The location of the hotel was perfect - central to everything. The room was small, but modern, efficient, and very clean. The staff was helpful in booking reservations and making recommendations as well. When coming back to Tokyo, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel convenient to Tokyo Station"
Excellent hotel only a minute's walk from Tokyo Station. This made it incredibly convenient for getting around the city and to/from Narita on the NEX. Our room was small but had a great view southward. We had a full view of the station platforms and tracks--some people might not enjoy that but we enjoyed watching the trains come and go. The staff was […] very friendly and helpful, showing us to our room and letting us check out a few minutes late. The room was clean and cozy; we found places for our two large suitcases but if you have more than that it could be cramped. Lots of dining is available nearby in the station or about 15 minutes away by foot in Ginza. Note that despite the hotel having Marunouchi in its name you do not want to go out of the Marunouchi exits at the station. Take the Yaesu North Gate exit and the hotel building will be 10 meters in front of you. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
A slightly overpriced hotel. Probably ideal for business trips since it is located at Tokyo Station. Rooms are spacious by Japanese standards.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

For business this hotel is in a great location. The metro and train station are downstairs. The views from the room and dinning room/bar are spectacular. The only niggle I have is that the menu was limited to fine dinning and had difficulty in accommodating simpler fare. As a result after a full day of meetings you then had to find a restaurant to have […] dinner at. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient and very nice"
This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at, even though the room was a little small, most of the building is in very good condition and looks almost new. There were amazing views as the hotel starts on the 27th floor of the building. We found the business center to be convenient because there was a printer available to use. We did not eat in the […] restaurant because it was fairly expensive, but there are a few other restaurants as well as a convenience store in the building. The building is right outside the entrance to Tokyo station which was very convenient, as there are more stores and restaurants in the station. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Right next to Tokyo station!"
Located right in front of Tokyo station. It was such a relief to know that we didn't have to travel far to get to the trains and back! Stayed here for 3 days as we visited Tokyo for the first time and we were very pleased. The staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is a bit costly, but it is expansive and has lots of Japanese and Western […] foods. It was a bit tiresome having to take two elevators just to get into the guest rooms area of the building, but we felt safe and secure in our room. Very nice bathroom and toiletries. Free wifi! Comfortable beds with more than one pillow (a rarity in Japan lodging). We will definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
From the ground entrance it was 50 steps to the right to Tokyo train station and 50 steps to the left for the Tokyo metro ! Couldn't be more convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location in the Financial District"
Like most hotels in Tokyo the rooms was small but very organized and in good condition. There are lots of drawers to stow gear. The hotel is right at the Ninhombashi exit to the Tokyo Station where the train from Narita comes in. It is also an easy place to find at any time. The problem on arrival at the train station is finding the Ninhombashi exit. […] Tokyo station is enormous. So, it would be good to get very clear directions from the hotel, as their website, is not very helpful. You can also get info from the train station website. Be aware that the train station is on many floors. Once you get near the Ninhombashi exit there are signs with the hotel's name on it but the hotel name is not prominent on the building itself. Like many hotel in Tokyo, it is the upper floors of a tall building. It does have its own elevator and once you get to the 27th floor you reach the hotel lobby. Another set of elevators takes you up to the rooms which do have great views. If you don't speak Japanese, the staff does speak English, but it is limited. The hotel is close to the Imperial Gardens which are nice to walk in. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Prime Location, Reflect What is Tokyo like"
It a pleasant stay with Marunouchi, the prime location pretty much reflect what Tokyo is about. The shopping areas, foods and the night life is just a few steps away. You can get to any other tourist spots easily through the subway and the JR, technically just downstairs of the hotel. Highly recommended.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Weekend in Tokyo"
I stayed at the hotel 2 nights. The location was perfect since I took the Narita Express train from the airport. The hotel is right next door to Tokyo Station- just make sure you get the correct exit name. The entire staff is very friendly, accommodating and professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value and location"
The hotel is elegant and the staff were very gracious and helpful. Rooms are spotless and come with a fridge, coffee/tea supplies and a safe. The hotel is in a downtown building with nice views and has a very nice restaurant and bar. It is directly across from Tokyo metro station (north entrance) and also close Otemachi metro station. There is a Starbucks […] in the building for a quick breakfast or snack. I thought this was a good value given the quality and location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "Nice business oriented Hotel"
This hotel is a business oriented hotel located right next to Tokyo Station but is fine for tourists too. The hotel is very nice with decent size rooms for downtown Tokyo. It is located in the business district so there are not many options for great restaurants or nightlife in the area but the subway is just a few short steps away to wish you off to […] Shibuya or Shinjuku. Overall the location was excellent as it is in the middle of Tokyo so you are minutes away by subway to all the major attractions. I would definitely stay there again the next time I am in Tokyo. "At Tokyo station"
Rooms are small but manageable for 2. Location is excellent for getting around tokyo, either by train or foot. Ask for south facing room and watch Shinkansen coming and going.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location but the rooms are tiny"
Great location at the Tokyo Station allows easy access to rail transportation; however, the rooms offered on Expedia are super tiny (one side of the bed faces the wall), unless one travels light (you would have trouble finding enough space for two medium-size suitecases).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Centrally located Hotel quiet and comfortable"
The hotel appears to be fairly new or recently refurbished. Rooms are comfortable, clean, well appointed and quiet. Location is great being next to the Tokyo Station making train and subway connections a breeze, especially to or from Narita. One caveat is that there are several Maruonochi buildings in the area and a Maruonchi Hotel in one of the other […] buildings. Be sure to pull a map or ask for the Sapia Tower or else you get directed to the wrong place. Only drawback to our stay was the staff while conversant in English is not always fluent in it. We were able to get the information we needed but not without some difficulty. Overall however it's great find, centrally located and reasonably priced. We'd stay there again on a return trip to Japan. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very convenient location"
In order to get a room with two beds, we had to take a smoking room, and were worried it would smell terrible, but they have a good air purifier in the room and we could not even tell the room had been used by smokers (although the hallway did smell like cigarettes). The room was very spacious and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

