"Friendly staff and very convenient !"
I recently stayed here with my two children and their grandmother. My husband was unable to come due to work so convenience was very important to us. The room was very clean and everything was at our fingertips. The pool was nice and there is a cafe where you can get breakfast and lunch. The food was very good. The thing that impressed us the most was […] how friendly the staff was to us and how they made the experience very enjoyable. We would definitely go back ! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Forum Motor Inn- good family choice"
Conveniently located to all the boardwalk attractions & beach. We enjoyed the pool. Parking is a bit tight but the front desk is helpful in pointing out the various places you can park for their motel. Beach tags free for guests with $20 refundable deposit. Good breakfast place attached. Rooms are older but clean, only complaint was that mattresses […] in our room were very HARD! We left set of keys behind and management promptly mailed them back to us- thanks! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Forum Motor Inn in Ocean City, N.J."
This Motor Inn was what I expected it to be. The location was great. I recommend it to families with children because of the close walk to the beach and boardwalk. The pool was great too. The rooms are standard and clean. The staff was pleasant. I would go and stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Forum Motor Inn - Great Place"
I really loved this hotel. We usually stay at the Knolls Resort Motel in Wildwood, but this place was much nicer (both city and hotel). The rooms look exactly like the picture, the hotel staff was very accomodating, and they provided us with two free beach tags! It's very close to the bus depot and the boardwalk. The only downsides were the lack of […] a coffee machine, and the tub drained slowly. I would definitely stay again, maybe even next year. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice clean hotel. We stopped for couple nights to relax and swim in the ocean. Neat great customer service. Room was clean had fridge and microwave. Nothing to complaint about. 3 minutes walk from the beach and boardwalk. Ocean City is a dry town. It is best place to be kids but for adults only tge attraction was ocean. Price on food better in the city […] or even hotels restaurant. I would recomend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Gesamturteil: NajaGenuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, well run Motel."

My husband and I stayed for three nights last week for the first time. The staff at the front desk is very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a King room on the third floor. The woman who booked our stay said this would be private and quiet, and it was. The beds are VERY comfortable. The bathroom is small, but clean and a nice shower pressure. The Motel is very convenient to the beach and and ice cream parlor and breakfast spots. My complaint is that the rooms are dark ( need more lights or brighter light bulbs) and we had some trouble with the internet service. We did get on, but it was slow and bumped me off sometimes. It may be worth paying for an upgraded service and see if the internet works better. I think the fee would be $3.00 per day for upgraded service. The pool was nice . The restaurant below the hotel will bring you food/drinks out to the pool area. Kind of makes it feel like you are at a resort! For the money, this place is very good.
"Convenient Family run hotel"

The rooms were very clean with a closet and room for luggage. We also asked for a rollaway bed which was provided at no extra fee. There was a cafe attached to the hotel which was very convenient and also provided food to go. Later in the day, I saw they provided poolside service. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave that was placed on a stand so you had to bend over to reach it. But I was glad to have the refrigerator. The room had two entrances - one to the balcony over the pool and another to an inside corridor. ( I like being able to enter my room from the inside- most OC motels only have an outside entrance) I was surprised that we didn't hear much noise even though we were in the end room by the elevator, ice machine and stairs and a busy street. The motel is centrally located- go one direction for the Asbury Avenue shopping and more importantly only a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The Forum provided two beach tags. It was fun to go to the beach and then come back to the hotel and still go swimming in the pool. Although we had a regular room they also had a limited number of suites available which would be better for a stay beyond a weekend. Each room has one parking spot (and a fee for additional cars). I found out there was also parking across the street- it was easier to get in and out of that lot. The front desk was very helpful.

