There is nothing else to you can say but by far the best hotel I have stayed in, in Tokyo thus far! Top notch service, staff and amenities! If your an Amex holder I would say this hotel qualifies as an FHR (Fine Hotels & Resorts) Property!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent hotel, with wonderful staff and service. Clean and luxurious rooms and bathroom...loved the location. Wonderful breakfast, very nice spread. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ginza Matsui Garden"
Overall in a Great location. Many things to do around the hotel. Staff is very help full and will help. Rooms are nice and have good views. Only thing is rooms are small but basically all are like that in Tokyo so no biggie. But an overall Great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel for anyone!"
Had nice views of the Ginza area. From the get go it is also very modern and nice. The staff are very friendly and will help you from the get go. The restaurant is also very delicious. So overall was a great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was great. The room was small but clean. I went there alone and felt quite enough for me. It was near to the shinbashi station The staffs are super nice, however not all of them speak English. Other than that everything was good for me. I think I will stay with them next time go to Japan.Genuine Expedia guest review
My husband and I stayed here for one night and liked it alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The room is pretty small (bathroom and shower are decent size though) but it wasn't an issue. The hotel and room have a modern feel and the view was spectacular especially of Tokyo Tower (the hotel starts on the 16th floor). Only […] downsides were the small room, the fact that the cab driver had trouble finding it (so bring the address and phone number with you) and no room service (that we saw anyway). Had free wired internet connection. Good restaurant/bar on the lobby level. Hotel is close to Ginza and lots of shops and eateries around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
good location, nice views, room was smaller than most but bathroom larger, short walk to subwayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Centrally-Located, Polite Staff, Comfortable Rooms"
I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel seems to be popular with mostly Japanese tourists and business people but the staff does speak enough English to get by very well. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the Ginza District with all its high-end stores and variety of restaurants. The standard single room I had was comfortable […] and a good value. The only wish I had was that the breakfast buffet be more varied (same stuff served every morning). "Great views, great stay"
We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled […] with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is amazing! Fantastic location with a superb view of Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Shimbashi Station. Beautifully appointed. My only criticism is that the hotel bar was ridiculously overpriced with not very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Combination of modern amenities and Japanese style"
We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"easy to find"
very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff […] spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great views, very comfortable"
The views are the thing. From the lobby to the room views. Everything makes sense here. Rooms are very compact but functional. Great bathroom and view from shower. Beds comfortable. Quiet and understated entrance, spectacular lobby thanks to the views. Very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Superb hotel in Tokyo Ginza neighborhood"
This is a beautiful hotel located on the high floors of a building tower on the edge of the Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. It is less than 5 min walk from Ginza main street, and within walking distance to Ginza, Shiodome and Shimbashi subway stations. Rooms are modernly decorated and offer grand views of the city. Our bathroom offered both a bathtub and […] an italian style shower with a window to the room that allowed to see the city from the shower. The hotel has a beautiful bar lounge with grand views and an excellent menu for breakfast of dinner. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Boutique Hotel"
The room is spacious by Tokyo standard, and well-arranged. Lobby is at 16th floor and rooms are higher, with nice city or even partial bay view. About 5 min. walk to Shinbashi station and right in the heart of Ginza area. Amenities provided are upscale as well. Happy with my stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
銀座という立地なら価格は少し高めでもしょうがないですね。でも部屋も清潔で、快適でした。機会があればまた泊まりたいです。Genuine Expedia guest review
Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very good hotel in very good location"
04/23/15 Pekka B Espoo
Location is very good - about 200m from Ginza, which is the main shopping street in Tokyo. Check-in starts 15:00. Lobby is in 16th floor. Let hotel know if you need your room earlier. My room (single) was quite small, but it was well equipped (minibar, charger for usb, micro usb, iphone etc.). Room was modern and clean. View from the big window was open with no other high buildings nearby - view from 22nd floor was really good! Breakfast was very good with lot of variety. Taxi stand was next hotel and it took only 10 minutes to walk to train station. Transportation to Narita every hour. There is also a nice park some five minutes from hotel. I will stay in Mitsui next time too!
"Nice hotel, great view"

I like the fact that everything in the hotel was relatively new. I wouldn't say it's particularly family friendly (restaurants downstairs don't cater for young children) and the rooms are quite small for sharing, but it's not a bad base to holiday in Tokyo. I would have liked it to be closer to the stations however. Didn't bother with the breakfast buffet as it's pretty expensive, we just bought food from the nearby convenience store instead. Great restaurants within walking distance though, and concierge was helpful in getting us reservations and recommendations.
