It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Overall in a Great location. Many things to do around the hotel. Staff is very help full and will help. Rooms are nice and have good views. Only thing is rooms are small but basically all are like that in Tokyo so no biggie. But an overall Great experience.

It was great. The room was small but clean. I went there alone and felt quite enough for me. It was near to the shinbashi station The staffs are super nice, however not all of them speak English. Other than that everything was good for me. I think I will stay with them next time go to Japan.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and liked it alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The room is pretty small (bathroom and shower are decent size though) but it wasn't an issue. The hotel and room have a modern feel and the view was spectacular especially of Tokyo Tower (the hotel starts on the 16th floor). Only downsides were the small room, the fact that the cab driver had trouble finding it (so bring the address and phone number with you) and no room service (that we saw anyway). Had free wired internet connection. Good restaurant/bar on the lobby level. Hotel is close to Ginza and lots of shops and eateries around.

We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo.

This hotel is amazing! Fantastic location with a superb view of Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Shimbashi Station. Beautifully appointed. My only criticism is that the hotel bar was ridiculously overpriced with not very good service.

We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.

very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel)

This is a beautiful hotel located on the high floors of a building tower on the edge of the Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. It is less than 5 min walk from Ginza main street, and within walking distance to Ginza, Shiodome and Shimbashi subway stations. Rooms are modernly decorated and offer grand views of the city. Our bathroom offered both a bathtub and an italian style shower with a window to the room that allowed to see the city from the shower. The hotel has a beautiful bar lounge with grand views and an excellent menu for breakfast of dinner. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The room is spacious by Tokyo standard, and well-arranged. Lobby is at 16th floor and rooms are higher, with nice city or even partial bay view. About 5 min. walk to Shinbashi station and right in the heart of Ginza area. Amenities provided are upscale as well. Happy with my stay.

The most welcoming staff. Made you feel welcome and very accommodating. The corner rooms are great and the noise level is almost zero. Even though we were told there's construction going on we didn't notice. Very well located to all transport, shopping and restaurants. The rooms are great and a decent bath tub considering I'm over six feet tall. Great sized beds and extremely comfortable. Will be back to stay. Just a warning if traveling to Kyoto avoid their hotels there not as good do your research.

"Best Value with Excellent Service"
06/27/15 AustWorldTraveler Melbourne, Australia
My wife and I stayed here recently based on the high ranking on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. Location is great for people interested in exploring Ginza and also greater Tokyo, located only a short walk away from the subway. The hotel is also on the Narita Bus Schedule - giving easy access to and from the airport. The room was in excellent condition, with all the amenities that you would expect. They provided a map of where all the items are hidden due to the many hidden storage space that had been used to make the most of the small space. They also provide a second map that outlines what all the buildings that you see outside your room - which is a great little touch. There was a birthday card and present waiting in our room as the staff noticed that my wife would be having her birthday during the stay. At no point did I notify of them of this and was just a great example of the excellent personalised service that was provided. Upon checkout, they provided another gift and thank you card. We asked for numerous restaurant recommendations located nearby, both expense and casual, and none disappointed and highly recommend their expertise. It was a little odd that the main restaurant wasn't open for late night drinks, only this tiny bar which didn't have the great views. Overall, value for money was excellent and would highly recommend to anyone.

A spectacular view from the hotel rooms! The service was excellent like every where in japan. The rooms were probably the most cleanest I have ever seen! Only minus was that the room smelled a bit like somebody had smoked there even tho it was none smoking.. Well i got used to it and from what i learned was that every hotel smelled like tobacco..

Great hotel with friendly English speaking staff whom are more than willing to help with any of your needs. Location is great and the rooms are SUPER clean and beds are very comfortable. It is also within walking distance to the Fish market if you plan on visiting.

