The hotel was nice. The beds were comfortable. The location was ideal since it was near the main train station. The only problem was a clogged bath drain.

Room was quite tiny and not well ventilated. Had to open the window and the street noise was quite loud. There is a club next door that plays loud music on weekends and can be heard with the window open. Maybe the rooms in the back are less noisy. Carpet was not very clean, room door hard to open. Breakfast was OK and only Euros 7.50.

I chose this place for its convenient location but I should have searched better. It was in the most awful location imagenable. Inthe middle of red light district with women and pimps wondering around as well as the most dirty part of the city. I think we saw only one German looking person. This is really great place to stay. The location of the hotel is one of the best that you can find for this price. The stuff was really helpfull and ready to solve any problem. Just one thing that we didn't like is the first room that we were given (the number is 201). It was really small room for two people, windows of wich are coming to the street. […] There was a kind of smoke smell. But the next day we changed the room (on 308), windows coming to the back yard. It was twice bigger, quite and clean. The breakfast was really cool, and more than enough for morning meal. The last think is free internet - very nice complementary. When I arrived, the room given to me had no desk. "How would I work with my laptop", I asked. They saw the point. To their credit, in a few minutes, the front desk clerk arrived with a key to a new room and offered to help move my luggage to the new room, along with another member of the staff. Very accommodating. The new room, two floors up, was just […] fine. The rooms were a bit small, but the breakfast was good and plentiful and everything else about the hotel was perfectly acceptable. While not a five star hotel, I wasn't paying for a five star, so it was reasonable value for the money. I'd go back there again, if I had business in Hamburg. Also, the location is pretty good. The path to the main railway station looks longer than it really is, if you refer to on-line mapping. It's actually about a 1/3 mile (1/2 km) walk to the station. Also, I went wandering around hunting for food and there were plenty of different restaurants, all around the same 1/2 km radius of the hotel. I ate at two good restaurants, 1 middle-east cuisine and another Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine restaurant (both of which are healthy). For its price, I recommend this hotel. The location is very good, close to the Hauptbanhof (central railway station) and the city centre. There is direct train service from there to the airport (NB: only the first three cars go to the airport!) My room was a bit basic (as was the hotel itself), but it was economical, a reasonable size, the bed was comfortable, the shower room nicely refurbished and there was a decent sized desk to work at. Cleaning seemed thorough, although the decor was a bit tired. Breakfast was a buffet selection of various sliced meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals and breads along with plentiful coffee and a couple of large jugs of fruit juice. The only hot option was scrambled eggs. Location is central and there is a good quality McDonalds (with a McCafe included) across the road from the hotel. My main concern was the nature of the local area rather than the hotel itself. The road behind the hotel contains numerous sex shops and the whole locality had a slightly dubious air about it. The hotel has secure garage parking (€8 per day and entrance via a key code pad) a few minutes walk away. My journey to and from the car park every day involved walking past groups of men huddled in doorways and leaning against walls. It was also rather disconcerting to find that the car park entrance is a couple of doors down from a 'Fetisch Club'. I never felt threatened and wasn't too disconcerted by it, but it's not an area I would be happy taking my wife to. Having said that, there were numerous couples staying during my visit. Read more

We, small family of 3, stayed for a night and overall it is fine for the price. Rooms are OK and clean. There was a small problem in bathroom but it was solved quickly, at least they found solution. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für city trippers so wie ich. Das Personal war sehr nett, Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend,das Zimmer wurde regelmässig aufgeräumt. We asked for a cot for our 10 month old, nobody in the hotel could erect the cot. The door to the room would not lock, so on out first day we had much waiting around to do. The safe had to be replaced the key was broken. However the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Vi var afsted 3 nætter, 2 voksne og 2 børn, og det var helt perfekt, vi kom med tog fra KBH og skulle kun gå få minutter fra Banegården. Der er meget rent og pænt og meget roligt. Ligger i gå afstand til alt i byen. Kan kun anbefales.

Service freundlich, für ein paar Übernachtungen empfehlenwert, 4 Bett Zimmer wäre für längere Zeiträume für vier Personen zu eng. Wenn man jedoch einfach nur einen Unterschlupf zum schlafen und ein sauberes Zimmer möchte oder ein Zweibettzimmer will, ist gut bedient, da die Lage echt ideal ist.

Hotellet ligger centralt, meget tæt på hovedbanegården og indkøbsstrøgene. Gaderne bag hotellet var knapt så pæne, med en del "letlevende" butikker. Vi havde bestilt et familierum til 2 voksne og 2 børn, børnene sov på en ret umagelig sovesofa. Der var ingen varme overhovedet på badeværelset så det var en kold omgang at bade derude. My room, 104, was situated under ground level. You could hear the trains comming in every 10min. In the morning people are running outside your room from 7 a.m. There wasn't any view from the window.

Wenn man den ganzen Tag in Hamburg unterwegs ist und einfach nur seinen Koffer abstellen will und ein paar Stunden schlafen will, dann bekommt man dies zum günstigen Preis im Bahnhofsviertel. Leider fährt der Zug alle 10 Minuten "durch das Zimmer". Als wir das Fenster gekippt haben, hat es an 2 von 3 Abenden nach fritiertem Fett gestunken, woher auch […] immer.. Durch die Matratze kam eine Feder durch, was die erste Nacht etwas ungemütlich machte, wurde aber direkt am nächsten Tag behoben. Fazit: Empfehlenswert als günstige Übernachtung ohne Anspruch.
