Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Latinum. This looks just like the pictures, extremely clean, modern and friendly. If there is any downside it is the 10 minute walk to the metro stop. Breakfast was typically continental and plenty of it. Plenty of hot water when we needed it and clean towels every day. We were in one of the side rooms so wasn't noisey for us at all. Rome is fantastic, my best type would be to just buy a single metrebus ticket, worked out far cheaper for us as when you get to your destination you tend to walk to most places anyhow. Very impressed by the transport system, very simple, both buses and metro. Stops are clearly marked for when to get off and the metro was really clean and spacious. Dont overly worry about pickpockets, we saw no signs, just take the usual precautions and enjoy yourself...it's a truly wonderful and friendly place, however take plenty of cash a coke costs about £4.00 on average!

Hotel Latinum was a great hotel to stay in in Rome; not in the centre of all the bustle but still extremely close. There is a bus stop right outside bringing you to the centre and the closest Metro is 15 mins walk away but you can take a bus there too! The staff were extremely helpful and took time to explain where and how to get to all th tourist sites. The hotel is quite hard to find and I would have missed had it not been for another travellers review (it is across from the tram station, the yellow building of the 2 standing on its own). Overall, a great stay especially for the price.

We chose this hotel as we liked the look of it from the website and also based on other reviews from people who had stayed there and we certainly were not disappointed, our taxi driver had no trouble finding the hotel. We arrived early evening and were greeted by very friendly staff who spoke good english(alot better than our Italian!).The Hotel is modern and very clean, we had a really lovely clean comfortable room with an ensuite bathroom. The hotel also had a lovley roof top garden/patio where they told us they serve breakfast from in the summer. We used this area to chill out on after many hours of walking! The staff were very helpful recommending places to eat,and how to get around Rome using the local transport. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and clean. They clearly invested money on making the hotel look nice and cosy. The only problem is that it is quite far from everything and that was an issue. But overall, if you are looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel this is the place to be.

For the cost, the room was very quaint and clean. The bathroom was small (typical of Italy) but very clean. The only complaint i have is that the bed be more comfortable.

Stayed in the Latinum for 3 nights, one week ago. Hotel is very modern, clean and the reception is very impressive. Rooms are nice, but ours was over the main street so very noisey. Breakfast was OK. Nothing great. It was not as close as I thought. It is approx 5-10 min walk for Termini (opposite direction from Colosium). The Area where the hotel is not great either but it is still recommended. Buy your drinks, Crisps etc from the Newsagent 1 min away, the hotel charges 3 times the actual price.

i have no complaints about the hotel itself. however, it is a little out of the way. although there is a bus stop very near by, i did not find the stop all that useful for getting around rome and instead we had a 10 minute walk to the metro stop. that doesn't seem far, but when you are walking for 10 hours a day to site see, i would have preferred to be a little closer to a useful public transportation stop.

The hotel is a little bit far off from every major Rome attraction but it's very clean, comfortable and not too far away from the nearest Metro station (about 10 minutes walk). The staff is very friendly and helpful, too. Recommended for anyone looking for clean, civilized and reasonably priced accommodation in Rome.

Metroen ligger i frisk gå-afstand.

Short way to bus stop, but metro stop could have had shorter way (10 min walk) and location would been perfect for relaxing stay. Travelling by metro is fast, cool and relaxing and much better than bus. A few but good restaurants nearby that will give you very good food and value for money (better than in the middle of town). Beware of "money swapping" when using taxis from the railway station. Bus is a good alternative.
