We were given a room for wheel chair access, so we asked for a room that didn't look like we were staying in a hospital.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Room with a view .... Not"
Used to stay for one night and spend following day waiting in the lounge. reception staff at arrival was rather callous but all others were wonderfully helpful. Brilliant location for coach station and basic shops ;clean and comfy room, provided you don't open the curtains as view is rather depressing. No food during the day but staff didn't object […] outside food being eaten in their lounge Will most certainly consider again , particularly if travelling on coach Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is conveniently located, but our room smelt of strong nasty disinfectant, like a public toilet. The overflow in the sink needed cleaning as was black with mould. The usual chap on reception wasn't there, he is incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with. The two receptionists on were professional, but not particularly friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great value for money"
really enjoyed our stay, clean room and a comfortable bed. What else could you ask for?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
overall a modern clean hotel. only parking next to the hotel is £10 overnight. staff at the reception give u ur card and room number and were pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dirty room and bathroom"
Put in a room with a broken toilet seat. Second room had a dirty toilet seat and public hairs on the floor. Room carpet was not vacuumed in the 3 days that I was there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great hotel in the heart of Plymouth!"
Love Jury's and this hotel is just fantastic!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great service, hotel of a good standard"
The hotel was exactly as expected which is fairly rare for me. I often stay in a hotel where the room won't be clean or something will be wrong. This hotel was spot on. The receptionist when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Functional hotel, centrally located"
I needed somewhere close to the University to attend a conference. It was well located and the rooms were adequate. Check in staff were helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel is in Plymouth town, right by Barbican. Only negative is no car park, have to use Staples car park which £10.50 overnight.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a good location especially if visiting sons/daughters who are at the Uni`The biggest problem is the parking and the cost. I had to pay £10 for overnight so you need to add that onto the cost of your stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy for the center of town"
Handy for town, but you have to pay for parking and wifi - so soon adds up on top of your cost of staying.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"pleasant place to stay"
Clean convenient and cost-effective place to stay. Although I was amazed at the charges for wi-fi. For travellers today wi-fi is not an option, with flight changes etc, so to charge nearly half again the room charge is really over the top.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Early wake up call!"
Great hotel, fab room but housekeeping need to communicate with reception as to who has checked out as was woken up twice with them knocking on the door to change the room fairly early on a Saturday morning.Genuine Expedia guest review

"good central hotel"
Staying at the Plymouth Jurys hotel is an ideal central hotel.. It is minutes away from the shops (ladies) . Also the Barbican for strolling and more importantly eating and strolling distance for the theatre . Therefor all in all you can leave the car and not worry about drinking and driving. The hotel and staff are very accomadating and the breakfast […] and bar snacks are well priced and presented Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel location, clean and comfortable"
Managed to check in an hour early, first room we had the door didn't lock so we had to go back to reception, gave us another room. Double room nice and comfortable, air con always a bonus. If only the hotel had a car park, ended up paying £10 for 24hours in the brittania parking 50 yards from the hotel. "Good Hotel. Awkward parking"
Good enough hotel, clean and comfortable. Parking expensive... £10 for 24 hours using the car park next door (not very easy to find) A lot of the spaces reserved for Staples & another store. Parking vouchers can be obtained from reception at a discounted £6 for 24 hours after 5pm. Not exactly easy to obtain before entering the car park though!?!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this hotel!"
What's not to love about Jury's? I prefer to stay in this chain than any other due to the high quality and consistency of service. The great thing about the Plymouth one is that it is right next door to the Drakes Circus shopping centre - a shoppers paradise right on your doorstep!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasoably priced central hotel."
This place was fine but we stayed in a Friday night and our neighbours were noisy and the room doors all slam because of the closing mechanisms. But... It's well situated and within walking distance of eating places.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basic but friendly"
The hotel is conveniently situated close to the town centre, which was very handy for the university's graduation ceremony upon the Hoe, and a short stroll from the lovely Barbican restaurants. Our room was smaller than most of the other larger hotel chains but it suited our needs considering we were there for only one night. We paid for a double room […] with breakfast, which was reasonable given it was graduation week. There was a lot of choice for breakfast, however, due to a large late evening meal, we couldn't take advantage of what was on offer. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating, we would be happy to book again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"good rooms, good location, good qulaity breakfast"
friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff. Would recommend that you state on the website that a special discount on parking is available if paid for at reception.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place to stay"
excellent hotel. Central to many restaurants. Bit hard to find when driving thou - the building sign is up very high - maybe add a sign to the front window/eye level would help. Great service and staff. Would stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay was good just as on previous occasions, the room was a good size and as we were on floor 7 the views were excellent. We will definitely use Jurys again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location for the shops, barbican and hoe, it's a shame about the hotel itself. The rooms are dated and need some upgrading to make them feel fresh. Our bathroom wasn't 100% clean but usable. We did not eat in the hotel but chose to go elsewhere as the barbican has a lot to offerGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean, tidy, nice views of the sea and very professional.Genuine Expedia guest review
Quality of hotel staff variable from sublime to ridiculous. Like the excellent Miss Lee from reception who arranged a meeting room and a number of the related arrangements to the nameless brainless wonder on reception that said when I was checking she was putting me into a room of a lower standard than I had paid for because it was easier for her. That […] was after it took two people (one watching the other) on reception 15 minutes to look for a coach driver's reservation only to them remember that the hotel had arranged for him to stay elsewhere. Meanwhile, steam, ears and venting spring to mind. Perfectly satisfactory hotel for my purposes otherwise - but you are only as good as your staff - and they let you down. "Perfectly adequate and decent location."
