This hotel was very basic in terms of a 3***. The manager of the hotel was very rude. he took offence when I refused to leave my passport in his possession at check-in. I am sure thta one of the basic rules in travel is not to let your passport out of your sight at any stage. He treated us with contempt. the room was musty rarely aired I reckon. Towels were well and truely used and well worn and looked as if they hadnt been changed in years. Bathroom was primitive with just the basics very little pressure in the shower etc. One to be avoided !!! They even put a limit on the number of croissants that we could eat at the buffet breakfast and took the tray away !!!

The hotel staff was rude and non-reactive when we checked in and checked out. The room itself had paint peeling off the wall and had many mosquitos bothering and biting us while we sleeping. The bathroom was old and there was mold all over the area where the toilet was. The only nice thing about the hotel was the lobby and bar area which were very historic looking and had a great ambiance. This hotel should not continue to be promoted until the rooms are renovated.

The only thing that I thought was really missing here for the price was that they didn't have CNN or BBC, no English language news on the TV. Otherwise, the staff was helpful, the hotel is historic and a bit flash, definitely Moroccoan not a European looking chain.

Wonderful recently restored Art Deco building in neighborhood of same. Right downtown, close to most things to do in Casa. Rooms are somewhat disappointing compared to lobby and outside. Good price. Friendly service, helpful.

There is a Bar/Club right in the hotel or near it that Kept us up Half of the night, we finally had to ask for a new room, which they gave us, but was hardly any quiter. So if you are looking for a good night's sleep this is not it. Also, the hotel restaurant is a rip off, and there are very few real restaurants in the neighborhood - a lot of coffee and ice cream places. I'm sure it was a nice hotel 20 yrs ago, but for as much as it costs, it's definately not that nice, our least favorite place we stayed in all of Morocco.

Transatlantique exudes old Moroccan charm. There is lots of genuine ornamentation that gives it a nice feel. The rooms were clean, high-ceilinged and well appointed. The front desk was very friendly and helpful albeit their English is very limited. On the downside, the bathroom window could not be completely closed and it wasn't screened; even in mid-January we had some mosquitoes and there is no bed netting. Avoid the restaurant: it looks charming but the food was the worst we had anywhere is Casablanca.

The room had mosquitoes and should have had nets over the beds. The vacant lot across the street was full of trash and unsightly. The staff was somewhat confused about our prepaid meal plan.

We arrived at Transatlantique at 5 am directly from the airport after a long day cause of our flight' delay. The staff was very kind and help us when we finally arrived and let us stay in our room whatever we wanted. The room was quite big and clean, decorated in maroccan style, only the bathroom was a little bit old. THis hotel is quiet and near to Casablanca centre and market.
