However, it is in an industrial area, so there is little local to see. Through the hotel, we arranged a tour of Santiago. The cab driver was pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable, The price was fair as well. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and its free buffet breakfast, the staff, and our experience.

Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013The Hotel Loreto was perfect. We only had 24 hours in Santiago (long layover), but wanted to get out and see the city. We arrived at midnight and the front desk staff was so welcoming...the bellhop even went out and got us four beers to drink in our room!! The hotel is modern, but classy, with big balconies in each room. The room was very quite; with the balcony door closed you could hear a pin drop, so we got great sleep. The location is perfect for anyone that wants to see some of the city. We walked to the museums, market, plaza de arms, and the Bellavista barrio area. I'd strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The reason is basically because the room I selected has no facilities for a business traveler. No desk, no place to sit and write, no specific lights for that and no room for clothes. There were no place for hanging a suit, shirt or nothing. Just a small place over the safety box that's not enough for male size clothes. So, practically i didn't get my stuff out of the case. Very uncomfortable. Other point to improve is variety of meals for room service and the breakfast service. The rest of the hotel service was great, taking into account that is a boutique hotel, so you will not find dozen of employees. It's really quiet, the ancient building is amazing, and you can sleep even better than home. Y strongly suggest the place for a personal trip, not for business.

The room is in fact a small but very comfortable apartment, very clean and well located. We were only disappointed by the fact that we were told that the price paid online did not include taxes so we had to pay taxes additionally to what we had already paid to your site. In addition, there were some difficulties to obtain an early check-in and the check-in […] time is very late (3pm!), our flight arrived in the country at 7am, so waiting so long was not nice for us. The hotel is in Very nice part of this city. It is close to shopping and many great restaurants. The complementary breakfast is not very good.The scrambled eggs were about the worst I have ever experienced and the bacon was undercooked. But the fruit was cress and the coffee was pleasant. Over all the hotel was great but the Gym was terrible. There […] are no free weights and the all in one weight machine predates Arnold's Olympian titles. The tread mill was a waste of time and the entire Gym is about the size of a walk in closet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that does not care to stay fit while away from home. We stayed here twice, first stay we stayed 2 nights and then visited a few wineries and came back for one night, all rooms are suites with a separate living room, kitchen, balcony. This hotel was better than I expected. I arrived late in the night and asked for a late check out at 14:00 the next day and this request was no problem at all. The rooms are massive and have a separate kitchen with microwave and full size fridge. The bedroom was also excellent and had a balcony. This was a great choice thanks to many well written and honest reviews by expedia members. It was great being able to cook especially as we were there on Good Friday. There are lots of restaurants nearby, a great bar one block away, a big supermercado and close to a big shopping mall. Like most places we visited renovations or repairs are going on. We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The hotel is situated in a great area, between Providencia and Las Condes. It is close to the metro and within walking distance of many good restaurants. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, and even helped us arrange out of town tours of the vineyards with a private driver. Not everyone at the front […] desk was completely fluent in english, but this was not a major problem. The rooms (we had a suite with 2 bedrooms/baths/living room and little kitchenette) were clean, well maintained and quiet. Breakfast was included, and was a continental-style buffet with enough choice to keep us satisfied. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, I would certainly stay there again. Looks like an american hotel in a country where hotels are usually different. Even the breakfast is more american than chilean. Everything was fine in the suite (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one kitchenette and one living room), except that no WiFi was available in the hotel!!! WiFi is usually free in hotels in Chile, even in restaurants and cafes, so I […] don't understand why in this hotel you have to pay to get access: US$2 for 15 minutes, and only available in the lobby... Como nosotros somos pequeños, no tuvimos problemas. Tampoco tienen autorizacion para servir bebidas alcoholicas por lo que no se puede tomar en la terraza agradable que tienen en el primer piso.
