Hotel lobby was nice and welcoming but the hotel corridors and elevator were very dark and depressing. Room was clean and tidy but one major downfall about the room was that the electric fireplace was not working!! We turned it on for 1 minute and then it started making loud grinding noises thus we could not sue the electric fireplace and and had to stick to the central heating unit which was very slow at heating up the room. The first night in the room had to be spent under the warmth of the sheets.

Staff was wonderful, very nice, professional and checkin was a breeze. We ate breakfast in the hotel, the meals was fair, not great, but again staff was excellent. WiFi was free that's was a bonus, I felt like they weren't trying to nickel and dime you. I liked that the casino was close by, fun for the cold nights.

The hotel was well situated for my purpose. The bed and bathroom we fine. The big problem was the loud fan in the room. In order for the room to be warm, the noisy fan had to be on. It was impossible to sleep with the noise and the draught in the room. I think the heating system needs modernizing!
