It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent hotel, with wonderful staff and service. Clean and luxurious rooms and bathroom...loved the location. Wonderful breakfast, very nice spread. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ginza Matsui Garden"
Overall in a Great location. Many things to do around the hotel. Staff is very help full and will help. Rooms are nice and have good views. Only thing is rooms are small but basically all are like that in Tokyo so no biggie. But an overall Great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel for anyone!"
Had nice views of the Ginza area. From the get go it is also very modern and nice. The staff are very friendly and will help you from the get go. The restaurant is also very delicious. So overall was a great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was great. The room was small but clean. I went there alone and felt quite enough for me. It was near to the shinbashi station The staffs are super nice, however not all of them speak English. Other than that everything was good for me. I think I will stay with them next time go to Japan.Genuine Expedia guest review
My husband and I stayed here for one night and liked it alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The room is pretty small (bathroom and shower are decent size though) but it wasn't an issue. The hotel and room have a modern feel and the view was spectacular especially of Tokyo Tower (the hotel starts on the 16th floor). Only […] downsides were the small room, the fact that the cab driver had trouble finding it (so bring the address and phone number with you) and no room service (that we saw anyway). Had free wired internet connection. Good restaurant/bar on the lobby level. Hotel is close to Ginza and lots of shops and eateries around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Centrally-Located, Polite Staff, Comfortable Rooms"
I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel seems to be popular with mostly Japanese tourists and business people but the staff does speak enough English to get by very well. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the Ginza District with all its high-end stores and variety of restaurants. The standard single room I had was comfortable […] and a good value. The only wish I had was that the breakfast buffet be more varied (same stuff served every morning). Great location, really nice hotel, EXCELLENT shower. Rooms are a little bit small for the money, but i've heard that is true of all hotels in Tokyo. Breakfast was good but the same everyday which got a little boring. Staff were amazingly helpful and their English was really good. All in all, great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel in perfect location"
A designer hotel with superb service. The location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions, the Ginza subway station usually serving as the starting point. The Tokyo railway station with shinkansen is just one stop away. Also, the Ginza district is ideal for restaurants and shopping. Excellent buffet breakfast, and in the evening the restaurant (which […] has a superb view on Tokyo and the Sumida river) serves imaginative fusion cusine. Our room, though smallish (that's Tokyo, so no surprise here) had a fabulous view and was very stylish. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our next stay in Tokyo will be definitely The Mitsui Garden Hotel in Ginza. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Wonderful hotel in a great location in the Ginza. Rooms were excellent with large windows with great views, very clean, very modern.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great service and location"
The hotel is very well located in the best area of Tokyo, great high end shoping and restaurant area. The hotel is very modern, great service and the room is high tech, but small as many hotels in Tokyo. The hotel starts at level 16 so a great city view is securred from your room. I would definiotively book there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great views, great stay"
We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled […] with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is amazing! Fantastic location with a superb view of Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Shimbashi Station. Beautifully appointed. My only criticism is that the hotel bar was ridiculously overpriced with not very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Combination of modern amenities and Japanese style"
We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"easy to find"
very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff […] spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great views, very comfortable"
The views are the thing. From the lobby to the room views. Everything makes sense here. Rooms are very compact but functional. Great bathroom and view from shower. Beds comfortable. Quiet and understated entrance, spectacular lobby thanks to the views. Very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One of the best hotels in the area"
This hotel has a really swanky feel to it and there is no surprise it seemed very popular with foreign and Japanese business men alike. It's a little tricky to find it from the Shinbashi train station, but you are right amongst an exciting bustle of restaurants, bars and very nearby the polished new area of shiodome, and the high end shops of ginza. […] The special frosted/defrosted glass in the bathroom is a really unique touch, so you can always take advantage of the view! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Tokyo has space at a premium, but this was a joke. the ['superior double'] room was so small that the bed was pushed up against the wall on one side. there was nowhere to put a case other than at the end of the bed so it was one big obstacle course. we stayed 1 night here then 2 at the intercontenental; only slightly more money per night but what a […] difference - big room, comfy bed and great service. I read the reviews on this site of the Ginza Premier and was looking forward to it as it actually rates higher then the intercontinental - it does not live up to its 4.8 rating at all. "Superb hotel in Tokyo Ginza neighborhood"
This is a beautiful hotel located on the high floors of a building tower on the edge of the Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. It is less than 5 min walk from Ginza main street, and within walking distance to Ginza, Shiodome and Shimbashi subway stations. Rooms are modernly decorated and offer grand views of the city. Our bathroom offered both a bathtub and […] an italian style shower with a window to the room that allowed to see the city from the shower. The hotel has a beautiful bar lounge with grand views and an excellent menu for breakfast of dinner. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Boutique Hotel"
The room is spacious by Tokyo standard, and well-arranged. Lobby is at 16th floor and rooms are higher, with nice city or even partial bay view. About 5 min. walk to Shinbashi station and right in the heart of Ginza area. Amenities provided are upscale as well. Happy with my stay.

Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Although rooms are not spacious, the location and that the Airport Limosuine bus stops at this hotel is a benefit.
"Great hotel, great location"
Ginza is the place to stay when in Tokyo - elegant, packed with shops, restaurants, cafes and all other amenities. And in Ginza nothing can surpass the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Price/value is excellent, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, breakfasts are great, location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions. Add superb views on either Ginza […] or the Sumida river and the Tokyo Bay and you know why you want to stay in this hotel. The hotel boasts great design and has great atmosphere. How about a dinner in their restaurant overlooking Tokyo? Rooms are smallish, but this is Tokyo, and their rates there is no reason to complain. Our next stay in Tokyo will be in this hotel. Perfect! "Mitsui Garden mitt i Ginza kvarteren"
"Ginza Premier - loistava valinta"
Olen vieraillut Tokiossa useita kertoja. Hotelli on tyyliltään hyvin länsimainen. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel is modern, clean and has a very good staff. The view is great and it had a good airport shuttle service.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A total rip off"
The hotel does not have ground floor lobby or doorman. Yes, this could be no matter for fluent Japanese speakers, but if you are not familiar with the language and when you need help to get a cab and give the driver the direction on where to go, you are doomed. The room is tiny, yes it's a norm in Japan but it's way too smaller than other similarly priced hotels in surrounding area. Room is clean, but you have to see too many cleaning people all day long along the corridor because hotel layout is not far with the price range. The location is not the best as well, a far end at Ginza district with nothing much near the hotel. The room has air conditioning system which would not work once you pull your card key out from the slot, but the hotel won't issue you the second key of the room and they say they it's matter of "security issue". So during the cold or hot days, you will end up with unpleasant room temperature if you leave hotel... I have never had this kind of experience over my stay at the other hotel and it was very disappointing.

We stayed here the last night before flying out of Haneda Airport to Bangkok, Thailand. The location turned out to be great. We found a nice Izakaia to get a bite to eat and then enjoyed a relaxing evening before the second half of our trip. I love taking Ofuro in the deep bath tubs in Japan; this hotel has a nice layout in the bathroom- all the amenities.
"Great location and view"

Mitsui Garden Ginza is located walking distance from shops and restaurants in Ginza, also Tsukiji fish market and Hamarikyu gardens are very close. It's 10 minutes on foot from Shinbashi train station - very easy access. Our room was on the 24th floor with a great view through a large window, you can also see Tokyo Tower and Mt. Fuji from the reception lobby. The room was very comfortable, with all amenities. The hotel has a modern design and feels very cosy when you come back after the full day of sightseeing. I would recommend it to everybody wanting to be comfortable and in nice neighbourhood.

We stayed here on the last night of our trip around Japan. Excellent location in the Ginza area. Our room was a good size with wonderful view. The bathroom was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in. Staff were polite and helpful. Would recommend to all.

i just came back from Japan , i stayed in this hotel for two nights The Hotel is located near the main street of Ginza . and all of the other shopping streets 10 min in a Taxi from Tokyo station is you would like to take the Narita Express (in and out to the airport ) Lots of restaurants around The room was very clean and nice . it was small but most of the hotels in Tokyo are like that Good TV system and audio. They have Wi-Fi in the room free. The service was excellent Very nice view.
"Nice hotel in a good location"
12/07/14 Frandy B
Staying at this hotel for 8 nights in tokyo. We chose this hotel because it is close to train station (shimbashi Metro and JR) and Ginza shopping area. Everything is good, the staffs, service, etc. The room is modern, amenities were adequate, free in room wifi. But the size of the superior double room is a bit on a small side. After a while our room were filled with shopping bags and its quite hard to manouver inside. Travelers planning to stay at a long period should consider upgrading to bigger room.
"Excellent hotel don't let the great price scare you away."
I almost did not stay here because it was so much cheaper in price then some other hotels near by. I was not disappointed and actually I think this hotel goes above and beyond my expectations. Awesome location, they have a shuttle to the airport right on the corner which was very convenient, quick and cheap. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Compared to the Hilton we stayed at in Narita at the beginning of our trip, our experience was night and day.The room is very high tech, the shower is amazing, and the views are the best. All the normal amenities and then some. They even had pajamas. Stocked complimentary mini bar. What more can I say.
"Elegant & convenient"

We were only here on our last night in Japan coming back from the Kansai region but wished we'd stayed there the 3 Tokyo days at the beginning. The location can't be beat for access to great Ginza restaurants and shopping, plus access to the subway. The hotel is on the upper floors of the building, which is excellent, because the best thing about it was the view of the city. And the fact that the bathroom is designed so you can see the view from the shower (or not - push a button to opaque the shower window). The bathroom was awesome with a nice big tub. Bed was comfy. The room in general was exactly everything we needed. The convenience of the bar/café and restaurant downstairs was awesome for a nightcap. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They made us reservations for the best meal of my life at Kyubey and were happy to keep our bags for a few hours after we checked out so we could explore a little longer before heading to the airport. Loved it.

"Excellent stay with great value for money"

We stayed at Mitsui Garden Ginza Premier for 7 nights in November 2014. Our stay was excellent on all terms. The service was impeccable and very friendly, the staff went out of their way to help us with even some more unusual requests/info we needed. The lobby was very welcoming, great views to the city, modern and sleek but still cosy. The room was very nice, we stayed at the View Bath room type. The room was not very large, as is with most hotels in Tokyo, but I would say it was larger than the standard. However, we did fit well with two cabin luggage and with one bigger suitcase. The room was modern, very neat and new and the floor-to-ceiling windows both in the room and in the bathroom quite spectacular...the views from the 19th floor where we stayed were very nice. Amenities are very good and extensive and filled every day. There are free drinks that are filled every day (water, juice, tea, beer). There is no minibar as such, but there are drink and wine glasses and a bucket for ice (that you can get free from the vending machine rooms that I think are in every floor) - I prefer this option, as you can buy the drinks you want and then enjoy them in your room. The location is also very good. The hotel is in Ginza, very near to the main shopping street and a lot of good restaurants. However, it is a bit off the main street, so it is peaceful. There are many train/metro lines available at short distance, so you can get easily to other parts of Tokyo. The Tsukiji fish market is at a waling distance, as is the wonderful Hama-rikyū Onshi Teien garden. All in all, excellent stay. Very comfortable and nice hotel, excellent service, good location. I would definitely stay here again.
