Bit scary. The floor was almost sticky with spilled drink and the elevator reeked of vomit.

Our room had an awful smell in it. Really strong chemical or oil based paint. The smell was so strong, I could smell it on my clothes even after I left. The breakfast buffet was yummy but the service was pretty dreadful. The first day, a server sat us, and told us someone would be by to bring us coffee and toast in a couple minutes. No one came so I […] went up to the buffet and got food. It was until I was done eating, that I finally caught the attention of someone to ask for coffee. The second morning was any better other than I asked for coffee and toast sooner. The staff was so busy cleaning and setting tables they completely ignored me. Was a decent, basic hotel. Close enough to town centre to walk to but it will not be short walk. Was given the wrong room initially but when alerted of the problem they quickly changed it.

We booked a large family room and after a mix up were promptly allocated the room we payed for. The heat on the third floor was stifling even though we left the window wide open all night. I stayed 2 nights Waking up the first morning there was no water hot or cold. I rang Reception and the guy on duty said that they had an unexpected flight land at the airport on divertion and its passangers had used all the water . This was at 7.15 He told me there would be no water on the third floor till 8.30 at the earliest. Next morning there was […] water but no way of using the shower as the switch wouldnt stay on. The location of Breakfast was literally a Movable fiest moving from the Pine room to the tiny cafe ...guess where BreAKFAST IS TODAY which was so cold we all went back to get out sweaters and coats . The best scones Ive ever had though on both days so hats off to whoever baked them Actually all the staff were very nice. I feel sorry for them having to work there The sauna in the spa was broken and the hotel had deteriorated visably over the 5 months since my last visit . Very friendly staff, great food, lovely hotel. Only problem we had the morning we were checking out was to turned on the cold tap and it was like tea running out the tap and the flush in the toilet was the same. was very thankful i didnt use that cold tap water for washing my baby bottles.

Our stay in your hotel was disappointing as we had to suffer the fire alarm going off 3 times during the night . On checking out the next morning we received no explanation or appology. As this was our first time to stay in the West County I believe it will also be our last !!!!!

as a family of five i felt the rooms very small even though we had two requested next door but they were 3 doors apart. As u can imagine not ideal for us as a family. The breakfast was poor standard and variety was not great not enough for all. I cannot fault the staff or the cleanliness of the rooms was. The evenin food was good.

I guess the hotel sells more because of breakfast and dinner and we had room only....it has a leisure centre, which we could not use as they do not allow kids apart from 9 am to 6 pm, a difficult thing to do when on holiday.
