I've stayed at this hotel before and really enjoyed it. I banked on the evening meal (with complimentay beer and wine) and the fact that we would have separate rooms for a little privacy. Well, the dinner is only Sun - Thurs and the suite ended up being a "studio suite" so I wished I would have gone with a different choice (others in the area are closer […] to Broadway and have indoor pools). Nonetheless, the staff was pleasant, the room was clean and had all the "in-home" ammenities. Location is decent with about a ten minute walk to the stores and bars on Broadway. I was VERY unhappy about the parking situation. There is no connected parking, so your options are $24 valet or $12 daily rate for self-parking. We chose to self-park (you have to chose at check-in) and were shocked to learn that the garage is three blocks away from the hotel and looked sheisty (both the garage and the attendants). There were other parking lots across the street for $5! That was a total waste. Also, the breakfast was much better than a continental, but did not offer all it had in my last stay (such as the waffle maker). Read more

Came to Nashville for first time to see all the sites. Enjoyed walking everywhere we wanted to go. So nice to park the car and enjoy the city whether we were going to find a spot to eat, a bar to enjoy the music, or a little shop to find a piece of Nashville to take home. The breakfast buffet and Miguel at checkout were both great. The layout of the room is terrible for using the foldout couch as a second bed. The springs on the foldout couch were several years past their prime. We had a wonderful view of the parking garage next door. The air conditioner was relatively quiet compared to some I have seen and heard.

The hotel was in a very good location, within walking distance to Broadway. The rooms themselves are like mini apartments with a full fridge, stove, microwave, etc. The free breakfast, while not the most variety was still a great plus and had a few hot options along with the standard cold items. The parking is a little tricky. The best advice I can […] give is to just pull up to the valet area. If you want a cheaper rate with a little bit of a walk, then tell the guy you just want to self park. They'll let you temporarily park next to the building to go check in and pay for the self parking. You will get directions to their structure two blocks away and a ticket to take with you to leave on your dash. Of course you could let them park it for double. The lobby area near the elevators had a sewer smell, but this was about the only thing I could find wrong with the place. Had a pleasant stay otherwise. The Yazoo Brewery tour was fun, be sure to check that place out on a Saturday if you can. Read more

I never stayed at a Homewood Suite before and was a little put off by the 3 star rating, but realized as soon as I stepped foot into the place that the 4.4 guest star rating was more accurate. Stayed three nights. The room was very large and clean, friendly staff, location and neighborhood were perfect, amenities plentiful and price just right!

In the main entrance and on the elevators it seemed to smell like sewage. Rooms were nice and clean but the toilet was broken. Location was close to Broadway which was 2 blocks but outside the hotel there were quite a few homeless people in the direct vicinity.

The entrance is hard to find. If you choose self parking instead of their valet ($20 per night) it's a nightmare. They said it's the parking garage on 6th. They didn't say which one. There are 5 of them and we had to go to each one to figure out where we needed to be. After driving 13 hrs and it being 11:30 pm it was the last thing we wanted to do. […] Then we had to carry our stuff several blocks because there is nowhere to pull up in front of the hotel to unload. On top of that the guy who checked me in said that the pet fee was refundable. Upon checkout it wasn't. Beware! Also, there isn't any green space for your pets. You have to walk them a few blocks to a very small park where the homeless hang out. I was bombarded by them to pet my dogs and felt very uncomfortable since I was by myself. I suggest not going alone. The room was comfortable, but the staff was rude. I guess this place wouldn't be bad if you didn't have pets and if you valet parked. Read more

The neighborhood had a lot of homeless people around, so I didn't feel very safe walking around. But the room was very nice, and it was great having all of the amenities of the suite. Also ate at Morton's right next door, which was fabulous!

Great hotel, great staff. Room was clean and cozy. We were on the 6th floor and were surprised at the noise level from the street and activities outside. Parking was next door in a pay lot. :( However our experience overall was great!

I feel the hotel is understaffed and the staff is undertrained. I reserved a suite w/a sofabed and there were armchairs in our room. It took forever to change rooms. And I asked if the sofabed was made us and they said the stuff is in the closet. I've never had that happen before. While sleeping we were awakened by the loudness of the refrigerator, […] which contained nothing, so we unplugged it. The Homewood Suites is a great place to stay. It is close to the arena, Broadway, Printer's Alley and convention center. Even the stadium is within walking distance by taking the pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River. While they do offer valet parking, there are several parking garages and open air lots nearby if you prefer to self park. The […] room was quiet and nicely appointed. It had a full size refrigerator, d/w, microwave and cooktop. The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast that was well stocked. We found the staff to be friendly and efficient. An added plus was the complimentary meal provided in the evening Monday through Thursday. The layout is a bit different in terms of where the lobby is in relation to the front door. Overall hotel experience was very good. The room was comfortable with plenty of room for two adults and one child. The staff was extremely accomodating. The only issue we encountered was waiting on our car for valet parking. There was only one person working on Saturday evening and the wait was over 30 minutes.

The location was great because you only had to walk about 5 minutes and you were right in the heart of all the action of Nashville. We got breakfast and dinner included in our stay price.
