I enjoyed my stay overnite. Did not liked the change of room for the reason of having no working phone iin that room. Breakfast hour should be at 10:00AM.

"Well worth your money"
Staff was extra polite and helpful in accommodating all our needs. My sister stayed next door at The Red Roof in a smoking room and couldn't stay another night because she said it was nasty. So they brought us a cot so she could stay with us (no charge). Lobby was nice!! Everything was great except for the water pressure in the shower. Great hotel overall! Centralized location and friendly staff. One downside, no complimentary breakfast!! There is a breakfast service offered but is very expensive. There are a few fast food restaurants within walking distance that served affordable breakfast.

The Hilton Garden Inn of Corpus Christi, TX is definitely nicer than most of the beach area hotels around there. (People tend to tear up rooms in a beach town.) For this specific hotel, I expected breakfast since its appearance was that of other chain hotels ie. Ramada where you get a full hot breakfast.
"Excellent hotel"
I had been at the Hotel before for trainings and this time I booked a room for leizure. Booking the hotel through Hotels.com made the check and out of the hotel very easy. Our overall stay was excellent. The staff was very friendly. They changed our room from a room with two queen size beds to a room with a king size bed with no problems.

We were happy to know that we could get an evening meal (according to the hotel literature). Arriving back after a long day out we were informed that the "Grill" was closed and we were not happy to have to go out again to dine. "Labor Day Weekend"
Asked for a non smoking room: Room was a smoking room. 2nd day, room was not cleaned after returning from beach around 5 pm. Had to call front desk to get someone to get it cleaned 2nd day, room key would not activate. Had to go to front desk to get it reset We have stayed here before and was fine. This time was not a pleasant experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff couldn't have been better, they were friendly, professional and eager to help with anything. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious enough. Every afternoon, fresh baked cookies were available in the lobby. Also there was a small store in the lobby where you can purchase […] forgotten items as well as frozen treats. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and even ordered room service one evening. "Pretty hotel"
The hotel was very nice would recommend for adults but not very kid friendly. Room was very comfortable pool was outside which I loved. There is a dinner time at the hotel so after driving all day you can eat there and it was very reasonable.

Hotel is OK - small. The room is small but it's nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. However, the water in the shower has no pressure at all. Made to order breakfast and variety of food selection was great! Free cookies for guess after 5pm was wonderful.

1.Had 2 rsvp; given 1 non smoking room and other was smoking room when I rsvp 2 non smoking. 2. 2nd rsvp(smoking room) was upgraded 2 suite. 3. Suite had mold in bathroom shower. 4. Other room shower had no pressure and water stopped flowing while shampoo in hair. Had to get out soaking soapy wet to call front desk. They sent someone and somewhat fixed […] it. It still had no pressure but water was flowing; sink had more pressure thatn water. I really think i got the same room that the other guest got that wrote a review about the shower. 5. pool was dirty with slime. 6. "Hilton Garden in Corpus - nice beds!"
The Hilton had a very nice, large room. Good desk area and a nice chair with an ottoman. Very comfortable blankets and the best swimming pool I have ever been to at a 3-star hotel. It took about 15 minutes to get to the beach at Padre Island, but it was mostly a scenic drive. Definitely worth the price!

Stayed 4th of July- Checked in @ 3:30 Monday afternoon & checked out Tuesday morning. Apart from the trash overflowing next to the doorways outside- the hotel was very clean. The room was well cleaned & beds were very comfortable. The location is close to shopping and beach. The pool is a bit small, but we were there for the beach & did not use it. […] I was overall very pleased & would stay here again. The only con is that there is no continental breakfast. But, there is the hotel cafe on site. Downfall to that is they charg $10.00 for b-fast. Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn is a beautiful facility for the area and for the price range. The rooms had nice amenities but I didnt feel like they took very good care of us. smoking room - although we did request a NS room, one wasnt available - this is a big detractor. It would have been nice if they said so up front. shower issue - the shower wasnt […] working when we checked in; a call down to the desk didnt fix the problem - I had to personally go downstairs and ask. housekeeping - the room was cleaned but the housekeeper clearly rushed the job, forgetting to take out the trash, or replace all the towels. "Hilton Garden Inn - A nice choice for business"
A good choice for a quick business trip, with some features that make it useful for vacationers. Hotel restaurant is functional, with numerous other choices within a couple of miles. Close to padre island for a quick beach visit too.
Great hotel, great location between Corpus & Flower Bluff. Close to HEB, WalMart etc. Excellent staff & room. Family liked it as well.

I had a good time staying at this Hilton location. It wasn't far from the places one would most likely visit when at Corpus Christi. Except for a grumpy looking hotel staff who received us at the reception during our visit, I wouldn't complain much.

I had a very large room and it was clean and pleasant. It was the handicapped available room although I did not request handicapped available. The water in the shower was barely a trickle. It was very difficult to shower. I went to the front desk the next morning at 0630 and reported the shower. The front desk said they would send someone while I was […] at my conference. The next morning it was not fixed. When I was checking out, I was asked if everything was ok. I noted the condition of the shower. The front desk apologized and offered me free breakfast. This was nice, but I did not have time for breakfast and would have preferred a nice shower after a hard day's work. I will probably not stay at this hotel in the future. Read more

Hotel was good. Service was a little lacking, however, we have found Corpus Christi to be a bit laid back in general. Room was good especially for the price we paid. We ended up with a smoking room, although you could not tell so we did not complain. Breakfast was good and the service was good in the cafe. With the exception of check-in (which was a […] good experience) the rest of the front desk staff left a bit to be desired. Example - there was a large bit of water in front of the elevators and we told the front desk woman (concerned about someone slipping) who replied "I guess I can find a way to take care of that". "Hotel Staff"
Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We needed to change rooms due to being placed in a smoking room and our request was accomidated right away.
A/C - Heater thermostat would not control, it was either too cold or too hot most of the time. They lost power when we were to check out so the elevator was out of commission. Good wireless internet and the staff was very friendly and nice to deal with.

This was the second time staying at this hotel. The first time the hot tub and pool were not working or being maintained. Since I knew the location, I booked again. This stay the pool and hot tub were working and it was wonderful. The complaint I have was the room was not cleaned. Booked two nights with my friend. We left to shop and returned late afternoon […] to our room not being cleaned or no fresh towels, no bed made etc. And there was hair in the bathroom. UGH. Long black hair and my friend and I are both have short and gray hair. If the attention to detail is restored, I will stay again. The price you pay includes a certain level of service. The only downside was the cheap toilet paper - I'm not a fan of Scott tissue...seriously, that was the ONLY problem...and it wasn't much of a problem. The hotel was lovely, the freshly made breakfast so yummy! I love that they gave the room service staff the nights before and night of Thanksgiving off - that was generous and lovely. The shower was great. […] HBO didn't work (cable company is lazy-but we all know how that is!). Wireless had a bad signal, but Derek was kind enough to bring a LAN cable to my room, no probs after that. This is a very nice hotel and service lapses may have been due to reduced staffing over a holiday. However, twice during our 4-night stay our room keys didn't work because they have been incorrectly set to expire during our stay rather than at the end. Housekeeping failed to give us bath towels and it took two requests over 4 hours to get some even […] though it was morning when housekeeping staff were on site.
