"Comfortable Hotel - Problems Quickly Resolved"
A pleasant, well maintained hotel. We have stayed here on a number of occasions when visiting our Son at Plymouth University. On this occasion our original room was right opposite the lifts, with quite a bit of noise form early morning returning revellers added to slightly later noise form the young children in the adjoining room. Reception staff arranged […] a change of room without any fuss when asked in the morning. Great rate from Hotels.com. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just normal hotel"
was very disappointing, very basic level hotel not worth the cost of accommodation... I have no idea why such level hotel is not offering internet for free? even in the reception. the cost of one hour is too expensive... we are in 2013 and the cost of this service is too cheepGenuine Expedia guest review
"Economical and OK"
Good one night stop over. Very inexpensive....minimal amenities.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overall, incredible value for the money."
Nice staff. Bar stops serving food at 10:30 p.m. Parking is a bit tricky, around the corner in garage (you can buy a ticket at the front desk that will get you 12 hours for 6 pounds). Overall, incredible value for the money.Genuine Expedia guest review
"near to all amenaties"

"OK Hotel with Great Location"
The location was perfect, close to everything. The hotel itself is mediocre with worn carpeting and budget quality furnishings. Also, my room, particularly the bathroom, did not appear very clean, and the shower curtain reeked. Not sure I would stay here again despite the great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Jurys Inn Plymouth - good city centre location"
Good short break hotel in city centre. Not convenient if you come by car. Fairly close to main train station and just across from main shopping areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Jury's Inn Plymouth - Maid must been very busy"
Overall the stay went well but had some issues with maid service. The first day we were tired and didn't leave room until around noon. The maid left a note under door that she had not cleaned because we had a do not disturb sign on the door. On the way out of the hotel we told the lady at the front desk who said that she would tell them. When we returned […] after 5pm, the room had not been cleaned. I contacted the front desk at 5:30 pm and the phone rang over 10 times. Called again in 10 minutes and asked for towels and coffee packets which were brought within 30 minutes. We ate a pizza that evening and put the box on the floor by the front door. The box was still there when we checked out on May 9. The maid also left only one set of towels. I was surprised at the maid service during this stay since it had been fine when we were there three days before. I am also unhappy that this Jury's Inn property charges for wireless internet service. I felt that we paid a higher rate for less service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Jury Inn Plymouth-restaurants sights & shop close"
We enjoyed our stay at the Jury's Inn in Plymouth UK. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to store a bag and able to use a complimentary safe box while we travelled to another area. I was disappointed that wireless internet was not complimentary at least in the lobby area as it was in Southampton since the price […] was much more at this location. The room was comfortable but all hotels in the UK only have a double rather than at least a queen size bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel - shame about the pillows"
An enjoyable stay with service over and beyond what one might expect. Not only were we given instructions on how to access the hotel by car but also given the same for our hotel in Exeter on the next day. The only negative we could say was that the pillows were very hard and the promised softer alternative pillows stored on the wardrobe turned out to […] be even harder! It was very conveniently sited for accessing the University, shopping areas and the istoric Barbican. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Couldn't have been more satisfied ... I don't stay in hotels very often but this one met all my needs! Location, facilities, condition, cleanliness and service all delivered! My only wish would have been a cheaper car park...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent value for money"
Generally happy. But car park is a nightmare!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall, very much worth the money."
I am happy with everything about this hotel, and considering it is relatively cheap, I don't know how anyone could say otherwise. The only thing I would say for the hotel to maybe try and improve on, is the banging of the hotel room doors. I had to sleep with my headphones in and pretty loud music to get some sleep, my better half did not get a very […] good sleep at all. Other than that the hotel staff, food and cleanliness was excellent. Happy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Had an overnight stay here, nice clean foyer, easy quick check in with polite staff. Room was perfectly clean, working Tv, plenty of towels, spare pillows and a throw. Although I found it was very hot in the night and my pillow was rock solid, had quite a stiff neck and not much sleep! I assumed my partners was like this too but his was lovely and soft. […] Found a spare pillow to be more comfortable but much too late! Overall a good experience, wish I'd been awake enough to swap my pillow earlier! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for a trip to the Pavillions"
Clean good sized room, unexpected sea view and extra pillows. Nothing amazing but did what it said on the tin. Didn't have breakfast so can't commentGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy for business"
The central location was the reason that I stayed. There is no parking provided by the hotel but a parking garage a few doors away was convenient (but pricey!--add £10 for 24 hrs for your stay).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location great breakfasts"
Clean hotel helpful staff and good location for train stationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Only thing is I thought it said free parking in the adjacent car park however it cost £6 for the night. Great value as got the offer including breakfast which was very good. Handy just for the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was fine. The check-in was okay and the bedroom was fine although the shallow bath was interesting. I did not have an evening meal or use the bar but the breakfast was disappointing. My wife and I had breakfast about 9.00 am, and the buffet was either mostly all gone or, in the case of the hot food, had sadly been there for a good while. It […] was a quiet night in January and I understand it is tough to keep a buffet fresh for 2-3 hours so perhaps on a quiet morning breakfasts should be cooked to order. I have used this hotel on several occasions over the past few months and the staff have been more than helpful, sorting out minor problems with bookings without any fuss even during their busy Christmas time. Old fashioned service so often missed in this day and age is in good health here. Just a few minutes walk from the marina area or the town centre […] the hotel is well placed. The only down side is the car parking but the staff will advise you on that. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I waited for a few minutes until a staff checked me in because the other one was on the phone and did not notice my coming, maybe. Nice room as other Jurys Inn hotels'. But the heating didn't work and I woke up in the midnight feeling cold. Fantastic breakfast. Reasonable price of £45 including breakfast cos I got the Christmas offer. Or the breakfast […] costs £8 if the voucher is bought the night before and £12.5 (£10 food + £2.5 tea and coffee) for walk in. Very good location for the university. "Hotel nicely situated to Plymouth City centre."
Hotel very convenient for Plymouth city centre, handy for shopping. Extremely close to the bus station, which makes it very convenient for sight seeing etc. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Should the need arise for me to use this hotel again, I would not hesitate. Have used this hotel on several occasions.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Room with a view .... Not"
Used to stay for one night and spend following day waiting in the lounge. reception staff at arrival was rather callous but all others were wonderfully helpful. Brilliant location for coach station and basic shops ;clean and comfy room, provided you don't open the curtains as view is rather depressing. No food during the day but staff didn't object […] outside food being eaten in their lounge Will most certainly consider again , particularly if travelling on coach Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is conveniently located, but our room smelt of strong nasty disinfectant, like a public toilet. The overflow in the sink needed cleaning as was black with mould. The usual chap on reception wasn't there, he is incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with. The two receptionists on were professional, but not particularly friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great value for money"

