Nice, fairly new and affordable place with a great location, a block and a half from 16th Street Mall (and free Mallride). Welton, the street, is practically in the middle of the mallride, halfway between the State Capitol/Museums and Larimer Square/Coors Field/Union Station. Common areas are limited, although I did not have the chance to check out the onsite restaurant. My window view was of the interior ceiling (a minus) but the view was made up for very comfortable beds and linens (including pillows), a flatscreen TV with some HD channels, and complimentary wifi. Bathrooms are nice with granite sinks and modern tub/shower. They let me store my bags when I checked in early 9AM, and again when I had a late flight after checkout. They even gave me a different room key for the business center, which was nicely outfitted with two computers, printers, some books, notepads/pens, and ATM. Read more

I wish you would offer room service with healthy options all day and not just have the restaurant open for breakfast. We were there for a fitness competition and my fiancé forgot his oats and wanted to just order plain oatmeal and didn't want to go down to a whole oatmeal bar in the restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms were quite and clean allowing for a pleasant stay. The hotel is in the prime location for any tourists in Denver, set in the heart of downtown, only 2 blocks away from 16th street mall. An overall lovely experience!

I loved the bus system up and down 16th Avenue. Hotel is just 2 blocks from pedestrian mall. Loved being able to walk to the capital, art museum and shops on 16th. Hotel was clean with friendly staff at check in and check out. The food in the hotel dining room was average at best but with so many restaurants nearby it wasn't an issue.

We stayed here one night celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday. It was easy to find and convenient to the 16th Street Mall. When we checked in, the staff was very professional and inquired about the reason for our stay. I informed them it was a birthday celebration. The hotel was beautiful and in a prime location. The hotel page states that there is self-parking available and does not mention a fee for parking. We arrived to find out that self-parking was not an option and that it was a fee of $29 to pay a valet.

Attended a conference on my own, felt very safe walking around at night by myself, great location and very friendly staff! Great location for convention center. Staff was wonderful and friendly. My flight arrived early so they put a rush on my room so I could check in early. Even with 4 or more different conferences going on at the convention center, the staff was helpful and they hotel was accomodating. When we arrived I was not prepared to have the car valet parked. I was traveling with 2 small children and our stuff was everywhere. The valet dept could not find us a luggage cart so one offered to help me all our loose shopping bags/luggage up to our room with me. However, I was a bit put out by the fact that I had to unload all this myself and without […] a luggage cart. The front desk clerk was not very understanding of the fact that I was traveling with 2 small children alone, and didn't offer any personal suggestions when I asked about dining suggestions close for me and the kids (she pushed the in-house asian restaurant - not kid-friendly!) We ended up walking the 2 1/2 blocks to Subway on the 16th street mall. One of my prime reasons for selecting this hotel was for the pool/spa. The kids wanted to swim. We were very disappointed with the pool....their lips were turning PURPLE as the water temperature was below average and "FREEZING". The hot tub was nice enough for them because it felt like bathwater. The breakfast was wonderful and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to friends traveling without children wanting to explore the downtown area. The rooms were clean and nice. I would not take small children back to this property. We were very impressed with the hotel and it's amenities. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The location was within walking distance to Larimer Square, 16th St. Mall and the Convention Center. It was a quick cab drive other places we wanted to go. The $28/night parking fee was a […] little steep but the alternative of leaving your car overnight in an unguarded lot was worth the peace of mind. We were glad there was a Dazbog coffee shop off the lobby but the only time we wanted to use it the place had a sign on the door that said 'be right back' so we had to use the restaraunt for our morning coffee and pastry. Also We liked our room, the staff, the facility--the only drawback was the cost of parking your car so we chose not to get a rental car until we were ready to leave town. We were able to use public transportation for everywhere we wanted to go that we couldn't walk […] to.
