I want to start out with the positives we pulled up to a beautiful hotel and location and room were perfect, friendly staff and couldn't have ask for more.. Then at 5:00 am in the morning I awake to barking that went on until 8:30 am non stop not just your usual little bark but the kind you hear when a dog is in distress or has to go outside so I had to call front desk, they were very polite but the barking continued so we decided to leave.. Just to reach elevator and have a guy with dog getting off elevator and ask if we could get back so he could come through because his dog was aggressive and might bite.. Really!!! Why would a hotel allow any of this and what would one do if that dog would have bitten someone or a child for goodness sake..and yes we are animal lovers at one time we had 3 dogs and a diabetic cat but to take your animals anywhere and neglect them or take the risk of them harming someone was never an option or a risk we would take.. We love you Marriot but you will have to clean up this dog park or we won't be back.

I've stayed here a few times while in Paducha and have always been happy with my stay. It's a dog friendly place that is very clean. It has nice outdoor areas, is spacious and easy to access outdoor areas with a dog. The complimentary breakfast was good. I don't remember other complimentary services happening in the evening but I may have just missed this. Usually Residence Inn's have something a few times a week depending on the location. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming.

The Marriott hotel chain is a well practiced, well run organization. I have always enjoyed their extra expertise and level of care. This Inn was typical Marriott. We have friends in southern Illinois and set this up as our place to stay when visiting them. It is comfortable and about an hour from our friends home. Staying here gets us an hour further south when we head home plus its the only Residence Inn that fits us. I should also say we only stay Marriott unless there are none. Its just safer from any stand point.

Late check-in: Friendly, efficient staff got us quickly checked in. The Internet request for a handicapped room had been overlooked, but they quickly upgraded my mother to a handicapped suite at no extra charge. We asked for a luggage cart, but after searching all of the floors there were non to be found, so they grabbed our luggage and carried it upstairs. We were so touched! The rooms: Clean, amply supplied kitchen. Comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Slight negative in the ants making a beeline for the candy dish, filled with wrapped candies on the coffee table, in the handicapped room. Also, my recliner in the living room was showing wear, but everything else looked fresh. Getting there: My GPS freaked out, but just turn at the BOB EVANS RESTAURANT and you'll find it. Exercise Room: Great basic equipment in good condition. Most comfortable bike that I have used. Also free weights, treadmill, and balance balls all help to work the travel kinks out. Breakfast: Ample, hotel fare. Mother loved the fresh oatmeal with assorted toppings. Lovely fresh fruit was also available. Very comfortable stay and we will definitely stop here on our next trip to the area.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was one of the better ones. Eggs were not dried out like many others. No coffee after breakfast closes. That was disappointing. Staff was cordial but not very attentive to front desk.

I really don't know what else to add to all the other reviews. This RI definitely deserves the high ratings. You can trust the 95% thumbs up. It is one of the most beautiful properties I've see at an interstate exit. Typically hotels that look like this would be in more of a vacation spot. When you walk in it is so welcoming and inviting. It looks brand new -- the carpets and the hallway walls look barely used. The staff was friendly, but there were several times when we were in and out that there was no one at the front desk. My only gripe is a minor one. Even though the hotel seems new, the TV in our room was an older TV that had a cover put on it to fit an HD screen. The picture was very fuzzy. The other Marriott properties we stayed in on our trip had larger and newer TV's. If you're don't plan to spend time in the room, it's no big deal, but if you're wanting to relax and watch something after a long day on the road, it's kind of a disappointment.
"Great experience in Paducah!"

This hotel deserves an excellent rating. It is well maintained, located in a quiet and safe area yet conveniently close to the I-24 and the mall with its numerous stores and restaurants. The studio room I had was very adequate with full size appliances, more than enough pots, pans and cutlery as well as a large comfortable bed. Breakfast and the meals at the evening social hour were delicious and all of a higher nutritional quality than is provided at most other similar hotels. But what really sets this property apart from the others is its wonderful and caring staff. The manager, Amanda, sets the tone with her special brand of leadership resulting in every staff member being efficient, courteous, caring and kind to all the guests, included the four-legged ones!! There were some unexpected occurrences during my 5 week stay. Any one of these could have caused significant disruption to the guests had it not been for the kindness and compassionate caring of the staff. Whether it was a request for something special at breakfast, someone running a little late for the evening social, printing double-sided copies of important documents, an air conditioner malfunction or, as in my case, a blown front tire on my rental car with difficulties to get a replacement, nothing was ever too much to ask of Amanda's staff. They would unhesitatingly spring into action converting a potential "disaster" to a positive event. Whether it was Lori, Erin, Brandi or Jason at the Front Desk; Trisha, Emily, Amy, Tony and Don in the Kitchen; Sandy and her Housekeeping staff (especially Wanda and Leanda who took special care with my room) or the guys in Maintenance, the attitude was always to help each and every guest have the best experience possible. Kudos to Amanda and her entire staff for not only meeting but, indeed, surpassing my expectations. Keep up the great job you are all doing. Whenever I need to stay at a hotel in the Paducah, KY area I certainly hope you have room for this very grateful guest! Thank you so very much for everything you did to make my recent stay as wonderful as it was.

This was a typical Residence Inn. Very clean and comfortable and a great place for an extended stay. We only stayed one night, but found the accommodations quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Residence Inn.
"Naturally above and beyond"

As an extend stay guest I could not be happier. Everyone from housekeeping to maintenance and front desk services is amazing. The true professional behavior is a direct reflection of the management staff. Amanda makes things happen, Erin is the puppet master and keeps the flow moving with out missing a beat. Laurie will give the shirt off of her back (if you need one) to make your stay that much better and Angie is a true sweet heart who makes her guest feel at home after a long day of work with a warm welcome as you come through the main entrance. The small things are what really count, such as keeping the manager’s social hour open longer than scheduled to accommodate guest arrivals. Jimmy, the maintenance engineer went out of his way to hand craft a furniture item, to make my stay better. Brandi knows her food and can recommend a great place to eat. The night auditors, Courtney and Jason will even go out of there way to make breakfast sandwiches for those who are early risers and have to be at work before breakfast stars. The housekeeping staff is great, everything from a refreshed room to the special folds in the tissue paper. If you are in town for business or want to get away from the kids and you are in the western KY, southern IL area this is the place to go. The location is perfect, very close to dining, and the highway. The beds are not you typical hotel beds where your back hurts in the a.m. You will definately get a good nights sleep on them. There is a reason why the parking lot is completly packed at night, they are sold out. This is the hotel that all the other hotels want to be like in Paducha.
"The best experience EVER!"

This is an excellent place for your family (including the fur family)! All of the staff are wonderful from the time you check in to the time you check out and further on. My family and I felt like a part of the staff's family. They cared for us the way they would care for their own family. Our pets even felt welcome! If you are dislocated or just passing through, this is a great place to collect your thoughts and pull yourself together. Laurie, Brandi, Angie, Erin, Courtney, and Jason all work the front desk at different times and are the best!
