It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ginza Matsui Garden"
Overall in a Great location. Many things to do around the hotel. Staff is very help full and will help. Rooms are nice and have good views. Only thing is rooms are small but basically all are like that in Tokyo so no biggie. But an overall Great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel for anyone!"
Had nice views of the Ginza area. From the get go it is also very modern and nice. The staff are very friendly and will help you from the get go. The restaurant is also very delicious. So overall was a great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was great. The room was small but clean. I went there alone and felt quite enough for me. It was near to the shinbashi station The staffs are super nice, however not all of them speak English. Other than that everything was good for me. I think I will stay with them next time go to Japan.Genuine Expedia guest review
My husband and I stayed here for one night and liked it alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The room is pretty small (bathroom and shower are decent size though) but it wasn't an issue. The hotel and room have a modern feel and the view was spectacular especially of Tokyo Tower (the hotel starts on the 16th floor). Only […] downsides were the small room, the fact that the cab driver had trouble finding it (so bring the address and phone number with you) and no room service (that we saw anyway). Had free wired internet connection. Good restaurant/bar on the lobby level. Hotel is close to Ginza and lots of shops and eateries around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Centrally-Located, Polite Staff, Comfortable Rooms"
I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel seems to be popular with mostly Japanese tourists and business people but the staff does speak enough English to get by very well. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the Ginza District with all its high-end stores and variety of restaurants. The standard single room I had was comfortable […] and a good value. The only wish I had was that the breakfast buffet be more varied (same stuff served every morning). Great location, really nice hotel, EXCELLENT shower. Rooms are a little bit small for the money, but i've heard that is true of all hotels in Tokyo. Breakfast was good but the same everyday which got a little boring. Staff were amazingly helpful and their English was really good. All in all, great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel in perfect location"
A designer hotel with superb service. The location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions, the Ginza subway station usually serving as the starting point. The Tokyo railway station with shinkansen is just one stop away. Also, the Ginza district is ideal for restaurants and shopping. Excellent buffet breakfast, and in the evening the restaurant (which […] has a superb view on Tokyo and the Sumida river) serves imaginative fusion cusine. Our room, though smallish (that's Tokyo, so no surprise here) had a fabulous view and was very stylish. The staff is very helpful and friendly. "Great service and location"
The hotel is very well located in the best area of Tokyo, great high end shoping and restaurant area. The hotel is very modern, great service and the room is high tech, but small as many hotels in Tokyo. The hotel starts at level 16 so a great city view is securred from your room. I would definiotively book there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great views, great stay"
We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled […] with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is amazing! Fantastic location with a superb view of Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Shimbashi Station. Beautifully appointed. My only criticism is that the hotel bar was ridiculously overpriced with not very good service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Combination of modern amenities and Japanese style"
We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"easy to find"
very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff […] spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"One of the best hotels in the area"
This hotel has a really swanky feel to it and there is no surprise it seemed very popular with foreign and Japanese business men alike. It's a little tricky to find it from the Shinbashi train station, but you are right amongst an exciting bustle of restaurants, bars and very nearby the polished new area of shiodome, and the high end shops of ginza. […] The special frosted/defrosted glass in the bathroom is a really unique touch, so you can always take advantage of the view! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Tokyo has space at a premium, but this was a joke. the ['superior double'] room was so small that the bed was pushed up against the wall on one side. there was nowhere to put a case other than at the end of the bed so it was one big obstacle course. we stayed 1 night here then 2 at the intercontenental; only slightly more money per night but what a […] difference - big room, comfy bed and great service. I read the reviews on this site of the Ginza Premier and was looking forward to it as it actually rates higher then the intercontinental - it does not live up to its 4.8 rating at all. "Superb hotel in Tokyo Ginza neighborhood"
This is a beautiful hotel located on the high floors of a building tower on the edge of the Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. It is less than 5 min walk from Ginza main street, and within walking distance to Ginza, Shiodome and Shimbashi subway stations. Rooms are modernly decorated and offer grand views of the city. Our bathroom offered both a bathtub and […] an italian style shower with a window to the room that allowed to see the city from the shower.
Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Ginza is the place to stay when in Tokyo - elegant, packed with shops, restaurants, cafes and all other amenities. And in Ginza nothing can surpass the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Price/value is excellent, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, breakfasts are great, location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions. Om man inte har något större shoppingintresse och stor plånbok ligger detta hotell ganska långt ifrån intressant områden. Rekommenderar att bo vid någon annan stadsdel eller längre norrut. "Ginza Premier - loistava valinta"
Olen vieraillut Tokiossa useita kertoja. I never write reviews usually, but I wanted everyone to know this is a brilliant hotel! Prior to me booking the room I sent numerous questions to the hotel team who were really positive, helpful and informative. This gave me confidence to book up! The hotel location is excellent, a 10 minute walk to the train station and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The front of house staff were amazing, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was brilliant (small but I hear all rooms in Tokyo are small) and well equipped. The hotel team made our stay very comfortable and I would definitely book in with them again when I visit next time.
"All around excellent. Yes, the rooms are small but they're comfortable"

From check-in to check-out and beyond (we left our bags and returned to catch the airport limo coach later in the afternoon on our last day) the staff were friendly, efficient and charming. We booked through a Japanese booking site Jalan which didn't require any deposit ahead of our check-in. The pricing was in Yen, which was not a problem at all for we US visitors. The cost was exactly as per our reservation at Y64,600 (around US$565) for three very pleasant nights. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was fine. It took me a while to figure that the touch screen controller on the nightstand had an English selection option and controlled everything in the room (lights, a/c etc.). Certainly the room was small. The bed was too close to the window to allow exit at that side. We managed. And the room was quiet. We slept really well. The view from this 22nd floor room over the Ginza neighborhood was spectacular. The dining room served very good dinners and an excellent buffet lunch. The staff helped me print our boarding passes on their printer in the lobby and arranged our airport limo coach reservations. It would be hard to find fault with this hotel or its staff. An all around pleasant and relaxed experience Highly recommend this hotel.
"Fantastic! Great Location"
Great hotel, great location, great view, around the corner from Ginza shopping and 5 min walk from JR Shimbashi Station. Room is in the smaller side but perfectly acceptable and I should note that we stayed in a triple room (2adults 2children) this was the most economical modern I could find to stay in for the 4 of us near Tokyo Station. Breakfast was a set 2000 jpy including children which is standard in Japan. Great air con. Amazing view of Tokyo Communication tower from Lobby.
"Very Good Hotel in Tokyo"
11/13/14 WithScruples Windsor, United Kingdom
We were strangers to Japan, and had little understanding of the map of Tokyo, so booked all hotels in a bit of a blind way. If you are the same, then you cannot go too far wrong with this hotel. It is much better than the Mitsui Garden Italia-gai. That said we went with the room with a bath/corner view, but that was still very reasonably priced. Mini bar was free and they supplied coffee. Lovely views of the city. Only not so good point is that they stop serving/allowing you in to breakfast at 09.30 (promptly!) so good luck with a late start on a Sunday! This is a good location for underground and JR lines - easy enough to get to from airport Hanada if you want shuttle train then one stop on a subway - and Ginza is good for shopping and restaurants (and fishmarket!)
"Absolutely Stunning Hotel."
A absolutely stunning hotel from the moment we entered the lobby will were greeted by friendly and polite staff. The check-in was quick and hassle free. We were placed on the 24th floor which is the second highest level for the hotel in which I was happy about. As I entered the room everything looked clean and modern. So then I went into the bathroom and everything looked awesome. There were heaps of amenities. Everything form soaps, shampoos, conditioner, toothbrushes, shavers, hair brush, creams and lotions. So if you stay at this hotel you really don't need to bring any toiletries. This hotel has it all. The beds were very comfortable. I have had one of the best sleeps in my whole life. The rooms lighting and air-conditioner are controlled by a mini tablet. Which I found to be a nice feature. The hotel did have Wi-Fi however in our room it was very patchy and unusable it kept dropping out every 30 seconds. But we did purchased Sim cards before we came to Japan so we used that for the Internet. So overall a fantastic hotel. With a luxury and cosy feel. Close to the train and shops.I strongly recommend this hotel if you ever stay in Tokyo Japan.

Very accessible by train, near Tsukiji food market and few blocks from Ginza main shopping street. Good value for your money. Polite staff, goes to great effort to accommodate us. Great view of Tokyo from the waiting lounge. We were able to see Mt Fuji on a clear day. Clean rooms. Shiseido toiletries included.
