"Centrally located hotel"
This hotel was OK for the low price we were able to book with Expedia and its central location. However, if you are a traveler who requires reliable internet access, then you might want to take into consideration that the wired connection in the room is not always functional. We tried to communicate with the front desk about the lack of an internet […] connection, but since they spoke very limited English and we spoke no Japanese, we did not receive any assistance. We just utilized the free Wifi in one of the coffeeshops down the street. Although the reception staff were not particularly helpful or welcoming, the wait staff in the adjacent restaurant were quite friendly and hospitable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good hotel for the money, the location is great"
Good hotel for the money, the location quite close to the train station and downtown is perfect. It's walkable distance to the memorial, you are actually in the center already. The hotel rooms are small, but that's the standard in Japan so no issues at all. The lobby was very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great central location"
Small room in central location in Hiroshima. Good value for money.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Hotel for the money"
Good hotel to stay in Hiroshima about 10 mins walk from JR Station, many restaurants in the surrounding areas, neighbourhood were safe. Room was tiny no space for a two medium roller bag (for real). No free coffee in the room, no fresh slippers. It's good for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location and the hotel staff was very accommodating. They spoke a little English-enough to check in. The room was quite small but perfectly fine for a couple. Ask for the wireless Internet-it is available. Good value!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice basic hotel in a good location"
This was our first real hotel in Japan, and as expected, the room was a little bit small, but everything was in good condition and it did the job. Walking south from the hotel ends you up in a very interesting nightlife area, and it's a short walk to get to the main tourist attractions. There is a streetcar stop right out front which will take you to […] the main train station or save you the short walk over to the tourist attractions if you prefer. "Good location, Good service."
This is a fantastic hotel to stay at. Very good value for money. The only downside was that there were smoking rooms in the hotel and when we turned the air-conditioning on it made the room smell. This happened in every hotel we stayed at though (6 different hotels). I believe it is unavoidable so it's best to just leave your air-conditioning off if […] smoking smells bother you. "Close to Tram"
Right in front of a tram station and within walking distance to the Peace Park the hotel was ideally placed for our needs. The restaurant was not open for dinner during our stay but with a variety of options in the area it wasn't a problem.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location in delightful Hiroshima"

"Would not stay here again"
We arrived here after being in Tokyo and Kyoto and I was totally disappointed by this hotel The staff were very unfriendly and they don't provide wifi at all - they couldn't even advise where we could get wifi, the reception staff were not keen to help their guests Would not recommend this hotel at all The bathroom was super tiny!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Hotel for the Price"
We stayed in Hiroshima for one night, long enough to do the bomb dome, museum, castle and miyajima island. There is a tram stop directly out the front which is great but this is not covered by the JR pass. It is still simple to use and only a couple of dollars to use. There is a convenience store next door which was great. The room was an ok size for […] two people. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"quiet location and near to subway."
10 mins walking distance to sannomiya stn and shopping area. a descent size and clean room with all the necessity in it. consider a little expensive with no free breakfast as compare to other similiar hotel!Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is located right outside a tram station. If you think you are going to travel a lot on the tram in the following two days (in excess of 15 times) you could invest in a two day travel pass in Hiroshima, which covers ferry and cable car travels (admittedly the times you need to travel on a tram is less if you utilise all these modes of transport). […] The room was very well maintained and the service was excellent. Getting around was so simple that there really isn't much of an excuse to not get to all of the main parts of Hiroshima City. "Great hotel and location"
This was a great hotel and I could walk everywhere in Hiroshima from here. It is also very close to Hiroshima station. I would treat this though, as a hotel that does not have Internet. It didn't work when I was there, and they don't have a computer. Only one to take to your room that they charge for. But Tullys coffee shop round the corner does have […] wifi. Depends how important that is to you. I had to work, so this was my only gripe. Otherwise it was great. The hotel does have washing facilities, which is very handy. "Chisun Hotel Hiroshima"
Good to spend one night and visit Hiroshima.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is conveniently located near the main Hiroshima Station and also just opposite the tram station. It is on the main street of Hiroshima. It is moderately priced as well. I stayed in a room which was self contained and traffic noise free. The staff were friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basic but comfortable"
