Hotel Bambito was a wonderful place to relax and not far from the cloud forest. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. The Bambito was about what we expected in terms of amenities, cleanliness, etc. It was beautiful and had a great view. The curious part is that we were there during peak season, but the place was almost deserted. My guess is that there were only 3 of 52 rooms occupied. There was only one other table occupied during our dinner there (food was good) and […] that was only during our dessert. Nobody else was there during breakfast. I think the problem is location. We were only there for 1 night and didn't need to be really close to any activities / sights. We left right after breakfast and went to places that were 20-30 minutes away, but there was nothing really "right there" with the exception of swimming in there really nice pool and possibly hiking up the hill across the street. They had outdoor tennis courts that were sopping from frequent rain. Read more

This is a great hotel...25 years ago. It is has been let go through the years and needs a serious facelift. The grounds are beutiful and the location was great. However, the building itself was outdated and our room was flat out old. The food was average.

Nos alojamos dos noches en este hotel y hemos quedado satisfechos. La sensación general es buena. Quizá las instalaciones se quedan un poco antigüas como para la categoría de 5 estrellas, pero el sitio está bien limpio y es cómodo para descansar y conocer la zona. Se encuentra en un enclave privilegiado si te gusta la naturaleza y es perfecto para hacer […] alguna excursión al parque del Volcán Barú y sobre todo disfrutar de unas temperaturas muy lejos del calor al que Panamá nos tiene acostumbrados. Solamente cenamos un día en el hotel y he de decir que el buffet no era muy variado, pero la comida estaba rica, bien cocinada y el comedor es muy acojedor. Me pareció maravilloso el paisaje, etc. Muy incómodo el subir y bajar escaleras en el hotel y subirlas hasta la piscina, cuyo jacuzzi estaba sucio y sin mantenimiento alguno. Ahí no puede ir un discapacitado.

Me parece injusto que personas opinan mal acerca de este Hotel, ademas de su buen mantenimiento, la cortesia y buena atencion es lo que mas se puede notar en sus anfitriones.Lo unico que podria recomendarse es que mejoren loas baños pues son un poco anticuados, pero muy limpios y habitaciones exelentes.Exelente calidad en general

Esta Semana Santa 2012 he podido realizar un sueño que venia acariciando desde hace treinta años, cuando estuve trabajando en ese pais: Viajar desde Panama City hasta Cerro Punta en moto y hospedarme en el Bambito. Y os contaré un pequeño secreto: estuve en hoteles […] bastante peores que costaban mas caros. ¿Y la cena? ¡De lujo! Espero volver algun día antes de morir. Fué una maravilla.
