"Top Notch!"
There is nothing else to you can say but by far the best hotel I have stayed in, in Tokyo thus far! Top notch service, staff and amenities! If your an Amex holder I would say this hotel qualifies as an FHR (Fine Hotels & Resorts) Property!

It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Overall in a Great location. Many things to do around the hotel. Staff is very help full and will help. Rooms are nice and have good views. Only thing is rooms are small but basically all are like that in Tokyo so no biggie. But an overall Great experience.

"Great views, great stay"
We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo.

"Amazing view.."
This hotel is amazing! Fantastic location with a superb view of Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Shimbashi Station. Beautifully appointed. My only criticism is that the hotel bar was ridiculously overpriced with not very good service.

"Combination of modern amenities and Japanese style"
We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.

"easy to find"
very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel)

"Superb hotel in Tokyo Ginza neighborhood"
This is a beautiful hotel located on the high floors of a building tower on the edge of the Ginza neighborhood of Tokyo. It is less than 5 min walk from Ginza main street, and within walking distance to Ginza, Shiodome and Shimbashi subway stations. Rooms are modernly decorated and offer grand views of the city. Our bathroom offered both a bathtub and an italian style shower with a window to the room that allowed to see the city from the shower. The hotel has a beautiful bar lounge with grand views and an excellent menu for breakfast of dinner. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

"Great Boutique Hotel"
The room is spacious by Tokyo standard, and well-arranged. Lobby is at 16th floor and rooms are higher, with nice city or even partial bay view. About 5 min. walk to Shinbashi station and right in the heart of Ginza area. Amenities provided are upscale as well. Happy with my stay.

Great position in Ginza - small rooms but very nice! First time in Tokyo and could not believe the amazing views - day or night. Friendly helpful staff and nothing too much trouble, providing you with all the information a first time visitor needs to get around.

"Tokyo Sophistication"
08/22/15 Nigel T Auckland
A modern room that was very clean and well appointed with modern Japanese styling. The lobby is on the 16th floor so it's all up from there. Great views out over the city. The front door to the hotel is not as clear as it could be, but that kind of added to the sophistication of the hotel really. Staff are great and english is no problem. We had breakfast each day which was a significant buffet with both western and Japanese choices. At the current exchange rate it cost about $30 which is similar to most hotel breakfasts around the world. If you'd rather spend that money on something else, you can easily walk outside and find many places for breakfast including Starbucks. I've had Starbucks all over the world. Japan's is by far the best. Free wifi throughout the hotel including your room and the room has charging adapters for lots of different devices as well as a USB port in the nightstand. Bathroom amenities were plentiful including shavers and a hairbrush. Vending machines provide all sorts of drinks including beer. It's about 5 minutes walk from the station with plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. Overall I think the hotel is great. For many travellers the hotel will not be in their budget allocation, but if it is, please feel comfortable choosing it.

Just a couple of stops from Tokyo station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom and room were clean and tidy. The lowest floor you can get is 17 so you will get a nice view. Nearest metro and JR station Shimbashi just 10 minutes walking.

Ginza is perfect if flying in from Haneda Airport (as it's about 15mins away) and for basing yourself in Tokyo for a few days. Great for high-end shopping, it has plenty of transport options to get around to the key areas too. Hotel had some great views (check out the restaurant and bar), staff were very friendly and the amenities were great. It's 15 walking distance from Tsukiji Fish Market too (if making the early start for the Tuna Auction and sushi restaurants which I would recommend!)

