglich. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, ein Hausmädchen befindet sich tagsüber in der Anlage und steht immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ein Mietwagen ist in Zypern ganz allgemein und im Speziellen bzgl. dieses Hotels dringend erforderlich. Sofern man dann mobil ist, sind sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten, Städte und Strände des Südteils von Zypern aufgrund der Nähe zur Autobahn bequem und stressfrei zu erreichen. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit schönem Pool, das ich unbedingt weiterempfehle. Read more

Perfect. I could not find the reception (maybe it was just me). There was a lovely welcome letter and their phone number. There was no need to call as everything was in order. The internet was fast and the room was quite. I would have loved to stay for a week or 2 but I had to get back to work.

Das Eveleos Country House eignet sich für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen. Der Ort Tochni besitzt Tavernen und einen kleinen Lebensmittelmarkt für das Notwendigste. Jedoch sind in der näheren Autoumgebung ca. 10 Minuten größere Märkte erreichbar. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett, sprechen auch deutsch. Die Übergabe der Ferienwohnung hat reibungslos geklappt. […] Auch ist bei späten Ankünften am Abend schon für das 1. Frühstück vorgesorgt. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt erforderlich. Dann ist Tochni jedoch ein idealer Standort für die verschiedensten Ausflüge. Zu schönen Stränden muss man jedoch länger fahren. Wir waren im Mai dort. Idealer Zeitraum auch für Wanderungen. Sfeervol kleinschalig complex in slaperig dorpje. goed verzorgde (redelijk complete) appartementen. Op balkon of terras geen privacy (vaak gemeenschappelijk). In het dorp is 1 winkel, in nabijgelegen Skarinou grote supermarkt. Gunstige ligging t.o.v. bezienswaardigheden, auto noodzakelijk.

sehr gemütlich und ruhig. Alles in allem perfekt. Nur zum Meer könnte es etwas näher sein. Die schönen Strände sind doch mit einer längeren Fahrt verbunden. Super für alle die in keine Hotelhochburg landen wollen. Wir haben nämlich diese gesehen (Agia Napa, Pafos...)und waren sehr froh im Eveleos Country House zu sein!
