"A very good hotel"

We starten and ended our trip in japan at this hotel. The rooms are small, but comfortable and the beds very good. The hotel lobby is at the 16th floor and our room was at the 22nd floor. This gives great views of tokyo from your bed. We enjoyed the very good Daily breakfast. The staff are really helpfull and do thier best to make your stay good. Book this hotel.
"Good place to stay when visiting Tokyo"

We recently stayed at the Mitsui Garden Premier Hotel Ginza for 5 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located near train stations (5-10 mins) on either sides. Also it is walking distance (10-15 mins) to tourist places like the Tsukiji fish market, Harmarikyu park, Kabuki theater and of course the shopping street of Ginza. The Tokyo Tower is easily visible from the lobby area and looks very nice on a clear day and also in the evenings when it is all lit up. We stayed in the standard room and felt the room size was a little small, but I think that might be true for all hotels in Tokyo. Staff members are helpful in providing guidance to tourist spots. Breakfast was the SAME every single morning which got boring after the second day. The spread is ok with a variety of breads, salads, desserts on offer. Overall our experience at the property was good.

After several days of considerations, we decided to stay at this hotel while in Tokyo. Great location, very close to ginza and shimbashi station which easily takes you to the main areas in Tokyo within 20mins max.. Another option to/from the airport is the airport shuttle which stop just outside the hotel. However, it takes about 1.15hrs to arrive. But still a good option if you're not ready to explore the ways upon arrival. I would suggest taking the shuttle from the airport on arrival and take the skyliner for departure (that's what we did and skyliner saved so much time). There are a convenient shop 1 mins away, we usually had our quick breakfast here. Also, a mini supermarket just 4mins away with many Japanese groceries, e.g. juicy fruits, milks, special flavours kitkat, fresh fish products and many more. Restaurants around this area are very good too, ask the hotel staff for recommendations. Amazing skyline view from the 16/F lobby. Staff are very helpful and friendly to deal with our requests. Rooms are clean but not the most spacious of course. Would suggest to book the superior twin if you want more rooms to move around/for luggage. Comfortable beds and pillows, all the amenities you need are also provided in the bathroom. We could not fault this hotel and would definitely stay here again when return to Tokyo.
"Modern Stylish Hotel"
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The pros 1. Hotel is very modern and stylish 2. Rooms are very clean and always kept tidy 3. There's are complimentary drinks that are refilled everyday. Two waters, two apple juices, two beers and two cold teas. Yes, not only the water is free. The others are complimentary too. 4. Hotel has an airport limousine bus service from Narita. 3000yen for one way ticket and 4500 yen for a round trip ticket 5. There's a 24hour store just right across named donki where you can buy all your necessary needs 6. Train stations are just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel 7. Tsukuji market is a 10-15minute walk 8. Walking distance to the main Ginza shopping district 9. Staff are very courteous 10. Beds are comfortable 11. They have in room chargers for all your gadgets. They even have built in Bose sound speakers 12. Size of premier room is western standard 13. Good floor to ceiling view from the room. 14. Good view from the bathroom. The tub is a bit small for western standards 15. They refill all your bathroom needs everyday. 16. Having a humidifier in the room is a plus Cons 1. Staff is very courteous but we were misinformed about tsukuji market. They said that it was open on a Wednesday and we woke up early to see the auction only to find out that it was closed when we got there. So, for people who plans on seeing the auction, please note that the market is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Please plan accordingly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at mitsui garden premier except for the wrong tsukuji market information that we got.
"Great Hotel and Location"

The hotel is situated in a great area, Ginza, within walking distance of two stations (ginza or shimbashi). Hotels rooms are located between 17 and 25th floors and the room we had (a non smoking room) was on the 23rd floor and had an exceptional view of the city bay. The room was clean, modern and stylish. The bathroom was clean and had brilliant complimentary soaps, shampoos and even toothbrushes and cosmetic kits. Each morning there was also complimentary newspapers and water delivered to the room. All the hotel staff are courteous and friendly. I would recommend staying in this hotel when visiting tokyo as it is a central and safe area with excellent links to explore tokyo.
"Yes, nice views, but a good hotel needs more than that"

