"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.

The Hilton Club in New York was the perfect experience for a large conference I was attending. The rooms are on the 37th & 38th floors so you don't hear the sounds of the city at night for a peaceful night's sleep. The club lounge on the 37th floor is a fantastic place to relax, grab a snack, and get great dining recommendations from the staff.

"Time share Hilton in New York"
We booked the Hilton Club for a long weekend mostly for location: short walk to broadway shows, 5th avenue, Central Park. Overall it was fine, but we didn't realize "Club" meant it was a section of the hotel dedicated to RCI owners. Well, now we know. Expect a low-pressure sales pitch at check in and messages on voice mail from the time share sales […] people. Expect the "lounge" to be packed with people, families with kids, etc for the continental breakfast and early evening "happy hour" in all states of dress and behavior. It felt a bit like a motel in that respect. Otherwise, fine place to stay for our purposes. Staff very nice and helpful. Read more

This hotel is close to everything I want to do - theater, Loncoln Center and restuarants. It was a pleasure to stay there.

"Hilton Club - New York"
Staff very nice and helpful. Food good. Room cleaners need more training, specially for the bathroom ( tap & toilet cover were filthy).

Travelling with a group of 6, I would thoroughly recommend the Hilton Club New York. Rooms were all that is required with great shower and convenient to all major attractions and transport. The complimentary drinks every evening between 5-7pm are a great way to start the evening. Would definately stay here again.
"Not good value"
The hotel is perfectly clean and the rooms are spacious. The air con was not quite up to the task during an east cost heatwave and the room was always just a little too warm. The hotel bar and food charges are excessive, whilst this is the first (and I hope only) time I have ever been charged (and it was not a small charge) for using what were very […] standard fitness facilities. For this reason, I will not be staying here again. There are many other options in this area at this price and next time I will stay elsewhere. Read more
