After a six hr drive I came to spend two nights at this hotel. Found it clean and comfortable. I wish the Jacuzzi worked the pool area was warm and the water was warm for the kids. I loved that the hotel had a complementary breakfast and I liked that they had juices throughout the day for the kids and that the lobby had a microwave. The girl in the front desk was extremely nice and very welcoming. Room was clean everything worked. I found my WiFi working fine. No complaints.

A good place to spend the night when traveling. Since it was off season, only a few guests were occupants. The room was comfortable, a king, no smoking. The hot waffle, and coffee wer welcome in the morning.

This place is not what you expect at all. The service was great and Robert the owner did a great job making us feel comfortable and was a great help in... recommending some dinner spots to us. Everything was SUPER clean and the free movies were a bonus. Not to mention the big screen in our room. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in this place for a night if you are in the Paducah area. If we lived closer this would be a great spot to retreat to with out the kids for the evening....And see for yourself on the price, you just can't beat it. Most disappointing . Our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we were expecting so much more. The pictures looked good but they must have been taken many years ago. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep on. It didn't even have a foundation, just a mattress on a platform! The breakfst was a fix yourself a bowl of cereal? People talking loudly outside our door until after 10; p.m. I would never stay here again. we almost left when we first saw our room but we couldn't get our money back so we decided to make the best of it. Response by Escape Bed and Breakfast We reviewed the pictures of the property on our website and compared them to our property today, and the only difference is the comforters on the beds. The comforters were changed because of wear due to them being washed after every stay. The beds are, and always have been, platform beds. That is stated clearly on our website in the room descriptions, as is the contents of the continental breakfast bar which include: OJ, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soda, bottled water, bagels, cream cheese, snack cakes, oatmeal, popcorn, and yes, three types of cereal. As for the other guests having conversations until 10PM, I apologize for that and, had you let me know, I would have been more than happy to address it. As you noted you had a suite with a private hot tub, plus TV with access to 500 movies, a 100" HD theater in the common area, and a free continental breakfast with sodas and snacks available 24 hours for $65. We firmly believe our B&B is clearly represented in our website descriptions, and we pride ourselves on offering a great Escape for an affordable price, therefore it seems unreasonable that you “were expecting so much more”, but we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay.

The best part of my stay were the hosts who were very friendly and helpful. If you like a firm bed, then you will sleep well; however, the beds are on a low-rise platform w/o box springs, so anyone with joint problems would not be comfortable. The lounge area is large, but the only seating inside the bedroom was a folding chair. While the bathroom was […] large, you can only shower by using a handheld showerhead attachment in the whirlpool tub. The breakfast was more or less a cold buffet of pre-packaged sweet rolls, boxes of cereal, and bagels. Coffee and soft drinks were available anytime. I was thoroughly pleased with my stay at Escape B&B in Paducah, KY. I was skeptical because this was my first experience with a b&b.But, I was greeted, given a tour of the entire facility, then taken to my room. It was quiet, clean and just perfect. I'm familiar with the neighborhood as I lived next door for 3 years when I was in grade school and junior […] high. I would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting a place off the beaten path but close enough to I-24 to do shopping/dining and deal with the crowd and traffic. The amenities in the facility far exceed those at a motel where I usually stayed. Ice and beverages were located in the kitchen/dining area and did not require a trip outside. They also offered "extras", like popcorn and tea. Parking was very convenient and you're asked for a door code which lets you enter without having to worry with a key. We LOVED it! Do not be put off that it is not your "run of the mill big fancy house B&B" ,... GIVE IT A CHANCE... you may enjoy it as much as we did! My husband and i wanted someplace to stay close to the riverboat . We were so relaxed we called for take out dinner and never left the place. It was VERYclean and welcoming, SO MANY movies to choose from […] that you can watch on the huge 100 inch screen in the common room, or enjoy in your room. Had alot of fun, felt very comfortable, and at home, workers were freindly and made me feel welcome. Rooms were spotless and hottubs were nice and clean and it was a very relaxing weekend with a wide variety of free movies, and I loved the theatre. Highly recommended.