"Very good hotel in Ginza area"
11/08/14 mmddkk Melbourne, Australia
We stayed in a superior twin room with a triple bed layout. As most people have mentioned the rooms aren't the biggest but they are well designed and has enough space to move around without issue. The views from the hotel are amazing we stayed on the 24th floor (highest floor is 25) which looked out to the fish market area. Views were of tall skyscrapers and a cool park as well as the bay. Don't worry if you can't see the Tokyo tower you can see it from the lobby. The service was amazing at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. I was astonished at how quick they come to the room after a request for something (they arrived within literally 1 min of calling). Also the information/concierge was very helpful and spoke English very well. Daily house keeping was done to a high standard. The room was fitted with quality and comfortable beds and all the amenities you would need for your stay including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, variety of lotions, hair brush, shaver, toothbrush, night wear, bottled water, slippers, clothes press and more. We had 3 adults in the room and from check in to every other day there was always three of every amenity. The room lighting and aircon was controlled by a tablet which was a nice touch. The TV only really had Japanese channels you need to be lucky to find anything English (even CNN is dubbed in Japanese) this was ok as we were never in the room long enough to watch tv. The bathroom was also adequate. The separate shower was surprisingly roomy and had a great shower head and massage option (needed after a day of exploring). Bath tub probably not needed as it is microscopic and the basin/toilet area could have used that space. The only down side and the reason I'm give 4 and not 5 is the speed and reliability of the wifi. It was not strong and kept dropping out and very unreliable this was a bit annoying (maybe location of room?). The location of the hotel is fine, 5 min to shimbashi station where you can catch most JR lines and 3 min to the metro. 3 min walk to ginza main strip and plenty of (expensive) bars around. It is very quite around the hotel if you like more people and livelier atmosphere stay in Shinjuku or Shibuya area. The hotel has multiple convenience stores around it. We went to Don.K quite frequently as it had everything in it including Rolex watches :). Be sure to check out the second level as that is we're all electrical and souvenirs are. We caught Narita express to the hotel and changed to the yamotne line at Tokyo quite easy. Save money on the way back to Narita by travelling by keisei line (1330 yen) compared to limo bus (3100 yen) the limo bus is right outside the hotel but be sure to book in advance as the bus we needed was fully booked hence we caught the train. Overall a very pleasant stay and recommend to those travelling to Tokyo that want to stay in the Ginza area.
"Still smells new"

This is a nice clean hotel. Not fancy but a nice newer hotel. The rooms are not large. I don't need a large room, but, at least enough space to open up my suitcase and get my things out of it without it being in the way while open. I used the table to set my suitcase on top of. I have no complaints about the hotel. It is comfortable, beds good and everything clean. The location is great, pretty much in a downtown area. Easy access to the trains to get to Namba where the action was much livelier. Getting to the hotel by train and then shuttle is very easy. The hotel was quiet, we had a nice view of the river from our 8th floor room. When we arrived, we had a fantastic lunch in the restaurant and it was very well priced. I did not find the courtesy as amazing as I did in Tokyo or Kyoto, but, I have been told that there would be a difference according to region and whether true or not, it did feel that way to us. This is very reasonable for price per night and you get great value for this hotel. It has a good layout, our room was with separate sink from W/C separate from the shower/ bath combo. Great for two to get ready at the same time. There was instant coffee and tea in the room. I wasn't crazy about the divider to separate the bath area and the sleeping, but, that is only a small issue. Overall, the hotel is good and worth staying at.

Very nice hotel with great views from the 16th floor lobby. Quick service at the lobby and friendly staff which spoke english. Good location with plenty of restaurants around. My partner and I booked a premier double room with views from room and bathroom, located on the 19th floor but I would prefer a higher floor next time. Every day all drinks from the minibar are complimentary and a Nespresso machine at your disposal. The well decorated room has a seating arrangement but lacks some space to put suitcases. Good mattresses and little to no noise and light come in at night. Good climate in room, free and quick wifi. Strong shower. Minor details: we arrived early but our luggage was not in the room when we arrived at night but was delivered to the room in no time. Restaurant menu is a bit pricy.
"One of Our Favorite Rooms Ever"
11/04/14 travelmbo Columbia, Maryland
My husband and I spent 4 nights at Mitsui Garden in October 2014. This hotel has it all. Great location - easy access to train and subway lines, shopping, fish market, etc. The room was one of the most comfortable ever - great bed, view, bathroom, lights, everything. This was important to us as we stayed there after our trans-Pacific trip and needed to be able to nap and refresh frequently. It was also extremely helpful that the Narita airport limo/bus stops right in front of the hotel. It was relaxing to know we didn't have to cope with subways, buses, or taxis arriving bleary-eyed from the airport.
