"So-so"
Small room. Many channels not working. Bed was comfortable and the staff was courteous. Honestly, for the money, I could have found something a little better. I usually stay at this hotel when visiting family but it seems to need to be refurbished; microwaves and mini fridges need to be added to the rooms. I probably won't stay here on my next visit.

"Pros and cons"
We stayed for three nights. The bed is very comfortable and there is coffee/tea available 24/7. The staff was very responsive and helpful. There are several restaurants and shopping areas close by. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and one morning they had turkey sausage which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed that there was not a mini fridge or microwave in our room. Also the carpets were a bit soiled from heavy traffic. However, I really appreciated the mattress covers on the bed.

"Great area. Hotel so so."
Mattress was worn and grooved. Sink doesn't drain. Pool water was green and cloudy. Great area. Good restaurants. Close to Red Rock Canyon and shopping. Staff very good and responsive. Nice big health club next door.

"Okay"
Well, let's see, I checked in about three thirty and they just cleaned the rooms.. The ice maker was inconvenitly located at the extreme end of the hallway instead in a more convently centered location. There was no television listings channel. The television was not able to provide movies and there was no one to help until the next day when I realized that an in-room movie was about eighteen dollars. Outrageous! Otherwise, things were okay, although the breakfast orange juice was watered down. Oh yea, the hotel was tricky to find as it has poor singage and is set back off the road two lots from Grand Canyon Drive, as advertised.

"Nice staff, rooms NEED help"
Staff are really nice however the hotel needs some help!! First, very poor signage/ hard to readily find the place. Second, room carpet needs to be steamed as multiple large stains, heavily soiled traffic areas. Third, sink faucet so loose than can turn 360 degrees. Fourth and minor, too few hangers for pants/shirts. I stayed here for seven nights, first time here as usually stay at SouthPoint

"Barely average hotel"
Overall stay was average. Upon checking in the front desk person was rude and abrupt. Very poor first impression. Hotel was run down but clean. In our room a post it note was stuck to the bed stating duvet cover and sheets clean for your arrival. Really?? Shouldn't they always be clean? Tacky if you ask me.

"Convenient location."
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for seven days. It is located off-the-strip of Las Vegas but convenient to it and the major highways. I would say it is centrally located to the entertainment venues but also to outdoor activities, ie: Hoover Dam and the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. There is a shopping plaza across the street. If you do not have your own means of transportation you are still close enough to shop for any items you may have forgotten. In my case, it became most convenient when my stay had to be extended and I had to buy more clothes. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful. With every contact we made, from the front desk clerks to the maintenance and breakfast room staff, all were polite and willing to help make our stay enjoyable.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Free breakfast was available with the area set up nicely, clean, food was good. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites at Red Rock Summerlin NV.

"Dirty, smelly carpets"
The carpets were so dirty. The room seemed old and in need of update. The hallway carpet down the hall was soaking wet. When I told the front desk, she said the repair guy knew about it but had gone home for the day. The hallway smelled. My heater in my room was broken. They moved me to a different room and that room was not any better. I would not stay there again with it so dirty.

"Not too Bad"
The entire place needs redecorating and updating. Carpets are dirty and thread bare. Lights in main area of bedroom are lacking. The facility must be old. While staying there for four nights I would have liked breakfast a bit later for in Vegas most stay out late and want to sleep later Even a half hour later would help.

Great location on the west side of Vegas, easy access to I-215 as well as main roads leading into the city (Flamingo, Tropicana, etc.). Non-gaming hotel which is what I wanted. Great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Hot breakfast with all sorts of pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, hard boiled eggs, fresh waffles (DIY waffle maker with batter), juices. Fast check-in, easy check out. Can't think of anything that was lacking. It's a nice break from the Strip, if that's what you are looking for. Good rates, easy to find,

"Nice hotel away from the Strip and congestion."
Aside from a hotel computer problem at check-in that caused a 10 minute delay everything was as we expected of a Hampton Inn. Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities. It is not the place to stay if you are going to Las Vegas for glitz, glamour and congestion. It met our needs perfectly.

"Slow WiFi and messed up Air Conditioner"
Was a nice room. We had a problem with the air conditioner and furnace. The air would run for a few minutes then the furnace would click on, we told the the front desk they said they couldn't find anything wrong.It made it hard to sleep because you would go from freezing to too hot. The WiFi in this hotel is like the 2005 model very slow and had to login every morning. They only give you three days use for free after that you need to pay for it. So if you stay three night you need to deiced if you want the wifi when you get there or the day you leave because that is four days so you need to pay.

"Very nice hotel"
Very nice hotel that is well kept and clean. Beds were comfortable and rooms are a good size. The breakfast was decent a lot better than other hotels with breads, cereal, waffles, juice, and coffee. Surrounding are excellent with restaurants and shopping nearby and nice view of the mountains. Only negative was the noise level of the AC unit which was too loud for sleeping. Luckily the temperature dropped during our visit so we turned it off.

The hotel was nice, good breakfast - friendly staff. On the down side, the carpet in the room was tired. The conveniences in the room were nice. Lots of outlets for computers and such. I would stay there again. The room was clean and the bedding very clean.

The location was great. We had a room where the carpet had been pulled away from the door entrance to the bathroom and if you were in bare feet you would step on a small nail. The room didn't have any numbers on the door. Not sure at first if it was the room we were suppose to be in. Other than that is was great.

"Should've been better"
I stay in Vegas every week for a couple of days and found this hotel to be less than what I expected. First, The Good: Great breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. I was able to check in early and check out late. Adequate parking and good location in Summerlin. The disappointing thing was that the hotel appeared to be tired and run down a bit. The wall paper lining the hallways was peeled back in places and scuff marks were all over the place. Elevators were dirty. Sinks didn't drain very fast. It just looked as though a lot of people have been through here and it was time for a renovation.

"OC Family"
We were there for some sports events for 2 nights. Easy access to freeway and clean room, great free breakfast(fruits, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles. bagles,etc) Room was smaller than I thought but functional, toilet was very low. On the other hand, bathroom sink was too high. We did not want to stay any large Casino hotels. It was perfectly quiet and no cigarette smells. There were many restaurants and Stores around. We'll go back again definitely!!
