We loved it!! Really enjoyed our stay! Very nice patio right in front of our room upstairs where you can see the ocean. Little coves are right down the street from the hotel. I will definitely go back again. Thank you!

The location was fantastic! Public beach access immediately across the street and walking distance from lots of food and shops without being in the middle of crazy congested downtown Laguna Beach. However, our room was tiny and the bathroom reeked of toilet so bad, we had to keep the bathroom door closed and spray air freshener to keep the hotel room […] from smelling terrible. Good buy for the money. Rooms are pretty small but nicely furnished. Housekeeping staff extremely nice; front desk guy nice, but a bit clueless. Incredible walk-to beach 5 min away. Great location for eating & shopping. Pool not heated - bummer! All in all , a good buy.

The room was ok, a little on the small side. The main thing I enjoyed was the jacuzzi tub. I felt that the price of the room was high considering it was a little out-dated and far from the main area of Laguna (not comfortable walking distance). And I understand that we're by the beach and everyone is very "laid back", but the front desk people seemed […] to not care about their job at all. We've stayed at this inn a couple times, and we love it ever time! Front desk is always so helpful. Their fee breakfast is smaller now, but still pretty good. They don't offer wine and cheese happy hour anymore. But it's a short block away from the beach. Just a couple blocks away from downtown, a great neighborhood. We booked this hotel last minute and i couldnt be happier. Walking distance to nice restaurants and bars, surf shops, and beautiful beach. Bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, bathroom was nice (had the Queen Jacuzzi tub room 103). The TV was old and not many channels but you dont stay on the beach to watch TV, so thats not even a big deal […] to me. The staff was great, let us check in early, which was really nice of them. The inn seems to cater to divers and surfers. The floors are wooden, not carpeted. The one light in the main room couldn't have been more than 60 watts. Bed was comfortable and bathroom quite nice. However, either that don't have a visitor info sheet, or they forgot to give it to me. I ended up going to office three times. First, I had to ask how to […] access their free wi-if. Next, there were no signs to the room that housed their good breakfast. Last, and I know this seems petty, but when their soda pop machine failed to give me change, and I complained, the reply was "Oh, sorry about that"' with no offer to reimburse. Most everything was great, as it always is. They removed phones from the room, so no direct way to call the office, except by cell phone or walking down. Also, the wi-fi reception was very poor. But still good value for the money.

I have stayed at this hotel for years and its always consistently good but it only takes really rude people to wreck it. Several guests sat up on main patio which rooms surround and got drunk and argued till 2:30 in the morning. I asked nicely 2 times and nothing changed. Finally they must of passed out. Check-in fast and friendly, housekeepers very friendly, the place was very clean. Continental Bkfst as you would expect, coffee was amazing! Overall I would give the place an above average rating. Queen room was a little small, sorta like a bedroom 12' by 12', bathroom almost as big to accomadate the jacuzzi tub, which we used, so the tradeoff for room […] size was even. I looked inside other rooms and if you want more space get a king or two twin bed room, but no jacuzzi in those rooms. I loved that right outside of our room was an upper deck patio with table, chairs and umbrella to sit at with a partial view of the ocean. The street noise from PCH was the worst part of this location, extremely loud at times when motorcycles went by. Once inside the room, the noise didn't seem to be a factor. Loved the short walk down to the beach which had a beautiful private location surrounded by nice homes and rocks, very nice. We walked to the main beach in Laguna along PCH and discovered some very cool little shops and some great little restaurants along the way, but it is quite a long walk, about 2 miles. Hotel has very good sound insulation. The layout of the complex (not the room) is clever and useful. Parking is adequate. The A/C is under-the-window unit and noisy; however, it runs on continuous fan which helps with the noise. Stayed at the Inn to be close to a holiday party and for the price it was perfect. Actually for a getaway overnight I would come back to visit, several restaurants within walking distance and the beach was across the street. The continental breakfast was very good, I had not expected it.

Hotel was excellent value. Room was small but nicely done. Bath was large with huge jacuzzi tub. 1 block from beach. Walking to good restaurants. I'd definatly recommend.
