Just stayed there one night after machu pichu. Bed was super comfy.

The hotel is located minutes away from the main square. It was totally worth the money: beautiful rooms, courteous staff, and a grand breakfast. The staff was nice enough to prepare a boxed breakfast on the day we were leaving very early, around 4:30 am.

Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was a treat, with eggs made to order (including omellets), and all the rest. Hotel was about six blocks from the main square but worth the short walk for the good value.

The staff would go out of their way to help in about any way possible. The location is a little walk from the central square, but it is kind of nice to be a little away from the main congregation of tourists. The hotel also has a lot of character.

The room was nice and clean. It can get noisy from the courtyard where the breakfast is served. The staff is courteous and professional. It is a few minutes walk to the busy tourist area.

The only problem I had was the water temperature would fluxuate dramatically at times. The staff is awesome. They have a couple computers to use, but no printer connected. WiFi was very good and easy to use.

Well located, great cuicine, friendly staff, ok rooms. What else would you like? Tidy and fair rooms and public spaces. It is perfect for a trip to admire Cusco and the area (Machupichu, etc.) I would definitely pass the word to my friends and relatives. Very good for the rate.

Located walking distance to Plaza de Armas and the San Pedro market for great prices on those gifts for family and friends.The staff was very helpful by holding some additional luggage so I did not have to carry to Machu Picchu. Really great customer service ! The hotel picked us up at the airport and we arrived to a nice cup of coca tea , which there was a tea available downstairs all day . Breakfast was great . We left the hotel to hike the inca trail and left our bags with them . They were safe there and highly reccomend this hotel . We had a terrible experience here, we arrived from machu picchu exhausted, the hotel is pretty far from the main plaza and when we got to our room there was no hot water. They kept on saying they would fix it but it didnt work until the next morning. No wifi in rooms, terrible connection in lobby.

Very reasonable and very nice small hotel close to center of Cuzco. Very clean (this is important in Cuzco) with nice staff. Breakfast was great and was included. They kept our bags over the 4 day "inca Trail" hike at no charge. There is a supermarket down the block.

My plan was to fly in to Cusco, then travel immediately to Ollantaytambo prior to Machu Picchu. Then return and spend 2 nights at this hotel. This hotel offers complimentary airport transfers. Prior to my trip, I emailed this hotel to request the transfer 2 days prior to my reservation (on the day I arrived in Cusco) so that I could leave a bag there […] prior to traveling on to Cusco (the train to Machu Picchu restricts luggage). There was no one waiting for me when I arrived. I had tons of taxi drivers harrassing me. One took pity on me and called the hotel for me. When I finally spoke to someone at the hotel they said they didn't have room for me that night. I explained I didn't NEED a room - I had resevations 2 days away, I just needed the transfer to leave a bag. They said their policy didn't allow that even though I had an email confirmation that they would meet me. In the end, the taxi driver that offered his phone took me to the hotel on my dime. Having said that, the breakfast was good and aside from the above, the service was great. The room is pretty noisy overlooking the courtyard and it got extremely warm. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Neil was particularly nice and helped us with the sites in Cusco. Our room was very large and clean. The bathroom was small, but clean. I didn't like that there wasn't an outside window; the only window opened to the atrium and had no ventilation. There was a supermarket across the street and the San Pedro […] Mercado was just at the end of the block. They provided free coca tea, leaves and oxygen. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a good location and within a walk able distance to the main square and restaurants. Breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. This is not a high-end hotel, but definitely comparable to what you would expect for a 3 star hotel.

Had great 3 nights at Terra Andina. Hotel staff went out of their way for our comfort and requests (ie taxis, voltage converters, printing boarding passes, etc) Located central to all sites. Awesome breakfast buffet each morning.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the central square, at a slight uphill. It's just a few feet from the big San Pedro market, and a modern supermarket. It's a very nice hotel, has good free WIFI, good free breakfast, and free airport pickup. The room was large and comfortable, but with a few problems: a) hot water was always available, but have […] to let the water run for a couple of minutes before the hot water arrives, which is very wasteful. b) our room had a section of opaque glass wall that did not have a curtain, so bright sunlight came in starting before 5 AM... (what's the sun doing up so early?!) There was also a small internal window whose curtain did not completely block light from the corridor. c) soundproofing is lacking; the place gets a bit noisy in the very early morning when the staff set up breakfast and people shower and prepare for their trips. This noise, along with the early dawn light coming in, means you wake up around 5 AM whether or not you need to, but may be able to sleep more after people take off. Read more

This hotel does not have any window that opens to the outside. The window opens to the enclosed courtyard of the hotel. Cannot control the temperature. after taking a shower, the moisture would fill up and room and would take forever to leave the room. Our room at this hotel was much smaller than the the other hotel's that was half the price in Cusco […] and we were on the first floor where we could here everything that happened at the hotel's courtyard. Another thing, someone (employee we think), barged in at 6am. probably by mistake, but for the price I am paying, it's not what I am expecting. The staff at Terra Andina were friendly and helpful from booking us taxi's to storing our bags while we went to Machu Picchu and then having our bag brought to our room when we returned after our Machu Picchu trip. We were brought coca tea when we arrived to help with the altitude sickness. The rooms are comfortable, but can be noisey as they all face […] the atrium and the walls/windows seem to be thin. There are no outside facing windows, but I don't think this is uncommon. Wi-fi is free throughout and there is a flat screen television in the room. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Although the hotel is a very nice one with a very nice staff, I'm still in shock at the 8:30am checkout. It's beyond too early, espcially if you are going to Cusco for hiking or to see Machupichu. you'll need time to recuperate and that's just unacceptable to me.

Terra Andina is a nice mid-range hotel with a fantastic breakfast and pleasant staff. Definitely would recommend this hotel for its location to The Plaza de Armas and the The Mercado San Pedro.
