More like a cabin that has breakfast food in the frig for you, but we enjoyed our one night stay. We recommend it to anyone who has a reason to be in that area. It is beautiful up there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, Easy, Comfortable"
I would stay here again. Much nicer than other places I saw in the area. The wireless internet was good, the small cabin size of Cabin #1 made heating it to the temp I wanted quick.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place and location"
I stayed here for 5 nights while working in Palmer, AK. I stayed in one of the larger cabins while a colleague stayed in a smaller one. Both were nice, but mine was at least twice the size of his. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with both utensils and all kinds of breakfast foods. It is a short easy drive to both […] Palmer and Wasilla. And it is a very short drive up to Hatcher Pass, which is beautiful. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Palmer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice stay at the cabin"
Felt secluded but close enough to town for a quick overnight stay. Felt a little out of sorts when we arrived and were met on the porch. Told which cabin was ours, asked if we had any questions and then asked what time we were leaving in the morning. None the less, cabin was clean, comfy and stocked for breakfast. Fun experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great cozy cabin in quiet location."
Cabin was cozy but comfortable and had breakfast items (eggs, cereal, pastries and sausage) available to be cooked by yourself. Location was about 10 minutes from all other amenities, which is not uncommon for Alaska and along major road which led to some minor traffic noise. One of the better places we stayed on our trip/Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent location close to Palmer town but far enough out of town 9 miles for it to be quiet. Good breakfast service so you if you fancy a lie in you can.

"My Husband said, "I Want One!""

We stayed in one of the Sourdough Cabins July 16 and 17, 2014. We both fell in love with the cabin and thought how awesome it would be to have one just like it in our woods at home! The cabin was immaculate and very cute and cozy. It is small, but had everything we needed to make our stay there a good one and is organized in such a manner that we really had more than enough room. Liz has thought of just about everything a person could need! She was also very helpful in giving information about the area regarding things to do and places to eat. She provides a very delicious and diverse supply of breakfast items for your first day there. It was ample enough for us to have for 2 days! We regretted that we only had two nights here. I would definitely stay here again! Besides the cleanliness, the peaceful, quiet setting was just what we needed!
"Adorable cabins and an excellent host!"

Hatcher Pass B&B is run by Liz who we found to be accommodating beyond normal expectations. She is very knowledgable about the area and gave us great advice for our stay. The Sourdough cabin is cozy but very well thought out. All necessary supplies are provided. The breakfast is a do-it-yourself affair with ample food provided. After several days of traveling (and eating too much) we found it a relief to just make what we wanted!

My sister and I stayed here 1 night and it was great. Cottage was well appointed and clean. Nice selection of breakfast items for us to make in the morning. Liz, the owner could not have been more helpful. She answered all our questions, provided us with directions and recommended a great place to eat that was family owned and an amazing pizza! Would stay here again

We spent 3 days in Hatcher Pass. Sadly the weather did not allow us to really appreciate the area! The cabin itself was perfect. Clean, neutral decor with comfortable beds. We stayed in the bigger cabin as we wanted a full kitchen that we used to cook the salmon we caught while there- perfect. TV, WiFi, privacy. Perfect. Easy access to Palmer- food and shopping for essentials. Nice to be able to make our own breakfast- on our trip we had many very early days that kept us from enjoying the B&B breakfast at some of the places we stayed so being able to make our own, fully stocked kitchen for breakfast- was really convenient. Frig for keeping food for bag lunches! Across the street was a place to do laundry- very convenient mid trip.
"Roomy, comfortable, good amenities"

Lived this place. We travelled with 3 teens and had plenty of room in the grande cabin. We travelled from Anchorage to Homer to Talkeetna to Healy and then Hatcher Pass for our last 2 nights and this place was, by far, the best. Comfortable, modern, full kitchen, quiet, and Liz (the owner) was warm and welcoming. She gave great advice on visiting Independence Anne and the hiking trails up there. Hatcher Pass is a beautiful (understatement!) drive. If I ever come back to AK, I would stay here again.

We stayed here 3 nights with another couple. The cabins are well maintained and there are beautiful hanging baskets and flowers on the property. Liz was wonderful with dining recommendations, flight seeing & hiking suggestions. Hatcher's Pass is beautiful.
"Cozy, cute, & clean"

We stayed here for 2 nights in a sourdough cabin which had a queen bed, kitchen, & bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfy - nice sheets. The bathroom is small, but it worked for us. Nice towels. Liz provides breakfast items (eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice) so you can cook your own breakfast whenever you want. Very quiet area. Be sure to drive the 6 miles to the Musk Ox Farm. Owner Liz is very friendly & helpful.
"Great Area, Knowledgeable Host and Good Value"

Stayed for two nights with Liz at her cabins, and enjoyed every minute. The Hatcher Pass area was a nice surprise, and Liz has a great knowledge of the surrounding area and can give great recommendations, don't be shy to ask as she is very friendly! Also leaves a good selection of breakfast items for you to enjoy at your own pace in the morning.

Unfortunately, I only got to stay here for one night as I was just passing through on my way to catch the ferry in Haines. I would have happily stayed longer if I could have. The cabin is adorable and very comfortable, with everything you may want or need during your stay. The host is friendly and informative, and the location is gorgeous. I loved that I could make breakfast in my own cabin whenever I wanted to, as opposed to a typical B&B. I hope to make it back someday, and will definitely recommend the place to my friends in Anchorage as an excellent weekend getaway spot!

Perfect for a couple's getaway! Very clean! Had just about everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Bed was so comfortable. Owner was extremely friendly! Cabins are close to Palmer & Wasilla. Would stay again. =)
