"The Forum Motor Inn in Ocean City, N.J."
This Motor Inn was what I expected it to be. The location was great. I recommend it to families with children because of the close walk to the beach and boardwalk. The pool was great too. The rooms are standard and clean. The staff was pleasant. I would go and stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Forum Motor Inn - Great Place"
I really loved this hotel. We usually stay at the Knolls Resort Motel in Wildwood, but this place was much nicer (both city and hotel). The rooms look exactly like the picture, the hotel staff was very accomodating, and they provided us with two free beach tags! It's very close to the bus depot and the boardwalk. The only downsides were the lack of […] a coffee machine, and the tub drained slowly. I would definitely stay again, maybe even next year. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"One night stay."
I came here with my boyfriend for his birthday for a one night romantic getaway. We felt the room was very nice and the beds were clean and comfortable. We really liked the balcony we had because it felt more private. The location was perfect and the area is as always beautiful and the people working at Forum were cheerful and polite. I would definitely […] recommend this place to anyone looking for a close comfortable place to stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice clean hotel. We stopped for couple nights to relax and swim in the ocean. Neat great customer service. Room was clean had fridge and microwave. Nothing to complaint about. 3 minutes walk from the beach and boardwalk. Ocean City is a dry town. It is best place to be kids but for adults only tge attraction was ocean. Price on food better in the city […] or even hotels restaurant. I would recomend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Gesamturteil: NajaGenuine Expedia guest review
"Review of Forum Motor Lodge in Ocean City New Jersey"

I have stayed at this particular hotel for 3 summers and I have been totally impressed with the accominations, pool, cafe, parking, and staff. Holly, Merideth, and the other gentlemen at the front desk as well as the house keepers are excellent at their jobs and they are always friendly, professional, and willing to do whatever the customer needs. They don't just preach customer satisfaction- they live it. All the staff members greet me with a smile and a hello. This is a first-rate hotel in every sense. The prices are always very reasonable.
"Good Affordable Option for OCNJ"

Stayed for 2 nights last week of June. Needed a hotel with pool for a quick getaway to the shore before the rush of peak season. People at the front desk were nice, friendly, and welcoming. Check in was quick and room was ready when we arrived. Carpet was clean, bedding was clean. Looked like new comforters no stains or dirt. Beds are firm. We like a firm bed so it was to our preference. The pillows are flat either bring one or double them up. The room is not the latest and greatest decor trend that you would find in a luxury hotel but it is still comfortable. The pool was clean. It is not heated so being early in the season it was cold but we were hot after riding bikes that morning on the boardwalk so it can be refreshing. Depends on personal preference. I felt the price was about right for amenties provided and location. I don't think I would pay peak season prices to stay here however, not sure I would ever pay peak season prices for any type of accomodations at the south Jersey beaches. The location is excellent! On 8th St about 2 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. The amusement rides are a short walk and Manco's and Manco's is right at the entrance to the boards. Varsity is across the street and has excellent breakfast. There is a cafe onsite for convenience but we have our favorite spots that we always like to hit while in town so we did not try there. Hobby Horse ice cream is on the corner across the street and it is delicious must try for evening snack. Bike rentals are also across the street.

We have been coming to the Forum for a long time in June before the prices explode. (We are on a fixed income :). Great service and greater owners. Love it here. 1 block to the beach & a central location.

We have gone to the Forum almost every year for the last 10 years and they never disappoint. Close to the beach/boardwalk with a restaurant on site that now serves poolside. A great respite after a long day at the beach
"We Love Staying at the Forum!"

We just returned from our annual OCNJ vacation and stayed at the Forum for the third time. This motel is a true gem and a flashback to an earlier time. Despite the age of this property, it is beautifully maintained and as clean a place as I've ever stayed. We met all three siblings, who are second generation owners of the Forum, and they all place a high priority on service. As noted by others, the mattresses are a bit firm, although that is to my liking. The on-site cafe is wonderfully convenient and will even deliver lunch to you poolside! The location is perfect; just one block from the boardwalk. We started each day at the Ocean City Bicycle Center, located just across the street. When we returned, housekeeping always had readied our room. My only complaint would be the very narrow parking stalls. They are way too small for most vehicles. We look forward to staying at the Forum and hope to do so for many years. Great place.

My family had a wonderful stay at this motel. It offered everything a motel should. Mini fridge, microwave, good location, comfy beds & clean. Oh, and don't forget the pool. If you need someplace clean to lay your head down after a long day at the beach, this is it!

Spent a few days here in August. Great hotel, convenient location, One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. Close to the boardwalk and the beach. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pool is wonderful. On site restaurant will provide pool side service. Nothing like starting of your vacation with a cool strawberry smoothie by the pool! Can't wait for next year!

We've stayed at this hotel twice over the years and we always leave satisfied. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating and this is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. It is located a block from the ocean and we stayed in room 204, which has a view of the street facing the ocean. The balcony is nice. The room itself is big enough, but we found the bathroom a little cramped. The soundproofing could be better as there was a lot of noise from the street and also people in the hallway. Parking could be an issue as the spaces are narrow and limited. You may have to park 3-deep and leave your keys at the desk, but this wa not bothersome for us. The maid service is excellent and really unobtrusive. You can go out for an hour for breakast and come back to a spotless room. I definitely would stay again and there are lots of eating places within walking distance.
"Wonderful place to stay in Ocean City! Best so far!"
08/14/13 LHThomas Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
My family and I have been visiting Ocean City, NJ for over 25 years and our stay at the Forum this past weekend has been the best overall. Our (free!) parking spot was literally right outside our room. Although it looks very crowded, the staff will hold your keys and move your car for you if they have to shift things around, so no hassle for guests. We asked for two rooms and we got them, complete with inside adjoining door. The rooms were clean (above average), everything was in working order, A/C was comfy, so were the beds; the staff was courteous and helpful, the pool is very clean and comfortable and you could always get a lounge chair even at the busiest times. Internet works but is slow unless you purchase a faster bandwidth for $3/day. They have a nice cafe with 10% off for guests and the best deal in town -- 2 sandwiches, each with fries and a drink, for just 12!! The kids loved their upstairs game room, which is helpful also on bad weather days. Only one block from the beach! We were only here for a couple of days but it felt like a real vacation.
"Always a great stay"

I grew up staying at the Forum. It has been 9 years since I stayed here. They have spruced up the rooms a bit. Some things are still a little dated but it is still a nice stay. The owners have been the same as long as I remember and they are all wonderful. They bend over backwards to help our family every time we have stayed there. I do hope that they upgrade their pillows and mattresses. I had a little difficulty sleeping because the pillows were not great and the A/C fan does not stay on all night so when it kicks off I can hear the traffic and people going by. I was on 1st fl along the street so I did expect a little noise. There was a nice balcony also. It was very hard to open our door with the key but I think they are in the process of changing door knobs/locks. The cleaning staff was wonderful and courteous. The pool was only open until 6pm, which is a bummer. The hotel is only a block from the beach and they have tags available at front desk. My car broke down on the way and I almost needed to stay another night. The front desk worked with me to hold my room for another night if I needed it. Overall, I recommend the Forum to everyone. Just the fact that the owners/management are such great people and helpful is a big selling point. Be sure to eat at The Varsity Inn up the street. Excellent food! Thre is also a small restaurant on site which is so-so.