Fine place to stay, decent location, just a few minutes walk to the harbour. Room was modern, comfortable, and had a sea view. Downside is parking, which is not included. There is a car park next door, but that will add a tenner to your stay...and it is not easy to figure out how to get into the hotel from the car park after you park! Our Expedia special […] rate didn't include breakfast, so adding on the cost of that and parking, it was a bit expensive. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great location within walking distance of the train station and town centre. Service is somewhat slow as reception is understaffed it seems. The bar and food is good and staff are generally friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review

As a three star hotel it is well situated, perfect for exploring Plymouth whilst not being noisy. We have used it many times to stay when visiting student son and have always found it perfect. "Great location in the heart of Plymouth"
We stayed overnight as we were picking up our son the next morning from Plymouth uni. We found the service to be great - especially from the team at Reception. The hotel itself is getting a little ired and could do with some upgrading but overall the stay was pleasant and the rooms were good. The location is great with shops and Barbican all within […] a few minutes walk. A tip: try to either arrive in the afternoon or after 10pm as the bingo crowd next door grab all the parking places. There is an overfloww car park opposite the main car park entrance so dont despair too much if you miss these times. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
No parking which is not clear on website. One particular staff member had a terrible attitude and had no interest in speaking with myself nor my partner. Breakfast was horrendous. Overall, I would never stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is tired and badly in need of a refurbishment. There was along queue at the bar, too few staff, and it took 10 minutes to get served.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent budget accommodation for overnight stay, staff helpful, rooms clean, would use again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location for University visit"
Stayed here previoulsy on several occasions although this time room was smaller. Very busy at breakfast time, difficult to find table due to coach load of tourists having breakfast at the same time. Other than that car parking is the only downside to this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great view - of neighbouring flats..."
We got fairly good value for our money at the Jurys Inn. Hotel is average when it comes to food service, room location and service personnel. 1) On arriving, we found that our room was located such that our windows faced the block of flats located immediately across the way. We had interior views of the flat directly across from us. We kept our curtains […] closed at all times whilst we were in the room - I felt awfully sorry for the people who lived there, as most likely, they hated being on display as well!! 2) We found that the sevice staff at the hotel appeared to be mostly young college students with very little experience re international hospitality. Not rude, but not really helpful. 3) The food is average - definitely not up to the quality anticipated by the menu descriptions. 4) The hotel bar is apparently popular with the locals as there doesn't seem to be any nearby pubs. During our stay, we were also aware of several local events catered by the hotel - noisy children unmonitored in the corridors, etc. 5) The hotel is not too far from Plymouth Rail Station - we walked it in about 15 mins. 6) All in all, the hotel is clean and modern - we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value for money - if possible, see if you can get a room that doesn't overlook the block of flats next door! "Good for £44.09, but £6 to park overnight, slow"
For £44.09 (room only) it is not quite a good deal, but 1) Check-in is a bit slow 2) £6 additional for overnight parking at the Britannia car-park at Staples next door (have to pay at the hotel, get a voucher and put on the car) 3) The Bar is quite priceyGenuine Expedia guest review
As I didn't know the area I found the hotel but no immediate parking as the car park is an underground one! But after phoning the Jury and speaking to reception they directed me to the car park! We had problems with the door and key, and after several visits to reception for them to sort the key card out, we got in to our room! We had an enjoyable meal […] at the Barbican. When arriving back at the hotel, the bar staff gave us a bottle opener and wine glasses , but when trying to get back in our room we were not able to get in, the manager gave us complimentary drinks while they unlocked our door. All the staff were friendly and the lock of the door was fixed the following morning! Not ideal for a night away for some romance, but it wasn't spoilt! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed at Jurys Inn, Plymouth for two nights to pick our son up from the navy and had a great stay. The breakfast was excellant despite reports to the contrary on trip adviser. Yes it was a bit dear but if booked night before you get some discount and you can eat as much as you can manage. It was well presented. Rooms were clean tidy and comfy.you […] have to realise that it is only your home for your visit. the staff were very curteous and helpful. No car parking facility but there is a multi story car park virtually attached to the back of the hotel. It is a bit pricy but you are in the middle of a very busy City. There are cheaper car parks around but how far do you want to drag your luggage? and it is secure All in all we had a very good stay in a very well run hotel and when we come back to Plymouth we would definately stay here again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Get what your given"
I've stayed in this hotel and a number of times, but this is the first time i was given a disabled bedroom. i only noticed when i went to the toilet and door a large automated door button. I did think to complain but the hotel was busy as it took 15 mins to check in. There were only 2 staff members on the desk and needed more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"jurys inn plymouth"
expensive food and drink - the hotel could benefit from some upgrade work - lack of parking on the premises will stop me booking again - the £10 charge per 24hrs in the private car park is excessive - other competitors in plymouth offer free parking - better location for the same priceGenuine Expedia guest review
