Our third visit to this property. Will continue to return. Perfect location for a wine country visit. Great restaurants within close walk. Ask for rooms... away from front of hotel. Our room on this visit was located next to a water heater/pump room that created a lot of noise starting at about 5 AM. Also, garbage truck shows up promptly at 6 AM every other day and will wake you if the water heater noise hasn't already. We were surprised that the building was more like a motel than a lodge. The room was ok but maybe a little expensive for what you got...a room only.

This is the second time we have stayed at Jack London Lodge. You are within a few miles of the Sonoma wine country without having to pay the Sonoma hotel prices. It's very reasonably priced considering its proximity. We will stay there again in the Fall when BR Cohen puts on its Dooble Brothers Concert.

Our only disappointment this time is the change to a new manager, who we did not find as friendly as the one last year. Otherwise we again enjoyed the free breakfast provided out in the lovely outdoor eating area of the next door restaurant; room clean with spacious bathroom area.

Jack London has generous sized rooms, very convenient to Sonoma and wine country. They have a nice continental breakfast on their patio. Our Rommel had a comfortable king sized bed, microwave, small frige, good bathroom. We enjoyed our stay at the Jack London Lodge so much we booked another night. It was a peaceful retreat after a busy day of wine tasting & touring the Sonoma valley. A beautiful setting with a babbling creek running alongside the pool & outdoor seating for the restaurant surrounded by flowers. We will stay there again in the future!

This was a big surprise as the rates are very reasonable for wine country. The motel has flowers everywhere and looked magnificent when we were there in September. Glen Ellen has a couple of great restaurants, the Fig Cafe and the outstanding Glen Ellen Inn; the traffic is non-existent and it is in a great place to strike out for all parts of Sonoma […] or Napa. the welcome was warm and the breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Super Motel. Tolle Anlage mit Swimmingpool, beheiztem Whirlpool und tollem Ambiente. Preis Leistung stimmt. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass das angegliederte Restaurant nichts taugt. Deshalb Tip, in Hotelinfo steht Nr. Vom Pizzaservice. 2 Pizzas mit bringen fuer 30 $. Entfernung zum Yosemity Tal noch ca. 30 Meilen.
