"Highly recommend this hotel! Great view, room, price, service & location!"

I just came back from Japan. I stayed at this amazing hotel for 4 nights and absolutely LOVED it! The view from the 16th floor lobby is AMAZING! You can see the town of Ginza and Tokyo Tower from there. My room on the 21st floor had amazing view. The room is, unfortunately small, but within Japanese standard. It was thoroughly CLEANED, bathroom had a small tub and raindrop shower and had tons of amenities such as make-up remover, shower cap, carbonated bath salt tablets, skin moisturizer, face soap, toothbrush, razor, hair brush, hair dryer… You basically can go to this hotel without bringing anything with you (lol). And they refill everything everyday! Location, location, location! The location is GREAT. 5 min walk to the nearest train station (Shinbashi/Ginza line) or 8 min taxi ride to Tokyo station. With Ginza line, you can easily transfer to any other lines to go to Shibuya, Harajuku, Roppongi, Akasaka, Asakusa, etc. It's in GINZA, so there are everything around the hotel: 24 hrs convenient stores, restaurants, bars, shopping strip, etc.

I have been to many hotels around the world and a few in Tokyo, this is the only one that is a little "unusual" and it's not necessary a negative notion and let me elaborate more. We decided to stay in Ginza on our last night in Tokyo and have eventually decided on Mitsui Garden in Ginza, primarily because of the location. Literally, the best location within the price range. It's smacked right in the middle of Ginza where the shops/boutiques and Tsukiji fish market are all within minutes walk away. Now about the "unusual" part, the hotel is located at higher floors of the building. That means, the lobby is not located on the ground floor like most hotels. When the cab driver dropped us at the "entrance" of the building, we thought we arrived at the wrong hotel because there was no proper reception but two lifts that leads us to the actual lobby of the hotel on a much higher floor. But once we reached the hotel lobby, we were welcomed with the beautiful sky view of Tokyo. On a clear day, you will be lucky to get a view of the majestic Mt Fuji from the hotel lobby and most of the rooms (I think) offer the spectacular view of Ginza/Tokyo. Even though the room was small (typical size of hotels in Japan where land/space is scarce) but the amenities and service were more than make up for it. The staff are able to communicate very fluently in English, which is a big plus! The room is clean and spacious enough for us to pack our last-day shopping into two full-size luggage. I would recommend this to business and couple but definitely not suitable for family with young children due to the space constraint. Tips: 1. Sometimes, the hotel rate is lower if you make the booking directly from the hotel website. Look out for their off-season promotion. 2. There's a 24-hours Donki shop right in front of the hotel for those who want to grab mid-night snack or last-minute souvenir.

Good location and a very nice, upscale hotel, 5 mts walk from the nearest metro entrance. The Donki shop (all in one shop) can be found right next to the hotel and the rooms are nice and spacious (for Japan). The views are incredible and so are the hotel amenities, lovely bars and restaurants. Recommended!

This was a lovely hotel in Ginza. Staff were extremely helpful. The room had an amazing window and view. Bathroom also lovely. It was the smallest room that we had on our 3 week trip. Had a double bed with very little room to move.

Good size room, comfy bed and set up. Good value for money compared to other hotels in Ginza Easy access to transport, metro station 5-10min walk away Donki store in front for any necessity Narita limo stop in front of hotel Walking distance from Ginza / Uniqlo 10 min walk to Tokyo fish market
"Great choice for traveling Tokyo"

Just finished my 5 days trip to Tokyo and stayed in this hotel. First of all, good location, close to stations of different metro systems which provides you all the transportation to most of the popular sites. Secondly, the design of building is great and elegant, combined with fascinated atmosphere with gorgeous The service is also great and the room is clean and quiet. The only cons I would like to say is the standard room(18m2) is a little bit smaller than I expected, but considering that Ginza is the most expensive area of Tokyo, it is quite reasonable. In conclusion, the best choice for taking trip to Tokyo, if the budget is wide, add a little bit more for bigger room will be perfect.

Really wonderful hotel! About 10 minutes walk to Ginza shopping area. The hotel looks very stylish over all and the room was spacious (for Tokyo) and comfortable. I thought 23 sq.m. would be really cramped but it was very well designed that it even felt roomy. My room had a great view being on the 17th floor (lobby is on the 16th floor). Bathroom had separate bath and shower and the room was equipped with everything you need. Water in the minibar was complimentary and the wifi was smooth and fast. It's a nice feeling when you don't have to pay extra for the little things after you check in. The really big plus is that there is limousine bus service straight to Narita from the hotel. The only very slight grouse is that is could be a little closer to a metro station, but 7-8 min walk from Shimbashi station is not too bad. Totally recommended.

Pretty good value for what you pay. Excellent rooms with good amenities, and fully stocked (coffee, tea and mineral water). My room had a Corby (?) trouser press- my first time using one. It works for shirts as well... Look up and you might see Bose speakers on the ceiling. Overdoing it a little, perhaps? Glad that they do not use Beats, at least. My room had a view of a swathe of Tokyo. You can stand on the edge of the window and look 20+ floors down... avoid doing this if you are afraid of heights. I suspect that some better rooms might have a view of the bay or of Tokyo Tower (both of which can be seen from the lobby). There is a luggage storage service available for those with late flights- however it is limited due to space- one bag per person. Understandable, for this part of the world. Finally, for those who're interested in this sort of thing, the hotel is owned by Mitsui Fudousan, which is linked to the trading/investment firm Mitsui & Co. I wouldn't be surprised if some of their top foreign staff are put up here when they are in town for meetings...

The hotel is not in a great location other than close to the fish market (which is a must do, esp. the many small eating places nearby). Its a short walk to the subway and close to the Ginza shops. If you want "brand" names at an expensive price then Ginza is for you. Not much different from other similar high end shopping disticts anywhere in the world. Not much character. The hotel has great view is modern and spotless. Rooms are small even by Japanese standards. The bath is set up so you can soak and check out the view but that's about the highlight. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay in a different area. We moved from Ginza to Shibuya which was much more interesting.
"Outstanding Hotel and Service"

The hotel occupies the top floors of an office building -- RICOH, I think -- with the main lobby, bar, and restaurant on the 16th floor and the guest rooms on the higher floors. A pair of elevators takes you directly to the main lobby from the ground floor. The views from the main lobby are impressive, especially at night when the Tokyo Tower is lit. Throughout the hotel, the decor is similar, modern and minimal. The guest rooms are compact but well appointed to maximize the space (e.g. flatscreen TVs mounted on the wall, built-in closets, hidden refrigerators, etc.). I stayed in two separate rooms, and both were very clean and comfortable. All of it -- the atmosphere, rooms, and service -- was wonderful.