"Great location and amazing views"
04/20/15 Tom B Scunthorpe, United Kingdom
A great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and views looking out over central Tokyo. We stayed here for 2 nights on the start of our tour of Japan and it was a great introduction to Tokyo. Close to the Ginza main shopping area and also within a short walk (15mins) from the Imperial Palace. The room was a little on the small side but nothing different to any other hotel I stayed in over the 2 week - we stayed on 17th Floor and had spectacular views looking out of the floor the ceiling window in the room. Also really enjoyed the 'see the view' button in the bathroom which flipped the previously clouded up window into a clear one, allowing you to see the whole ofthe view from the bathroom if you so wished Breakfast was included in our stay and was more than acceptable, with japanese, english, fresh fruits and cakes etc. I would definately stay here again
"Clean and efficient hotel but extremely small rooms and average service"
04/19/15 grimstadm Paris, France
We stayed at this hotel 3 nights for our first trip to Tokyo. Overall, not worth the money (we paid around 300 euros/night without breakfast), but I've seen it's sometimes on offer for under 200euros, which would be ok. Rooms are so small we had to call the reception upon arrival to check that we really got a deluxe room... So small you can barely open your suitcase. Can't even imagine the size of the standard room... Bathroom however is good and well-equipped, but bedding and linen are below average for 4-star hotels. All over probably ok for a business trip, and otherwise quite good location for visiting Tokyo, but you shouldn't pay more than 200 euros.
"Good location great views"
04/17/15 Geo-Cyp1978 Nicosia, Cyprus
Overall great location between two MTR stations. Very clean, very good dinner, breakfast average. Very helpful staff. 5 min walk from fish market. Got an upgraded room and still very small. If you don't like tight spaces then this is definitely not for you. Overall would recommend and definitely stay there again. Toto toilets full automatic and central console for a smart room.
"Nice place / very central"
04/12/15 Grandmaster82 Dubai, United Arab Emirates
If you want to be very close to the heart of Ginza then you should consider staying here. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is maintained very, very well. You would feel it is a very new hotel or very recently renovated but that is not the case and you definitely can't tell. I was not impressed with the room sizes but when doing research for hotels in Tokyo it seems most / if not all hotels have these tiny rooms which you can barely fit. If you have a lot of luggage or need closet space to enjoy your holidays you should consider other options as I had to live out of my suitcase for the 8 nights I was there.
"Not bad "
04/12/15 Melina B Dubai, United Arab Emirates
We had to stay one night in a different place so we walked in the Mitsui garden Ginza and got the last double room ( smoking ) although we are not smokers . The hotel is located just one road behind the main ginza street . Reception is in high floor . Modern design in earth colours with a restaurant and big lobby place . Full glass walls with impressive Tokyo view . While walking to our room , in the corridor was a strong cigarette smell but fortunately not in the room. The room space is small . I can say around 3m by 3m. With small double bed but enough for two people . Small bathroom in white colour and clean . Nice modern decoration of the room . There was no wardrobe in the room but just a very small opening for 2-3 hangers . Overall the hotel is good but a bit overpriced for the size of it .
"A brand new hotel in a super convenient area of Ginza"
04/11/15 Chuzaa Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
This is a medium sized hotel opened in December 2014 in the very central district of the world famous Ginza. One of the entrances/exits of the Higashi Ginza Subway station leads directly to this hotel entrance. Otherwise, it will be about ten minutes by taxi from JR Tokyo station (about JPY1,300) or a 15 minute walk from JR Yurakucho Station. Hotel rooms are small (roughly 20 square meters) by the North American standard, but probably quite fine by the Japanese or the European standard for the location and the price range. The rooms are equipped with hot pot, small fridge, air purifier and a large flat TV set (my room had 42” TV set) with BBC International. I didn’t find MSNBC or CNN. There were a Korean and a CCCTV channels and the rest were all in Japanese. The bathroom and the toilet are separate. The bath tub is deeper than the typical North American bath tub, but not quite as long. The shower is available right outside the bath tub, so one can use the bathroom in North American way or in the Japanese way. WiFi worked flawlessly with password. I didn’t use their restaurant facility so I cannot comment on it. In the immediate neighbourhood, there are many restaurants of all kinds, some are priced very reasonably, and many are super fancy. To sushi lovers, the Tsukiji district with full of sushi restaurants are about ten minutes on foot to the east from the hotel. The famous Kabuki Theatre is in the immediate neighbourhod. With a large number of tourists flooding Japan these days, the cost of accommodation is climbing up sharply. This hotel is brand new and its pricing is certainly set to lead the trend.
"Outstanding urban chic hotel in convenient Ginza location"
04/11/15 sodesa Bandar Seri Begawan
I would have rated this Hotel excellent, if not for the overly small and compact rooms. The uber chic Lobby with stunning city views is a stand out. The front desk staff are also very helpful. If only the well appointed and functional rooms were slightly bigger. Also, surprising that the TV remote control is totally in Japanese; so it takes a while to access the English channel. friendly, good ginza location close to metros. like most of Tokyo hotels, small rooms! close to the luxury brand shops, and walking distance from the Tsukji market. i find ginza too posh and I wouldn´t stay there again because of the surrondings not the hptel
