"Clean, Easy, Comfortable"
I would stay here again. Much nicer than other places I saw in the area. The wireless internet was good, the small cabin size of Cabin #1 made heating it to the temp I wanted quick.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place and location"
I stayed here for 5 nights while working in Palmer, AK. I stayed in one of the larger cabins while a colleague stayed in a smaller one. Both were nice, but mine was at least twice the size of his. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with both utensils and all kinds of breakfast foods. It is a short easy drive to both […] Palmer and Wasilla. And it is a very short drive up to Hatcher Pass, which is beautiful. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Palmer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice stay at the cabin"
Felt secluded but close enough to town for a quick overnight stay. Felt a little out of sorts when we arrived and were met on the porch. Told which cabin was ours, asked if we had any questions and then asked what time we were leaving in the morning. None the less, cabin was clean, comfy and stocked for breakfast. Fun experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great cozy cabin in quiet location."
Cabin was cozy but comfortable and had breakfast items (eggs, cereal, pastries and sausage) available to be cooked by yourself. Location was about 10 minutes from all other amenities, which is not uncommon for Alaska and along major road which led to some minor traffic noise. One of the better places we stayed on our trip/Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We stayed for five days in their larger cabin with four adults/two children. It was cramped, but it worked. We cooked several large meals in a well stocked kitchen (the only thing missing was a wine opener). Several times during our absence, towels were restocked, trash was removed, and things were tidied up a bit for us. The cabin was clean, but the pillows (which are a big deal to me) were somewhat uncomfortable. When we researched the property on the internet, we thought we would be a bit more isolated than we are, but with as many trips as we made in to Palmer, or Wasilla, it turned out to be a good thing. You are across the street from a firehouse and gas station vs. "out in the woods." This was a nice little get away for a few days during the holiday season. The owners are helpful and attentive.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway from Anchorage. So very close to the city but far enough away to feel "away from it all". Sister-in-law was in town so we got the grand cabin and it was a treat. Very warm clean cabin with great set-up. Fridge was stocked with great overabundance of breakfast supplies. Juice coffee milk cereal muffins bagels eggs sausage....and christmas lights to boot. The town is very cute and we stopped by the local bar up the street for a beverage. Great times!

From the planning stages, to figuring out dates, to what was available, this was the best and most personalized expierence I've had to date. We spent a wonderfully quiet 2 days and nights here and plan on making more trips here. The service, the food provided, and especially the ambiance, are worth it here!

We stayed in the Grande cabin and it was excellent. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and Liz was great if we did need anything. It was nice to be able to cook our own meals since we did not want to eat out all the time. There was more than enough food for breakfast and it was nice to be able to make that meal when you wanted to eat. The location was great. Some of our group went Salmon fishing and some went hiking at Hatcher Pass. All in all we had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

We stayed one night in the Sourdough Cabin and it was great. The cabin was super-clean and adorable. I love the idea of fixing your own breakfast so you can eat at your leisure, and there were more than enough food choices stocked in the fridge, and muffins on the counter. My mom, aunt and I stayed there the last night of our girls' road trip at the end of mine and my aunt's vacation to Alaska to see my parents. Our only regret was that we had just 1 night to stay. Highly recommended!!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at this fantastic B&B. Our cabin was nicely decorated, homely & very comfortable. We loved being able to chose and prepare our own breakfast from what was supplied. Good location for exploring the breathtaking Hatchers Pass. Highly recommended!
"VERY NICE OWNER"

We stayed one night at the Hatcher Pass B & B in early September in one of the Sourdough cabins. The cabins are small, but all that is needed. Liz Jackson, the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. We came in late in a rain storm and did not have much time to visit the grounds, but would stay here again with no hesitation. The road traffic was a little noisy at night.
"I loved our stay at this B&B!!!"

We stayed at Hatcher Pass B&B on our last two nights before departing Alaska. It is a very clean cabin!! We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess. This B&B is very close to Hatcher Pass, if you have plans to hike or whatever. The fridge had everything you might need to make breakfast. The only issue (which our hostess apologized for upfront) was alot of large trucks travelling on the main road. Road construction towards Palmer. One nice little perk, she had made us fresh pastries for breakfast one morning!!! Yummy!!!

Perfectly located little cabin. Private and a nice place to relax for the evening. Loved that she provided just a few things (more than enough for us) so that we could make our own breakfast and just hang out in the room before we headed out on the road again. Very well worth every penny of our stay. We will def be back again.
"Enjoyable relaxing cabins"

We stayed at Hatcher Pass the end of July and found the cabin very nicely decorated and stocked with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Liz was enjoyable to visit with as she shared information on the colony history and gave us directions to the only dairy farm in the area which we did find and was able to learn about milk production in Alaska. Our late afternoon trip up to Hatch Pass and the Gold Mine really gave us a great first taste of the beauty of Alaska. I would recommend this B&B as a place to stay if you are near Palmer Alaska
