With a late night arrival to Lima, followed by an early morning flight, staying at the Ramada Airport hotel was the obvious answer. You absolutely cannot get more convenience. Pricey but worth it for the convenience. There is NOTHING else decent in the area and you will waste time and taxi fare if you want to have an airport location but are hoping to save money. We didn't notice till we got there that they will charge you a 10% room cleaning fee - that WAS divulged by Hotels.com, though. The staff is excellent - ask them what taxi fare should be to your destination and that will save you a lot of money when you negotiate your fare! Very conviniente if you are taking a flight in the morning. It is expensive but considering the cost of taking a taxi to the city and back and the time you woul waist. It is worth the extra expense. Breakfast was ok and included in the price.

Some reviews I read said this hotel needed updating, frayed carpet, etc. That is not what we found. It is convenient to the airport, just walk across a breezeway so it is very safe. Room had soundproof window so didn't hear a thing. Great brakfast!

We arrived al the Lima airport late at night, and we were flying to Cusco early the following morning. Thus, the hotel location made a huge difference for us: it is righ in the middle of the airport, it took us less than 5 minutes to walk from the gate to the hotel lobby! Check in was quick and efficient. We were given a voucher for a courtesy drink […] at the bar (we enjoyed an excellent pisco sour drink on the house a bit later!). We were also told that our breakfast was included (even though this was not indicated in our expedia reservation form, so that too was a nice surprise). The room was big and comfortable, as well as well kept. However, it was very noisy! We were on the first floor and we could hear signifficant traffic below, as well as conversations from people walking into the hotel at late hours. It was hard for me and my husband to get any sleep, although I must say that my kinds slept like babies... That was the only weak point of our stay. Breakfast was excellent, a big buffet with lots of options, fresh ingredients, etc. The hotel location allowed us to leave our teenage kids sleeping in the room while we droppped the luggage and did the check-in, gaining an extra hour of sleep in the morning that they valued very highly! Getting to LIMA for just one night does not make sense for its almost $40 CAB ride plus 30-40 minutes. So, we had an overnight layover ant this hotel and is connected to airport. Rate was the same as JW in Miraflores but if you factor in the cabs it is cheaper. Room was basic 3 star but would return if I have a layover.

My husband & I have traveled all over the world and this is one of the BEST airport hotels. The hotel isn't fancy but it's clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding. This hotel is more expensive than others nearby, but the fact that you can grab a luggage cart from baggage claim and wheel it all the way to your room at the hotel is an enormous plus for this hotel. The hotel was clean, and comfortable. The beds were small (doubles, not queens), but that wasn't a huge deal for us. They had a hot breakfast with eggs, […] pancakes, juices, sausage, and more, and they even had an omlette station with a chef making omelets to-order. This was included with the cost of the room. Additionally, the breakfast opened at 4am, which is great because lots of flights leave super early out of Lima. The only downside is that they need better soundproofing. There was a taxi outside with an occasional car alarm type sound that would go off every couple of minutes (I think the driver was making the sound happen to try to convince people to ride in his taxi). After about an hour he got someone to ride in his taxi and it wasn't a problem any more. The windows for the hotel are directly over the main thoroughfare for vehicles dropping people off at the airport. The hotel's proximity to the airport is both a blessing and a curse. The location of this hotel took a huge stress off of me! The bell service people, (especially Antonio) were extremely nice, and I am not that easy to please! I was traveling with my two children to Cusco, and landed in Lima at 11:15 p.m. with a 10:10 a.m. departure to Cusco. Not having to hassle with taxi service both upon our arrival and departure […] was fantastic. I even got to to let my children sleep in for our departure while I went and checked my bag for the flight. I then walked back to the hotel for a lovely buffet breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to first time fliers into Lima with a short layover. The room was sufficient for my needs.
