We were in MB to see a Band at the House of Blues. It was possible to be at the Hotel and walk to everything we needed or wanted to do. Very Nice! The hotel was a surprisingly great location and value. Wonderful room and grounds/beach, etc. Hopefully the next visit to the HOB and Ocean Creek Resort will be as nice as this first visit.

Great place, near local attractions, a stroll to beach. Room was clean, breakfast was very good, I will absolutely go back there. Hard and Clay tennis courts, nice putting green, screened in patios for all rooms, pools outdoor and indoor. Really relaxing!

Location is outstanding for any of the above--it's right across the street. Our room had a large screened in porch, too, looking out to a well maintained lawn with lots and lots of trees.

This hotel...although in a great location was not at all what I expected. It was more of a lodge than a hotel. Our room needed a major makeover! We rented a 2 room (so I thought) partial view. We get to the room me and my fiance shared the same room as our daughter. We wanted a private SEPARATE room. The kitchen was too small and right next to the bed. We had to walk at least a mile to the beach and the indoor and outdoor pool needed maitenance. We will not stay here again.

We thought we were staying at a hotel but it was much more like a condo than a hotel. Was very comfortable with the full living area, eating area and kitchen. Loved the double bathrooms sharing one shower. Very convenient location, right across from Barefoot Landing. Nice Tiki Bar by the beach. Would definitely reccommend or stay again.

I had a suite with a full kitchen, which was a little more than I needed for a two day business trip. What bothered me about this room was the awful musty smell. The linens on the bed and in the bath were old and threadbare. But what bothered me the most about this place was I found a bug crawling across my nightstand-not a cricket or a spider, but a food pest bug, like a baby cockroach. Disgusting. I slept all covered up with shorts and t-shirt. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I ended up leaving a day early and heading somewhere else. This place was like staying at someone's old old beach house.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The area of the resort is very nice, however, our room was very old and carpet and bathroom was dirty. We stayed in the Lodge Villas, so maybe the Towers are much nicer and maybe there are some nice villas. This resort looks like it was once thriving, but it needs some renovation.

We had a great trip and the resort was one of the most relaxing places I have stayed at. The room was clean, the staff was great, and a great location to get away from all the noise. The only thing that could have been better is an indoor pool since the weather was not all that great. Other than that, I would definately go back.

This hotel was clean and very quite. Parking was never an issue and the staff was very friendly. Barefoot Landing is right across the street and is a great way to spend an afternoon. The only down side to this hotel is that its a somewhat significant walk down to the beach. However, once on the beach it was not over crowded and was very relaxing.

We arrived late and was very disappointed in the appearance of our room. Nice accommodations. However, the room had not been cleaned after the last guest checked out. Carpet had not been vaccumed and the alarm on the oven was blasting and the linens had not been changed. Also, the dishwasher was stacked with dirty dishes. Much different than our last stay at this resort.

It felt safe in a gated community and was near restaurants and attractions. very close to a good outlet mall. room was clean, comfortable and quiet. no complaints. when we booked the room we were told we would get a free breakfast in the hotel cafe, but when we went to get it we were told we did not qualify for the breakfast. That was our only problem. overall it was a good value for the money.

The hotel was very easy to get to, and the location was nice if you are looking for a quieter section of the beach. Some of what we read was misleading unfortunately. We thought that the breakfast was included with an overnight stay, but this is not the case for all rooms. Also, this is a resort and so our room was not very close to the beach at all. It was about a 5-8 minute walk to get to the beach. Overall, for the money, it was a quiet place to stay with an enclosed balcony and spacious rooms.

My only suggestion would be for the staff to inspect room's prior to arrivals...our sliding glass door did not close all the way, nor would it lock ! It was not a problem being moved to another room, but that could have been prevented... great breakfast every morning...love the feel of, not being at a concrete resort !