"Near Ginza"
06/25/15 zepkar
We loved this hotel. Unusually the reception is on the 16th floor and the rooms ascend from there. Staff are friendly and helpful although not all speak good English which was surprising. The room was fantastic, we were on the 23rd floor which gave a great view of the city, it was clean and absolutely large enough for the 2 of us. Included many modern conveniences and one very unusual one. The toilet was of the ultra modern Japanese type with bidet washing and heated seat. The unusual feature is that there is a window between the shower/bath and the bedroom which can be made opaque for privacy or clear for a view through the bedroom to the city through the bedroom window. The walk down Ginza to Tokyo station tales about half an hour, the local station is Shimbashi and that is only 5 minutes away. Ginza is an upscale shopping street that some say has had its day. For a more lively area it would be best to look in the Shibuya or Shinjuku areas for a hotel. The not included buffet breakfast was the best that we have had anywhere in the world. The variety was extraordinary, from scrambled eggs, salads and vegetable dishes to tiramisu and cheesecake. When next in Tokyo we would come for the breakfast even if we didn't stay in the hotel.

"Great Hotel - highly recommended"
06/24/15 FF_Traveller_123 Sydney, Australia
The hotel is new and modern with friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. The limousine bus from the airport stops just around the corner and the entrance is a bit obscure as the lobby is located on the 16th floor of a high rise. The price would be considered mid-range for Tokyo and if you choose something cheap you will most likely get a hotel that still allows smoking in the roooms or has done so for so long that the smell of stale cigarettes still lingers. The rooms are a good size (again, for Tokyo) and the staff are friendly and helpful, although everything felt quite formal. Ginza is a very expensive area with high-end fashion shops, but there is a toy store and great dining options like the sushi restaurant on the 5th floor above the toy store in the Hakuhinkan building - my son was in heaven! The Tokyo metro is the best and only way to get around and the Hibiya Line is only a couple of blocks away and the Marunouchi Line is about a 10 minute walk. These will get you pretty much anywhere in Tokyo. Ask the Information Desk for a map of the local area and the metro system and head out to see the sights and sounds of a great city.

"great hotel but slightly pricey"
06/20/15 stephaniequek singapore
I stayed one night at mitsui garden, and was given a room on the 25th floor with an amazing view over the city. The room was extremely huge for one person, I think it was about 40m². The bath room was also very spacious with separate toilet and bath area, that also had a view that overlook the city. Overall I had an amazing night at the hotel, but thought it was slightly pricey. The staff at the hotel were also very helpful. They recommended a really good unagi restaurant around the area, where I had an excellent meal.

The location is at the edge of Ginza, it took a while for the taxi driver to get there, although with the hotels map. The rooms are new and fully equipped, only very small. We were unlucky to encounter some problems upon our check in, the front office staff were quite rude - not sure if it was because of language barrier or high season.

"A decent hotel but over priced. "

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff spoke English and were helpful for most part. You get a nice view from the lobby area of Hamarikyu Gardens and Tokyo Tower. The location is convenient too, although a little hard to find. The breakfast was nice, but the selection is small. You must try the Papaya Salad! The rooms have complimentary beers and fruit juices. However, the rooms are small, the view from the rooms (I booked a premium suite which should have the best views) were very disappointing, you can't see Tokyo Tower or any famous buildings.. The shower was good but the bath attached to it was way too small for even me (I'm 5"7). For that price I could have booked a luxury Japanese inn "ryokan" and experienced more of Japanese culture.

"Cannot get enough of this hotel! Excellent!"
06/13/15 Shoegirl82 Manila
I was prepared for the tiny rooms when we arrived in Tokyo but I was very pleasantly surprised at how this hotel managed to place everything I need into such a small space. The bed was certainly not lacking in size with very well appointed bedding to boot. The bathroom, though also small came complete with a separate tub and shower area. Unlike some other 5-star hotels I've stayed in (please see another one of my recent reviews), they promptly brought up a clothes steamer when I asked, gave me extra bottles of water and also offer a killer in-room massage for a decent price. I would recommend this place to anyone!
