Hotel location is perfect right on the main square, which is awesome. Nice hotel. We had top floor rooms in th attic which has a small walk out alcove. Would recommend lower floor which has bigger rooms.

This hotel is the absolute greatest! It's a small, wonderful hotel. It's not the most glamorous or the most expensive, but it's the best. Our room fronted onto the historic old town square and we had the beautiful sounds in early evening if we decided to take a break. I can't say enough about the staff, especially the front desk. Everyone was wonderful. […] The bed was totally comfortable, we had internet access, a small fridge and other amenities. The bathroom and sleeping area was spotless and we absolutely loved it. Best hotel ever!! Staff were always too steps ahead of us, especially Joanna. We just mention that we are interested in a tour and we find tickets waiting for us the next morning. Would stay there again. Great location, good breakfast. Only negative is the unusual beds. Not the most comfortable but adequate. On the market square. Others have said loud but we had a room overlooking the market and did not have any trouble. Just turn the air conditioning on and it blocks potential noise.

The Hotel Wentzl has two parts-modern and traditional. They first gave us a room in the modern section-it would have fit in at the Hard Rock! But the beds were hard and it did not have the view of the square I had requested so they moved us to a traditional room. It was lovely-high ceilings, soft beds and a postcard view! If you are considering this hotel, you are making the best choice. I can not say enough about how perfect everything was during my stay. I was in room 45 on the top floor over looking the old town square. The top floor rooms have little balconies which are perfect to see the famous trumpeter. The hotel booked all my tours for me in advance and my transfers […] to and from the airport as well as made wonderful restaurant recommendations and helped me purchase a ticket to a Chopin concert. They even found me a wonderful personal tour guide for my first day in Kracow. All the arrangements were flawless. The recommendations were perfect and the people who work in the hotel are some of the nicest and most conscientious people I have ever met. I actually left a scarf behind in one of the restaurants and a really nice man went to the restaurant and got it for me because it was cold outside. Fantastic hotel. I spent 4 nights there and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if and when I return. It's the only hotel on Rynek Glowny (the Main Square) and the view from the front-facing rooms is reason enough to stay there, if not for the fabulous, friendly and super helpful employees at reception. You can buy or reseve tickets for tours, museums […] etc, right from the front desk. I did a round trip tour to the salt mines, and also visited the new Rynek Underground museum (which was SO cool) on a recommendation from one of the lovely girls at the front desk. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was very good as well, and I also ate at Bistro Wentzl which is next door and underground. I enjoyed the ambiance there a bit more than at the restaurant, and the food is a bit cheaper, but quality and taste is certainly not lacking. Read more

Fabulous hotel with perfect location. Lovely room, which actually looks like the pictures in the add. Staff was very professional and helpful. The only little minus was that the restaurant was located on the floor below our room, and was a little noisy in the morning.

We loved our stay at the hotel Wentzel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and beatifully decorated and the window opened to a fantastic view of the main square. The staff arranged a trip for us to Auchwitz that picked us up there and had a very informative English-speaking guide. They also stored our luggage the last day when […] we were leaving late and let us access it midday to drop off purchases. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety at the buffet and egg dishes made to order from a menu. They kept everything full even when time for breakfast had technically ended. Location location location! Superb and very helpful staff.The view from window was over the main square. The reason I booked with hotel.com was that the description mentioned a hot tub but despite my requests to the hotel we only had a shower. The room was hot however and robes and slippers a nice luxury.

Hotel is in the best location in this city with views directly over the market square and the cloth hall. Rooms are modern and stylish. The staff are exceptional. They organised tickets for a local football match, tours of auschwitz and salt mines. One of the best hotel experiences I've had.

... or take some earplugs. Wentzl is really lovely hotel, perfectly situated in a beautiful city. The view across the main square Rynek Glowny, from our 4th floor balcony, as good as any city view anywhere. Do remember the ear plugs as the bugler who plays just after the bells of St Mary's basilica strike the hour, every hour, may keep you awake!
