Super stay at Royal Wells hotel in Tunbridge Wells
Hotel is very recently renovated and in outstanding condition, public spaces and rooms. We had a premium room which was spacious and beautifully furnished/decorated. We also ate in the restaurant and had excellent food. Would strongly recommend to others

Very Good
Friendly, very efficient staff in all departments at this town centre hotel in busy central south east England town. Age of building understandably led to our standard double room being a bit on the small size though recently decorated in fresh muted shades. En suite shower-room adequately sized. Towels and bedlinen of good quality befitting the room rate charged. Breakfast included was really excellent - interestingly varied dishes cooked to order and appetisingly presented. Dined in one evening and had a very enjoyable meal. Some interesting and unusual dishes, very tasty and of good proportion. All in all a very enjoyable two night break at this moderate (not budget) hotel which we would be very happy to repeat. Just one word to the wise. As is not surprising in a town centre location, on site parking is a bit limited and could be a bit problematic at busy periods or if functions going on at the hotel.

Value for money in good location
Good hotel, comfy beds, high quality bathrooms fittings, couldn't fault comfort. Service of an unexpectedly high calibre and good breakfast. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

A gem that needs air
I got a room on the first floor with king bed and two single bunk beds and bathroom for someone with physical disability (it was enormous with double shower). The bed was excellent, room spacious, service generally excellent. Far better than I expected for a 3 star hotel (19th night out of 21 on the road so I have some experience of English hotels). Only issues were the breakfast which came not cooked (raw muffin under eggs benedict) one morning and burnt (salmon and scrambled eggs) one morning and perfect one morning out of three. The room needs aircon or a fan. I slept with the small window open but there wasn't a lot of air circulating and it was stuffy.