Yes, it's true: the views from this hotel are great (especially from the lobby) and the premier room is not too small, actually, but apart from that, there is little to enchant the visitor. The jazz bar is smoky, the restaurant does not have vegetarian options and the breakfast is expensive. There was a slight overcharge for cleaning services, which was corrected, but only after insisting. Location in Ginza is very good. There is no gym or spa. Service professional, however, less rigid management, more focused on guest needs might help much to improve this place. Recommended with reservations.
"Small room but great feel"

I was stayed here last year for a night (unfortunately). The staff are great and very helpful, the room was so nice with big window facing Tokyo scenery. Despite the room size, I was surprised with the bathroom window. You can make it clear or frozen with a small switch next to the closet. And you enjoy the scenery while having your private things in the bathroom. :-D They also have a scheduled shuttle bus to the airport. Definitely will back for longer stay here.
"Highly recommend this hotel! Great view, room, price, service & location!"

I just came back from Japan. I stayed at this amazing hotel for 4 nights and absolutely LOVED it! The view from the 16th floor lobby is AMAZING! You can see the town of Ginza and Tokyo Tower from there. My room on the 21st floor had amazing view. The room is, unfortunately small, but within Japanese standard. It was thoroughly CLEANED, bathroom had a small tub and raindrop shower and had tons of amenities such as make-up remover, shower cap, carbonated bath salt tablets, skin moisturizer, face soap, toothbrush, razor, hair brush, hair dryer… You basically can go to this hotel without bringing anything with you (lol). And they refill everything everyday! Location, location, location! The location is GREAT. 5 min walk to the nearest train station (Shinbashi/Ginza line) or 8 min taxi ride to Tokyo station. With Ginza line, you can easily transfer to any other lines to go to Shibuya, Harajuku, Roppongi, Akasaka, Asakusa, etc. It's in GINZA, so there are everything around the hotel: 24 hrs convenient stores, restaurants, bars, shopping strip, etc.

I have been to many hotels around the world and a few in Tokyo, this is the only one that is a little "unusual" and it's not necessary a negative notion and let me elaborate more. We decided to stay in Ginza on our last night in Tokyo and have eventually decided on Mitsui Garden in Ginza, primarily because of the location. Literally, the best location within the price range. It's smacked right in the middle of Ginza where the shops/boutiques and Tsukiji fish market are all within minutes walk away. Now about the "unusual" part, the hotel is located at higher floors of the building. That means, the lobby is not located on the ground floor like most hotels. When the cab driver dropped us at the "entrance" of the building, we thought we arrived at the wrong hotel because there was no proper reception but two lifts that leads us to the actual lobby of the hotel on a much higher floor. But once we reached the hotel lobby, we were welcomed with the beautiful sky view of Tokyo. On a clear day, you will be lucky to get a view of the majestic Mt Fuji from the hotel lobby and most of the rooms (I think) offer the spectacular view of Ginza/Tokyo. Even though the room was small (typical size of hotels in Japan where land/space is scarce) but the amenities and service were more than make up for it. The staff are able to communicate very fluently in English, which is a big plus! The room is clean and spacious enough for us to pack our last-day shopping into two full-size luggage. I would recommend this to business and couple but definitely not suitable for family with young children due to the space constraint. Tips: 1. Sometimes, the hotel rate is lower if you make the booking directly from the hotel website. Look out for their off-season promotion. 2. There's a 24-hours Donki shop right in front of the hotel for those who want to grab mid-night snack or last-minute souvenir.

Good location and a very nice, upscale hotel, 5 mts walk from the nearest metro entrance. The Donki shop (all in one shop) can be found right next to the hotel and the rooms are nice and spacious (for Japan). The views are incredible and so are the hotel amenities, lovely bars and restaurants. Recommended!
