Staff was helpfull, we had a special request they were able to help with. would have been nice to have a free breakfast but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was easy to find and get to.

Christine is so awesome at this hotel, she is the consistent one who remembers us when she sees us! We stay at this hotel quite frequently and since management has changed over its definitely different. Matt was a great hotel manager, he will be missed.

Check in was quick, everything in the room worked, furniture was clean and new. Internet access was included and was fast. The hotel sits on the Mercer campus inside the gate right next to where the new football stadium is being built. The adjustable air beds were a nice surprise. Next time I'm in Macon, I'm going to stay here.

I have been staying at this hotel for 3 years now for sporting events at the college near by and since the previous hotel mananger, Matt ,left this hotel a few months ago, it has gone downhill...the new management doesnt care near the amount that Matt did about the hotel guests. Too bad because its very convenient place to stay. :(

The service was exemplery; the milk was sour at breakfast; otherwise the breakfast food was very well prepared and fresh; could have used more fruit; should also have a menu that allows health conscious people to dine without haveing to eat an all you can eat buffet of fried foods.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in town for a friend's wedding in Macon. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a suite, which was nice. We usually stay in places that are a little more upscale, but there aren't a whole lot of options in Macon. This hotel was perfectly adequate and I have no complaints for it's price.

Hotel was excellent Access at night was difficult to find being unfamiliar with area...not well marked. Room comfortable and clean...hallway noise with doors closing rather loud. Breakfast very good but not free. Front desk staff very helpful

My family and myself attended my grandaunts 90th birthday party. We stayed at the hotel for convenience. The morning breakfast buffet was great! The staff was very attentive and nice. The hotel was outside of my alma mater. I will patronize the hotel in the future.

Nice place; would recommend. Rooms very clean & really comfy. Free cookies and newspapers at the front desk. Coffee makers, microwaves, and refrigerators in rooms. Free wi-fi in rooms, but I could not connect at all, I have no idea why. Check-in was prompt and courteous. Any extras i.e. roll away bed, extra towels, were brought to the room within minutes after calling the front desk. Extremely convenient to Mercer University Macon campus. Very clean. Comfortable beds.

You can't ask for a hotel to be any closer to where you need to be! In our case, we had business at Mercer University, and the hotel is basically on campus. It has the added benefit of being a very nice hotel.

This Hotel was clean, but the walls are thin and the room was extremely noisy. Every sound from the next room or floor above was crystal clear. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. Thank God I only had to stay one night!

The hotel building is relatively new and has all the amenities you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. The location was good for us, as it was not far from a wedding we had to attend that weekend. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The competency of some of the hotel staff was another story. At 6:30am my boyfriend called the front […] desk to get us a taxi by 7:00am to reach our destination (only 2 miles away) by 7:30am. The woman assured us that we would. We went down to the lobby at 6:50am and waited for the cab. By 7:05, the cab still hadn't arrived, so we inquired at the front desk. Turns out, they had never called the cab!!! The woman called the cab then, which ended up breaking down, and then another taxi had to be hailed. We ended up missing the bus we were supposed to get on to visit family, had to arrange alternate transport and were hours late for our family event. We called the hotel manager to complain, but she only apologized and said that there was nothing they could do. I have never had a problem with the Hilton or their customer service, but I must say that I am very disappointed. Read more