Stayed at Chisun Hiroshima overnight. It is quite a tight room, but had the basics of a bed and shower, which is all my partner and I needed as we only used the room for showering and sleeping. It is in quite a good location being a few blocks away from the main shopping area. We initially used the streetcar to get around but realised the shops and […] Peace Park were only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent for the price"
Firstly, the hotel is situated nicely right across from a tram stop and bus stop. There's also a convenience store next door, a few local food places and a shopping centre very close by. Also only about a 20 minute walk / short tram ride to the peace park etc. We arrived at 2.45pm, with a check-in time of 3pm. First time I've ever been told to wait […] when arriving 15 minutes early for check-in. At first I thought it may have been due to cleaning our rooms, but then I noticed everyone checking in that day was waiting as they just don't accept check-ins until 3pm. After we waited until exactly 3pm, we were checked in and the room was nice, although a little tiny. Only just enough space to put luggage, and this resulted in not being able to access the fridge. But it had a decent sized desk and a nice sized, comfortable bed. Bathroom was your standard cheap Japanese hotel bathroom, but that's just fine. Hiroshima is a nice city that you can view in a day, so you only need to stay one night. This hotel was fine for that and at a cost about $50AUD, was a decent deal. "Hotel is fine, staff not so nice"
We stayed here for just one night. The hotel is fine - typical of many others in that it is neat and tidy, well serviced. It's tiny by western standards but most are so that's just part of visiting a very populated country. Pretty vlose to everything. Our only complaint was that the staff were particularly unfriendly and unhelpful here compared to […] all the other hotels we stayed in. Not a deal breaker but not nice all the same. Also they don't have wifi. They have in-room Internet but it is cable only - my friend had a mac book air and the cord was too outdated for her laptop. If u do stay here I recommend getting a taxi from Hiroshima rather than bothering with the streetcar which is trickier than the subway in other towns - it was only Y700 to and from the station and the drivers knew the hotel. "Everything you need really"
We had a semidouble which was a bit small but the room was extremely well designed in terms of making use of the little space. I stayed in a single room at the hotel while visiting Hiroshima, and the whole experience was really great. The room was clean, tidy and welcoming. "Nice hotel but internet system a big letdown"
We booked here as the hostels and guesthouse were all full. The price was excellent, the facilities fine. Our one problem was internet as we rely on this to booked onwards accommodation and transportation, and i had assumed this would be a non-issue staying in an hotel like Chisun. However, after being given a server to plug in (and instructions in […] Japanese only) and after tinkering for an hour, getting the night porter etc, we failed to get it working for either of out smart phones or my laptop. good, clean and value for money. especially good if you venture out to explore most of the time and only use the room for sleeping like we did.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was really conveniently located, a few steps from the streetcar stop, and a short walk from the main shopping district! "Great location, comfortable and clean"
Stayed in a double room which was small by way of western standards but normal for Japanese hotels rooms. It was comfortable and very clean. The location was fantastic as the hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to all the shopping, restaurants and bars. There is a tram stop right out the front that takes you there or back to the station. To get to peace […] park it's about 10 minutes on the tram or you could easily walk it in 20 minutes. From e railway station to the hotel the tram ride is about 8 minutes. The staff speak enough English to answer any questions you may have. I really enjoyed my stay here and definitely recommend it. "A very cost effective centrally located hotel"
The semi double room was one of the smallest we had during our month long trip to Japan. It was very clean. Hotel staff was very kind and always willing to help with our requests. "Well situated, great for sightseeing Hiroshima"
The hotel was up to the usual standards of Japanese cleanliness and service which is excellent. The room (Standard Twin) was small (especially the bathroom, which couldn't have been much over 2 square meters), and whilst not unusual for Japan, it would make longer stays a little challenging after a while. We stayed in three Chisun hotels during our travels in Japan, and this was the best! All the sights are close by. There is a tram station and bus stop right in front of the hotel, both of which go to Hiroshima station. Our room was very clean and recently refurbished.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is walking distance from most things, most importantly the airport shuttle, the memorial peace park, Mazda Stadium and several other tourist attractions. Not the biggest room ever but for the price - it's a bargain. We paid more for less elsewhere. Also it's got a laundry room, is next to a little 7-11 style shop and opposite the tram stop.Genuine Expedia guest review

The whole experience was excellent.Pleasant room with good facilities (hair-drier, hot water heater etc. but provide your own coffee). We were very impressed with the service, Whilst checking in, we had asked about leaving our bags whilst we explored Hiroshima the next day.
