It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent hotel, with wonderful staff and service. Clean and luxurious rooms and bathroom...loved the location. Wonderful breakfast, very nice spread. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ginza Matsui Garden"
Overall in a Great location. Many things to do around the hotel. Staff is very help full and will help. Rooms are nice and have good views. Only thing is rooms are small but basically all are like that in Tokyo so no biggie. But an overall Great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel for anyone!"
Had nice views of the Ginza area. From the get go it is also very modern and nice. The staff are very friendly and will help you from the get go. The restaurant is also very delicious. So overall was a great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was great. The room was small but clean. I went there alone and felt quite enough for me. It was near to the shinbashi station The staffs are super nice, however not all of them speak English. Other than that everything was good for me. I think I will stay with them next time go to Japan.Genuine Expedia guest review
My husband and I stayed here for one night and liked it alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The room is pretty small (bathroom and shower are decent size though) but it wasn't an issue. The hotel and room have a modern feel and the view was spectacular especially of Tokyo Tower (the hotel starts on the 16th floor). Only […] downsides were the small room, the fact that the cab driver had trouble finding it (so bring the address and phone number with you) and no room service (that we saw anyway). Had free wired internet connection. Good restaurant/bar on the lobby level. Hotel is close to Ginza and lots of shops and eateries around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Centrally-Located, Polite Staff, Comfortable Rooms"
I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel seems to be popular with mostly Japanese tourists and business people but the staff does speak enough English to get by very well. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the Ginza District with all its high-end stores and variety of restaurants. The standard single room I had was comfortable […] and a good value. The only wish I had was that the breakfast buffet be more varied (same stuff served every morning). Great location, really nice hotel, EXCELLENT shower. Rooms are a little bit small for the money, but i've heard that is true of all hotels in Tokyo. Breakfast was good but the same everyday which got a little boring. Staff were amazingly helpful and their English was really good. All in all, great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel in perfect location"
A designer hotel with superb service. The location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions, the Ginza subway station usually serving as the starting point. The Tokyo railway station with shinkansen is just one stop away. Also, the Ginza district is ideal for restaurants and shopping. Excellent buffet breakfast, and in the evening the restaurant (which […] has a superb view on Tokyo and the Sumida river) serves imaginative fusion cusine. Our room, though smallish (that's Tokyo, so no surprise here) had a fabulous view and was very stylish. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our next stay in Tokyo will be definitely The Mitsui Garden Hotel in Ginza. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Wonderful hotel in a great location in the Ginza. Rooms were excellent with large windows with great views, very clean, very modern.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great views, great stay"
We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled […] with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is amazing! Fantastic location with a superb view of Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Shimbashi Station. Beautifully appointed. My only criticism is that the hotel bar was ridiculously overpriced with not very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Combination of modern amenities and Japanese style"
We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"easy to find"
very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff […] spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great views, very comfortable"
The views are the thing. From the lobby to the room views. Everything makes sense here. Rooms are very compact but functional. Great bathroom and view from shower. Beds comfortable. Quiet and understated entrance, spectacular lobby thanks to the views. Very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One of the best hotels in the area"
This hotel has a really swanky feel to it and there is no surprise it seemed very popular with foreign and Japanese business men alike. It's a little tricky to find it from the Shinbashi train station, but you are right amongst an exciting bustle of restaurants, bars and very nearby the polished new area of shiodome, and the high end shops of ginza. […] The special frosted/defrosted glass in the bathroom is a really unique touch, so you can always take advantage of the view! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Tokyo has space at a premium, but this was a joke. the ['superior double'] room was so small that the bed was pushed up against the wall on one side. there was nowhere to put a case other than at the end of the bed so it was one big obstacle course. we stayed 1 night here then 2 at the intercontenental; only slightly more money per night but what a […] difference - big room, comfy bed and great service. I read the reviews on this site of the Ginza Premier and was looking forward to it as it actually rates higher then the intercontinental - it does not live up to its 4.8 rating at all. Do yourself a favour and book the ANA intercontinental instead Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Superb hotel in Tokyo Ginza neighborhood"
This is a beautiful hotel located on the high floors of a building tower on the edge of the Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. It is less than 5 min walk from Ginza main street, and within walking distance to Ginza, Shiodome and Shimbashi subway stations. Rooms are modernly decorated and offer grand views of the city. Our bathroom offered both a bathtub and […] an italian style shower with a window to the room that allowed to see the city from the shower. The hotel has a beautiful bar lounge with grand views and an excellent menu for breakfast of dinner. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Boutique Hotel"
The room is spacious by Tokyo standard, and well-arranged. Lobby is at 16th floor and rooms are higher, with nice city or even partial bay view. About 5 min. walk to Shinbashi station and right in the heart of Ginza area. Amenities provided are upscale as well. Happy with my stay.

Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect business hotel"
Although rooms are not spacious, the location and that the Airport Limosuine bus stops at this hotel is a benefit. I am a frequent traveller to Tokyo and stayed only one night before travelling to other area of Japan. "Très bel hôtel dans quartier très commerçant."
Superbe hôtel avec magnifique vue sur Tokyo. La réception est au 16ème étage, et les chambres jusqu'au 25ème. Chambres petites mais très propres, toujours pas de placards ou de rangements. Vue sur Tokyo depuis la salle de bains !Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel, great location"
Ginza is the place to stay when in Tokyo - elegant, packed with shops, restaurants, cafes and all other amenities. And in Ginza nothing can surpass the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Price/value is excellent, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, breakfasts are great, location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions. Add superb views on either Ginza […] or the Sumida river and the Tokyo Bay and you know why you want to stay in this hotel. The hotel boasts great design and has great atmosphere. How about a dinner in their restaurant overlooking Tokyo? Rooms are smallish, but this is Tokyo, and their rates there is no reason to complain. Our next stay in Tokyo will be in this hotel. Perfect! "Mitsui Garden mitt i Ginza kvarteren"
"Ginza Premier - loistava valinta"
Olen vieraillut Tokiossa useita kertoja. Hotelli on tyyliltään hyvin länsimainen. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Heart of Ginza"
03/17/15 Quincy R Manila, Philippines
This is walking distance from the Tsukiji Fish Market, a park and most importantly a GROCERY STORE. The rooms are very neat, clean, and large enough for two. The showers are clean, the beds are comfy... it's like heaven. It's walking distance from the Ginza shops and a train station. The Airport Shuttle provides easy access to the Haneda Airport. I'm proud to say I've stayed here.
"Brand new hotel in Ginza"
03/16/15 Poli2209 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I'm not sure where the garden comes from, since this brand new hotel in Ginza is more of the executive type. Nonetheless, it was perfect for a 4 night stay, our first time in Tokyo. The neighborhood is charming and vibrant, there are numerous restaurants and Mitsukoshi is just like a block away. There is a subway entrance literally in front of it. The hotel was opened 4 months ago, it's impeccably clean and service is superb. The standard room we got was small but outstandingly functional, so we felt very comfortable for the entire stay. Amenities are Shiseido. The powerful shower is a plus. All this for much less than you would pay in NYC. Absolutely recommended!
"Great location, towering views of Tokyo"

Small rooms but excellent service and loaction at the foot of Ginza and a short walk from many subway stations. Concierge was a bit lacking on dinner recommandations but we ended up finding something easily nearby by just poking our heads in.

We stayed here for four nights in winter and it was awesome. The views from the lobby are amazing and the restaurant looked great although we didn't try it. The hotel is so handy to the subway, restaurants, shops, the Tsukiji fish market, everything. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and as we had requested a bathroom with a view we weren't disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary mini bar which was restocked each day. The staff were very helpful and when we had a problem with our safe not working they immediately tried to rectify the situation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Great location close to Ginza, Tokyo tower and imperial palace. Views from room are amazing and view from bathtub equally cool. Bath salts, and full toiletries provided. The room is quite petite but fully equipped. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer!!
"high-end on medium-priced budget! great stay in tokyo!"
03/06/15 tcck55210 Seattle, Washington
not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but this hotel was awesome! granted it's a bit pricey, but then again, everything in ginza is expensive; it was about $220/night. but we knew we wanted to be in the area, be in a high-rise with panoramic views, and it has to be modern. this place fits the bill! service was excellent; concierge helped with anything and everything we threw at them. the area is safe, never felt weird wandering into the hotel late into the night. the rooms all start at the 17th floor, so every room has amazing views! we opted to not pay more for the room with the tub near the window as we read it just fogs up the window. so our room has an amazing large window and we slept right next to it. compared with japanese standards, the room was large enough for our needs (2 large suitcases and a duffle bag) for our 10 night stay. the bed was super comfortable and the pillows worked for my picky neck! bathroom amenities were high-end and the shower had good pressure. laundry service is crazy expensive, but so convenient. free wifi and good service throughout the hotel. the hotel is also really conveniently located between two train stations, so no matter which line you end up needing to take through ginza, you have a lot of options. the restaurant was good, we ate there our first night, and the dessert even included some gold foil, mmm decadent! :) i would totally stay here again, if our budget allowed. it's definitely a high-end hotel.
"Great value and great hotel"
03/03/15 Stu G Singapore
The hotel is right near the subway station and a wonderful area to walk around at any time of the day or night. The rooms are a good size, beautifully presented and some of the best I've seen in this price range for Ginza. The rooms were very quiet, with black-out blinds, solid doors and quiet air-conditioning. The Air-Conditioner is only in Japanese, so finding the difference between auto, cool and heat is always fun. The staff behind the front desk speak good English, although the concierge didn't seem so keen to engage in conversation. Checkin time is strictly enforced, so don't expect an early checkin, although they will happily hold your bags. The breakfast room in the lobby is well done with a nice selection of hot and cold options.

Stayed for a night in this hotel. The room was quite small but perfectly clean and neat. The location of this hotel is perfect, the hotel is near the famous Ginza shopping district where you can find wide selection of restaurants and it's also near the famous Tsukiji fish market.
"Very nice hotel!"
02/20/15 cat2x Manila, Phils
We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. Our room is the "Luxury Stay in View Bath Room" in 20th floor. Positives: + very nice location. quiet neighborhood but just a quick walk to the Ginza shopping area + near 2 Metro stations. The Shimbashi station is 500 meters away, while Ginza station is 750 meters + the lobby in the 16F is a wow factor for us. The view of Tokyo is just amazing, particularly at night. In the morning, Mt. Fuji is also visible + the room is very chic and modern. very clean. exactly what I would expect from a beautiful, modern city like Tokyo! + the bathtub with the Tokyo view is worth every Yen + there's complimentary beverage everyday (2 bottles each of water, beer, tea, and juice) Negative - very small room. our room comes with a double bed, and there's hardly any room for our (2) 26" luggage - I wish there are more hooks to hang towels you wish to re-use - there's only the standard brewed coffee at breakfast. Most hotels now have a bean to cup coffee machine with coffee options (i.e. esspreso, latte, cappuccino, mocha, etc) Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will most likely stay here again in the future
"Great Hotel in Tokyo"

Mitsui Garden Ginza offers a perfect little oasis in the middle of always busy Tokyo. The rooms are small, but cosy and perfectly organized! Walking distance to the famous Ginza shopping district, and the fantastic Tskiji fish market.