overall a modern clean hotel. only parking next to the hotel is £10 overnight. staff at the reception give u ur card and room number and were pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dirty room and bathroom"

"A great hotel in the heart of Plymouth!"
Love Jury's and this hotel is just fantastic!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great service, hotel of a good standard"
The hotel was exactly as expected which is fairly rare for me. I often stay in a hotel where the room won't be clean or something will be wrong. This hotel was spot on. The receptionist when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Functional hotel, centrally located"
I needed somewhere close to the University to attend a conference. It was well located and the rooms were adequate. Check in staff were helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel is in Plymouth town, right by Barbican. Only negative is no car park, have to use Staples car park which £10.50 overnight.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a good location especially if visiting sons/daughters who are at the Uni`The biggest problem is the parking and the cost. I had to pay £10 for overnight so you need to add that onto the cost of your stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy for the center of town"
Handy for town, but you have to pay for parking and wifi - so soon adds up on top of your cost of staying.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"pleasant place to stay"
Clean convenient and cost-effective place to stay. Although I was amazed at the charges for wi-fi. For travellers today wi-fi is not an option, with flight changes etc, so to charge nearly half again the room charge is really over the top.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Early wake up call!"
Great hotel, fab room but housekeeping need to communicate with reception as to who has checked out as was woken up twice with them knocking on the door to change the room fairly early on a Saturday morning.Genuine Expedia guest review

Staying at the Plymouth Jurys hotel is an ideal central hotel.. It is minutes away from the shops (ladies) . "Good Hotel. Awkward parking"
Good enough hotel, clean and comfortable. Parking expensive... £10 for 24 hours using the car park next door (not very easy to find) A lot of the spaces reserved for Staples & another store. Parking vouchers can be obtained from reception at a discounted £6 for 24 hours after 5pm. Not exactly easy to obtain before entering the car park though!?!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this hotel!"
What's not to love about Jury's? I prefer to stay in this chain than any other due to the high quality and consistency of service. The great thing about the Plymouth one is that it is right next door to the Drakes Circus shopping centre - a shoppers paradise right on your doorstep!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasoably priced central hotel."
This place was fine but we stayed in a Friday night and our neighbours were noisy and the room doors all slam because of the closing mechanisms. But... It's well situated and within walking distance of eating places.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basic but friendly"
The hotel is conveniently situated close to the town centre, which was very handy for the university's graduation ceremony upon the Hoe, and a short stroll from the lovely Barbican restaurants. Our room was smaller than most of the other larger hotel chains but it suited our needs considering we were there for only one night. We paid for a double room […] with breakfast, which was reasonable given it was graduation week. There was a lot of choice for breakfast, however, due to a large late evening meal, we couldn't take advantage of what was on offer. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating, we would be happy to book again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
