This was a quickly booked hotel online while driving down the interstate. It turned out to be a really nice room and all. Staff was friendly and overall stay was good. Rooms was clean and spacious. For the price of the room the breakfast could have been a little nicer, I've stayed at cheaper hotels with better breakfast, but all in all I'm not complaining […] much since it was decent food that was available in the limited selection. Very nice facility! I would stay there again IF they would allow a late check out as I was in town for the Chickamauga Marathon. The awards ceremony wasn't until 1 p.m., and they wouldn't allow me a 2 p.m. checkout as most other hotels do for marathon events. I had to drive home all sweaty and dirty.

We had two extended king suites. Were taking our grandson to Lake Winnie. The suites were perfect in every way. Just right for two people with enough room for the four of us to get together to visit.Clean as a pin.

Considering it is literally next to a major interstate, it is one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in ever. We are staying more nights because of how quiet and clean this hotel is. It is a relatively new building. Do wish they would make the jets in the hot tub work better...weak jets.

We loved the location and how clean the room was but had two minor complaints. The refrigerator did not have a freezer in it. We had things we needed to freeze overnight. I have never stayed in a hotel where the refrigerator did not have a small freezer so I was a little surprised. Maybe this would have been OK if the refrigerator was actually cold […] but it was not. Not to worry, though. All we had to do was notify the desk clerk and she had a maintenance man sent to our room with a new refrigerator in minutes. So the new one was much colder. Also the air conditioning in the room was a little strange. We never could get the thermostat set right. It would get really, really cold at night then shut off and get really,really hot before it would come back on again. Had a great stay and no complaints. This hotel was so clean that I thought it was brand new. Friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, sits off the busy road so no major traffic noise. Can walk across the street to shop for antiques or eat at Cracker Barrel. Was an ideal location for me. Highly recommended.

I asked if you could partition off the sitting room due to having a toddler that goes to sleep at 8 in a pack and play. We wanted to be able to stay up and not interrupt her. Everything was fine except we were there on a weekend when there was a softball tournament. Despite a relativrly large breakfast room there was not enough room for all. Some of the girls were even eating in the lobby. We ate across the street.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fairfield in South Ridge. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. The housekeeping staff was especially helpful; my son is 16 months and had toys, books, clothes all over the room. Our housekeeper cleaned around his mess and picked his toys off of the floor. She even retrieved a pair of shoes that I didn't realize […] he had thrown in the trash! The manager was also very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had enjoyed our stay. The breakfast fare was typical for most hotels - the only hot foods were biscuits, gravy, sausage, and make-your-own waffles - but if you want a full breakfast Cracker Barrel and Wally's (family buffet) are within walking distance.
