- When we got to the lobby the Guest Service Rep look at us and went to attended to is huge dog which we could smell 50 ft out. - The Lobby was hideous and the room where he put the large smelly dog had boxes all over it. - I had two rooms book for two days, I only need one they told me they did not know if they could cancel it, and they were going […] to find out from the manager if they could. The manager said he did not have time for two days, that is extremely poor customer services. - The room smells moldy, it smells like dirty feet, and arm pit, the towels smell as if it was not watched with detergent, there were cob webs in the room and there were dead insects all over the floor that looks like large bed bugs. The rate is right. The location is good, train platform is very near walking distance The breakfast is not as fresh as it should be I had a non-smoking room and it had been smoked in for 20 years. The whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke and yellowed just the same. Thsi place is very tired.

There was nothing special about this hotel...for me it was a one night stay after arriving in Germany late at night. For the price, it was well worth it. For what I paid, it's what I expected.

We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst attending the Eurovision Song Contest final in Dusseldorf. This must have been the only hotel within thirty miles of Dusseldorf not to be making a fast buck from the shortage of hotel accommodation. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, just a few minutes from the A3 motorway, on the outskirts of Cologne. […] There is garage parking at a small fee and plenty of free parking in the surrounding area. The tram stop is two minutes walk from the hotel and we travelled into the centre of Cologne for 4.5 Euros return. There is a small Aldi supermarket next to the hotel. Although the hotel gives off a rather tired appearance from the outside, our room was nicely furnished and the shower worked well. We had fruit and chocolate in the room to welcome us. Breakfast buffet was included in the price and was much better than we expected. We had bacon and scrambled eggs with fresh crusty rolls. There was also the usual continental fare. Hotel reception is a bit hit and miss. We were issued with a room key only to find, on climbing two flights of stairs, that the room wasn't ready for us. The hotel does not have a lift. We didn't notice smoking in the hotel, but the ashtrays outside on the patio were full to overflowing and the staff did not seem concerned to empty them. Visitors are greeted in reception by a friendly Great Dane which only adds to the homely atmosphere of this non-chain hotel. Read more

Comfortable room; tastefully decorated. The safe was not working; the reception was very friendly and cooperative. Both receptionnists (they looked like they were the owners) speak very good English and French. Very good breakfast buffet with an orange press, choice of fresh breads, eggs a la coque, ham, cheese, .. I did not try the restaurant and […] the bar; but it looked good. Sehr freundliches Personal, die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, sehr kleines Bad. Im Haus befindet sich eine Ü-40-Disco besonders am Wochenende kann es laut werden. Raucherfreundlich, leider keine getrennten Nichraucherbereiche im Hotel. Die S-Bahn ist gleich um die Ecke, mann ist schnell in Köln. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ok..

Schönes (Turm-)Zimmer, freundliches Personal, Ü-40-Disco störte überhaupt nicht, da im Zimmer nicht zu hören, ein Herz für Raucher, mit der U-Bahn um die Ecke schnell in Köln. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gern wieder.

宿泊費と部屋の状態は好印象。ただwifiやパーキングが有料なのはイマイチ。とくに場所柄パーキング必須なのに有料はがっかり。ホテルの周りに食べるところはわずかしかなく、そういう意味で夕食を済ませてからチェックインがおすすめ。朝食は標準的。救いは、200mぐらいの距離に22時まで営業してる大きなスーパーがあること。

Owners friendly, staff friendly but perhaps overworked. A nice hotel, nice rooms, with a good breakfast, but staff reductions apparent: room dusty; had to wait some minutes for some of the breakfast items; no one at desk when I wanted to check out. Not very clean, staff was smoking in the kitchen during breakfast. However, good situated just 1 min walk from Metro station that takes you direct to the fair ground. Very warm room and when the window was open you hear a lot of planes just about to start/land on the Cologne/Bonn airport nearby

Nachreinigen wollte zu der Uhrzeit niemand , dann rief der Geschäftsführer an und war mehr als empört über uns. Das Zimmer sei von zwei Mitarbeiterinnen besichtigt worden und sauber gemacht worden. Ich forderte ihn auf nach oben zu kommen und es sich selbst anzusehen. Wir baten um Nachreinigung und wurden vom Geschäftsführer beschimpft und bedroht. Darauf hin schrie er mich an und gab mir drei Möglichkeiten: (Zitat des Geschäftsführers) 1.Sie verlassen auf der Stelle mein Hotel 2.Sie kommen runter und bezahlen auf der Stelle beide Nächte in bar, sonst dürfen Sie nicht bleiben 3.Ich rufe die Polizei und lasse Sie gewaltsam entfernen Und das trotz der tatsache, dass bereits über Expedia bezahlt war! Das Frühstück war einfach widerlich! Der Käse rollte sich an den Ecken bereits hoch, die Wurst war vertrocknet,für eine Sorte Tee stand nur lauwarmes Wasser bereit. Kaffee gab es garnicht . Ben zeer tevreden. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ideaal als je de beurs wilt bezoeken in Keulen. Ligt niet te ver van de snelweg. Gezellig eet-cafe wat bij het hotel hoort. Parkeergarage waar je auto veilig staat voor maar 5 euro per dag. Ontbijt is eenvoudig maar wel vollledig. Vriendelijke mensen.

Dieses Hotel ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Beispiele: Mein zugewiesenes Zimmer war nicht geputzt , Betten und Badezimmer waren noch mit Haaren der letzten Gäste belegt, (Ich erhielt darauf hin wenigstens ein Ersatzzimmer.) Das ganze Haus roch nach abgestandenem Rauch, alle Räume sind stark verschmutzt, die Fussböden sind dreckig mit Fusstritten und […] Hundetatzen.. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Frühbstücksbuffet reichhaltig und sehr gut. Die Gläser hatten viele Wasserflecken und sahen nicht ansprechend aus. Insgesamt könnte das Hotel etwas säuberer gehalten werden. Das Hotel kann für eine Kurzreise weiter empfohlen werden. Es liegt ideal an der Autobahn und ist daher für Reisende zu empfehlen.
