During our stay during the Thanksgiving holidays, we were given the option of going to another hotel to have a hot breakfast or getting a grab bag from this hotel. On Thanksgiving day we did not have any room service, guess everybody was off for the day.

The hotel was great. The beds were comfy and the indoor pool was nice. They did not have complimentary breakfast and the only thing close was a 7-11. As long as you have a car, you can go a mile or so down Powers to a Gunther Toodies.

We have stayed in the area before, but staying at this hotel was the best experience ever. We came for the Sky Sox game and the Balloon Festival. This was conveniently located for both. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Wish we had the time to spend more than just one night!

The hotel was very clean. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Maybe this hotel is too fancy for vending machines, but I was sad to not find any. They have a little convenient "store", but a drink was $3.22. This hotel is close to the airport, but that's about it. But we had a rental car and didn't mind driving everywhere.

Our group of four women booked two rooms with two queen beds in each. One room met our expectations but the second smelled like smoke. None in the group are smokers and since the hotel is non-smoking we never expected to encounter a problem. The two women booked in the smokey room were willing to move rooms, but a comparable room was not offered. Only […] a room in which one would have to sleep on a rollaway in order to have separate beds. The alternative, which our group went with, was to have staff treat the room which introduced smelly chemicals into the formula and kept the women from being able to get to sleep as they had hoped for an early airport departure. We had a great stay at this hotel; clean and comfortable rooms with a very responsive staff. It was located near the airport, which was on the other side of town from the World Arena, but well worth the few miles of a drive. I would highly recommend this location!

This was by far one of the best La Quintas I've stayed at. Only thing I didn't like was that at night the receptionist wasn't at the counter. I waited there for 15 mins for someone to come out from the back. I had to walk back up to my room, call the front desk, ask my question then go back down & get what I needed. This hotel was great. My only complaint about the room is I had a cold shower one morning. My only other suggestion would be a continental breakfast. $50 for a family of 4 is a pretty pricey breakfast!

This hotel sits very close to all the attractions of colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, yet it is away from the bustle and noise of tourist-y hotels. Front desk personnel were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant was very nice. If I had occasion to come back to the area, this would be my first choice to stay.

Overall, I had a good experience. The room was clean and provided a microwave and mini-fridge. I ate at the hotel restaurant twice during my stay and found it to be ordinary. The first night I ordered my food it came promptly and was correct. However, the second night it was late and incorrect. When I called about the delay I was told that someone had […] attempted to deliver the food and had called. Neither of these attempts happened and at room service rates my expectation is for the food and service to be above average. We paid for a two queen, non smoking room. We were given a one king room. When we asked for what we reserved, the hotel said our reservation was a request only, not a guarantee. They then put us in a two queen bed room, but it had been a smoking room and smelled of smoke, with burn marks on the furniture. Employees were nice.

The staff was friendly. The room was generally clean. The bathroom door squeeked and the tub drain was slow. We had a great view of the ductwork on the roof. The men's room had no paper towels in it and I had to mention it to an employee. On the last night of our stay, there were kids running and screaming through the halls.