WONDERFUL. Hotel is literally steps from the Nihonbashi exit of Tokyo Station. And the staff are excellent. Upon check in, I asked if it was possible to have a room with a nice view. Hotel offers smoking area at 27th floor for those who needs nicotine relief. very nice view from where I stayed (30th) of Tokyo station. […] Nice amenities. "Marunouchi Hotel, Tokyo Japan"
The hotel was situated on the upper floors of a downtown high-rise building so the view of the city was fabulous. The room was small but so pretty and comfortable. It had a floor to ceiling window almost the entire width of the room. The staff were very attentive. You didn't even have to walk up to the front desk when you first arrived, the staff greeted […] you as you walked in, took your luggage and you sat in lounge chairs while they checked you in and you were then escorted to your room. There is no tipping in Japan anywhere. The hotel was next door to the main train / subway station called Central Station. There is a HUGE underground shopping plaza under the train station that has hundreds of stores and restaurants. What a treat that was however, you can get lost pretty quickly and there's not a lot of English on the maps of the stores. Back to the hotel - There was a kettle and china cups along with an assortment of teas. Newspaper daily ( in English ) There was a fridge as well and there were lots of stores around if you wanted to keep snacks in your room. The one thing that was missing was an iron and ironing board. The bathroom had a heater behind a portion of the mirror which kept it from fogging up ( a big plus when you're trying to put your makeup on. There wasn't a separate lighted mirror like in Canada/USA. This hotel had more business men and women vs families. Beautifully decorated inside with a miniature model of the city inside. I would stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Convenient location with nice view"
Stayed in Tokyo for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Japan. Chose this hotel for its close proximity to Tokyo Station as we had an early flight to catch. The hotel is located right at the north entrance of the station, but the station itself is huge and a maze to navigate through - got lost many times! The subway station (red M Line) is about a 5 […] min walk away, slower when crowded. Beautiful lobby / reception is on 27th floor and our room on the 31st (highest floor is 34). We had a city view over the rail tracks and station which is lovely at night. Trains are just barely audible if you try to listen for them. Rooms are average size for Japan, with adequate space for 2 and nicely furnished. The mattress and pillows were the most comfortable we had in Japan. The bathroom is clean but could be brighter and more modern. In-room wifi fast and stable. Overall we were impressed and satisfied - price is higher than average for reasonable for the area and the convenience it offers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

This is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel starts at floor 27, so everyone gets great views of Japan from their room. Perfect location, actually located on top of tokyo station more or less (5meters from the north exit) located on top of an office building, so excellent views all round (lowest floor was 26 which is actually where the lobby is) small rooms , but who spends much time in a room in tokyo. Overall was good to find a hotel that was reasonably priced with […] queen bed and views. Oh and the best restraunt we tried in tokyo is in this hotel. Superb location, floors 27 upwards of an office block so guaranteed a room with a view. All staff very polite & efficient. Breakfast very expensive (as usual in Japan) - 2 Starbucks in very easy reach as alternative and Dean & Delucca less than 10 minutes away for that Western food! Many Japanese places for Eastern breakfast much cheaper than hotel. Can't […] fault the hotel, easy access to N'ex & Shinkansen, hotel is attached to Tokyo station. "Great hotel for exploring Tokyo"
Superb location with exits into Tokyo JR station. Staff very helpful and even let us check in early. Only one negative we asked for a non smoking room but got a 'perfumed' smoking room. View was amazing, avoid the bar if it is full of loud western business men.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in a prime location"
Our experience at the Metropolitan Marunouchi was extremely positive.Prior to arriving, we communicated with the hotel by email to upgrade our room and everything at check-in was very smooth and efficient. The hotel is located directly on top of the main Tokyo station, close to the metro and the JR train lines; also, there are two Starbucks and a convenience […] store in the lobby. The room was extremely modern and well decorated, and our view from the corner suite King room was incredible. This hotel is definitely in the business district, so not close to many major "tourist" attractions, but within walking distance of the major shopping street (Chuo-dori), and all destinations are easily accessible by metro and train. The Metropolitan Marunouchi hotel is extremely convenient for train travel to/from Tokyo and is clean, convenient and well serviced.