We've stayed at the Forum several times over the past ten years. The fact that we returned says that we liked it. The staff was friendly and the rooms were neat and clean. The hotel is close to the beach and the downtown area. It does tend to get crowded during the summer, so plan ahead.
"Rude, Dirty, Terrible Service....this is The Forum."
07/16/14 FreddieNuendyke New York
The Forum is more than likely the most ridiculous establishment I have ever had the unfortune of staying at. The hot water is scarce, the rooms are dirty, and the service...well, the service is the worst I've ever had. The man behind the desk is hands down one of the rudest men I've ever encountered in my life. I wish I got his name to put on here but I was not looking to get to know this rude sad excuse for a man if I didn't have to. Furthermore, there were mice in the laundry area that leave pellets all over the place, the restaurant that is attached to the motel was terrible along with having an extremely rude staff. Overall, this place had gotten great reviews but I must say STAY AWAY FROM THE FORUM. It is a horrible experience and for the price you pay here (which is as much as a room in Atlantic City) you'd expect better service and a better atmosphere overall. I can't stress it enough, especially for families, stay away from this motel. It says it is kid friendly but it is the furthest thing from it. From mice roaming around to terrible service to dirty rooms, its a really truly horrid experience. Buyer beware!!
"Good place for a short visit"
07/15/14 vollmer1 Saint Marys, Pennsylvania
We needed a place for 1 night at the beach. I choose this place based solely on the ratings from tripadvisor and price. Ocean City, NJ doesn't have any chain hotels to choose from so its hard to know what you are getting into. The location is within a short (5 minute) walking distance to the beach and boardwalk and there is a little restaurant within the place. The kiddie pool is a great feature for families with smaller children. The grounds and room were VERY clean BUT everything is very narrow. The beds are not comfortable, its outdated in the rooms and bathroom (no room for anything in the bathroom) and its very noisy at night outside of the rooms. I wouldn't stay for an extended time but good for a short visit. Front desk is SUPER nice!!!!!
"Review of Forum Motor Lodge in Ocean City New Jersey"

I have stayed at this particular hotel for 3 summers and I have been totally impressed with the accominations, pool, cafe, parking, and staff. Holly, Merideth, and the other gentlemen at the front desk as well as the house keepers are excellent at their jobs and they are always friendly, professional, and willing to do whatever the customer needs. They don't just preach customer satisfaction- they live it. All the staff members greet me with a smile and a hello. This is a first-rate hotel in every sense. The prices are always very reasonable.
"Good Affordable Option for OCNJ"
07/02/14 LJB29 Quakertown, PA
Stayed for 2 nights last week of June. Needed a hotel with pool for a quick getaway to the shore before the rush of peak season. People at the front desk were nice, friendly, and welcoming. Check in was quick and room was ready when we arrived. Carpet was clean, bedding was clean. Looked like new comforters no stains or dirt. Beds are firm. We like a firm bed so it was to our preference. The pillows are flat either bring one or double them up. The room is not the latest and greatest decor trend that you would find in a luxury hotel but it is still comfortable. The pool was clean. It is not heated so being early in the season it was cold but we were hot after riding bikes that morning on the boardwalk so it can be refreshing. Depends on personal preference. I felt the price was about right for amenties provided and location. I don't think I would pay peak season prices to stay here however, not sure I would ever pay peak season prices for any type of accomodations at the south Jersey beaches. The location is excellent! On 8th St about 2 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. The amusement rides are a short walk and Manco's and Manco's is right at the entrance to the boards. Varsity is across the street and has excellent breakfast. There is a cafe onsite for convenience but we have our favorite spots that we always like to hit while in town so we did not try there. Hobby Horse ice cream is on the corner across the street and it is delicious must try for evening snack. Bike rentals are also across the street.

We have been coming to the Forum for a long time in June before the prices explode. (We are on a fixed income :). Great service and greater owners. Love it here. 1 block to the beach & a central location.
"Great Family Hotel"

We have gone to the Forum almost every year for the last 10 years and they never disappoint. Close to the beach/boardwalk with a restaurant on site that now serves poolside. A great respite after a long day at the beach
"We Love Staying at the Forum!"
09/05/13 awblenko Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
We just returned from our annual OCNJ vacation and stayed at the Forum for the third time. This motel is a true gem and a flashback to an earlier time. Despite the age of this property, it is beautifully maintained and as clean a place as I've ever stayed. We met all three siblings, who are second generation owners of the Forum, and they all place a high priority on service. As noted by others, the mattresses are a bit firm, although that is to my liking. The on-site cafe is wonderfully convenient and will even deliver lunch to you poolside! The location is perfect; just one block from the boardwalk. We started each day at the Ocean City Bicycle Center, located just across the street. When we returned, housekeeping always had readied our room. My only complaint would be the very narrow parking stalls. They are way too small for most vehicles. We look forward to staying at the Forum and hope to do so for many years. Great place.
