It was a decent motel style place, room was comfortable but not fancy. Location was good for some restaurants, but near a neighborhood that I was told by locals was sketchy so you have to be careful walking around. Owners are very friendly. Oceana restaurant next door is very good.

short walk to downtown, but around the corner in Frenchman's on the water, with a serene view of a quiet corner of the harbor, clean rooms, and friendly staff. We would go back in a hearbeat, and unlike other parts of the city, stayed longer.

Stacey, the manager was awsome and helpful. Made sure we were settled, recommended restaurants and even set up the cab for us in the am. The pool was well maintained and clean and we had free mangoes. Everything is walkable and the little French bistro close by had a bouillabaisse to die for! That being said, they're working with a property which the […] owners put no $ in to. This hotel was the quality of one a quarter of the price or less in the States. Old, worn out and not cared for. M6 is a 5 star compared to this place. The only thing going for it is that it's close to the airport for an early flight out. I hate to say this but the place garbage. Tired after long flights, we stayed here overnight before going on to Tortola. Villa Olga is a nice, quiet location walking distance to the Tortola ferry dock. We arrived at 4pm and the office/lobby was locked up - no staff to be found - we sat on the steps, as there were no chairs. We stayed there for one night before going to the all-inclusive Bolongo Bay, a sister resort. The manager at Villa Olga was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice view of the harbor. We didn't walk in to town, but it looked like about a 20 minute walk. We thought that Villa Olga was an excellent value for the price.

This hotel is in a beautiful location and the two managers live on location. Both were exceedingly polite and friendly, which is a rarity in the Virgin Islands. The hotel has a lot of steps to the rooms and has different levels of decking on the way to the top of the steps that allow guests to find somewhat private places to relax. It was a motel atmosphere, air worked, hot water, cable tv and a decent bed. Built on the side of a mountain, plenty of stairs to climb. They did have a pool recently redone and with no swimming hours. It was located in the french quarter area with some local restaurants nearby, 3 minutes on foot. Also located on a beautiful point, overlooking the bays […] next to a great restaurant that was closed for low season. The manager was super friendly and helpful to us. The place does need some more tender loving care, but suitable for the costs per night and near to the main shopping areas. We stayed one night after arrival in the VI's. The hotel is in an older neighbor in the frenchtown area. I would not recommend a tourist walk in this area at night. Many people were "hanging out" at 11 pm in the area. The room was very dated and the bathroom did not meet my expectation for cleanliness. Villa Olga is a fantastic place if you are looking for a spot in St. Thomas for 1-2 nights. In Frenchtown, walkable to Charlotte Amalie downtown and shops. Frenchtown has many great restaurants, awesome coffee shop and a good local feel (yes there are chickens running around...this is the Caribbean). The couple running Villa Olga are extremely nice […] and very helpful with lots of recommendations on where to go. The location of the hotel is what makes this place, especially if you need to catch a ferry. The accommodations are good: beds are comfy and clean, flat screen tv with all the channels, pool area is nice to hang out after dinner or during the day. There is a little cafe on site for lunch that we tried and was quite pleasant. And while there is no beach, the view of the harbor and bay are fantastic. For the money this place can't be beat. If you are staing in St.Thomas to catch the charlotte amalie ferry the next day, then this is a good choice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, but in various states of disrepear. Blinds were broken, sliding door off hinges, issues with windows, handles for water in the tub were loose and would fall off. There are also many, many stairs to climb […] to get to the rooms, so be prepared for that. All ofthat said, the staff was very kind and helpfull, the location is great (convenient to the airport and ferry), Frenchtown is nice and the view fromt he oceanfront rooms is very good. There are nice decks on the oceanfront rooms. I would stay again to catch the ferry the next day. It's a good option for that purpose considering the price. Read more

There were a lot of stairs, would not recommend it unless you are willing & able to climb at least 5 flights a day. This hotel was older. The owner was soooooo nice & helpful. Recommend staying in the ocean view room; the "harbor rooms" were not the best. Located right on the water. Next door to a really good restaurant & down the street from an awesome […] bakery. It was located in Frenchtown, a lot of people sat in their cars at night "and smoked" by the water. Although we were looking for a cheap, 2 night stop-off location we were not prepared to compromise on cleanliness and I suppose convenience, both of which were on offer at Villa Olga. Despite our late arrival, the greeting was warm and friendly and the limited service we requested was always quickly and efficiently fulfilled. Our group had three rooms for a night, in transit to the BVI for a sailing vacation. Very pleasant spot for a stayover, and close to good restaurants. It's a pretty basic place, but nicely located and away from the hustle and bustle. Would certainly stay again.

Perfekt overnattingssted for backpackers og de som trenger et midlertidig sted å sove ved sene kveldsfly relativt nært flyplassen, kun 10$ pr pers i taxi. Hotellet ligger utrolig nære sentrum og ferger videre til alle andre øyer!! 2 min gange. Hotellet i seg selv er preget av alder og slitasje, det er et absolutt brukbart svømmebasseng med flott utsikt […] utover bukten til Charlotte Amalie. Gode brede senger i vår leilighet. Vertinnen var det som gjorde at hotellet pekte seg ut, hun var UTROLIG hjelpsom og hyggelig. Så har du ikke så høye krav til standard så anbefaler vi sterkt dette stedet. Read more