"World-Class View, Clean Space, Quality Amenities"
08/12/15 wanderness Hanover, New Hampshire, United States
I stayed at this hotel because the bus from Narito airport drops off exactly here, so travel and purchases were made easier. The price was sincerely reasonable for Ginza, and considering the ease of transport, the convenience of purchasing bus ticket right there, and prime location in the city, it was a bargain. "Garden" is an accurate depiction: a garden of luxury, modernity, style, and panorama views. Even the pens were of amazing quality, and I still use one at home, and think fondly of my night there. The hotel begins on the 16th floor, and rooms go up from there, so views are stunning. Moreover, check-in was quick, and the room was comfortable and metropolitan. Though I only stayed one night, that night made me feel like a star. I at in the lounge, using free wi-fi, and enjoyed the top-class city scape. I ventured into the restaurant for the desert (and, this was the only disappointment), it was small and extremely expensive. I did enjoy the candlelight setting, and was able to accomplish some prime trip-time reflecting. Afterwards, I headed back to my room and found provided toothbrush, toothpaste, hair tie, and two types of bubble-bath bubbles, among other things! I slept high above the Tokyo skyline, in a cloud-soft bed and quiet surrounding. The free breakfast made up for the expensive desert the night before, and what a breakfast display it was! There were delicious pastries, savory seafood, and plenty of beverages provided at the buffet. Afterwards, I was able to swiftly pack up, purchase my bus ticket, and have my baggage handled by the staff (I didn't even have to wheel it to the bus). For business or pleasure, I will definitely consider this hotel the next time I wish to stay in a ritzy area of Tokyo and not destroy my budget or metropolitan experience.

"Good place to stay in Ginza"
08/12/15 Cleetsang Asia
The location of this hotel can not be better. It is in the middle of Ginza which is the heart of Tokyo. There are two subway station within 5 minute walk and large department store just opposite. There is another Mitsui Garden Hotel in the area and we were taken twice by taxi drivers to the wrong one. Our room was good size by Japan standard and the bathroom was brilliantly designed with toilet, bath tub/shower, sink all in separate areas. Beds were very comfortable but pillows are traditional bean type ones. We requested different pillows and were brought to us within 10minutes. In room fridge was empty but two bottle of complementary water which was just good for what we need. The hotel really knows what their guests need. Did not try breakfast as there was a small breakfast cafe Noa down the street with excellent choices and very affordable prices. The big M department store on the opposite side offers good sushi, sashimi and other yummy food items at a huge discount after 7:30pm. Try to avoid booking room facing the big road, we heard ambulances several time in one night. Overall, this is a very good choice for us in Tokyo, for the price, location and overall experience.

"Superb views, nothing else"
08/10/15 Ryan T
We booked this hotel in order to have a great view of Tokyo bay from our room for a night, and got what we paid for. Not a hotel to stay in for anything further - The hotel facilities, like the decor, are minimalist - a vending machine on each floor, while the staff were unable / unwilling to provide further coffee sachets for our room! Decent location for shinbashi station & Ginza shopping

"Rooms with a view"
08/07/15 Dimitri H
We have stayed in this hotel at the end of our holidays in Japan and it was a very nice hotel to end our trip. The rooms are a bit small for the price, but the view is spectacular. The staff is friendly and the breakfast offers a great variety of Japanese and western dishes. The hotel is 5 minutes walk form shinbasi station and there are many nice bars and restaurants close-by. The hotel bar offers a great view, but the cocktails are not very impressive and you need to pay entrance fee for the music.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel... Pros: Awesome views from the rooms- really amazing!! Gorgeous upscale hotel Great location with plenty to do around it Comfortable bed Cons: Overly expensive All of the other guests seemed to be business men or women from Tokyo, we felt out of place as tourists. Breakfast was expensive and not very exciting. No bell men to bring you up to your room and show you how things work... normally I don't care if their is a bell man or not. But it would have been nice to get an explanation on the toilet (no English on it). Of course we eventually did get it. :) Rooms are actually very small and we paid for the upgraded rooms... with 2 weeks of luggage, it was a tight squeeze. Not sure I would have picked this hotel again. But then I don't think we could have beat the view else where.

This hotel is well situated, near Ginza. It has a good level and a fantastic view. Rooms are not particularly big. The bed, for instance, is not easy to access from all sides. Additionally there is no gym nor swimming pool.
