Nice hotel, but far from the city center, it takes a good hour to reach main sites, Metro station is 15 minutes walk. On the bright side, if you fly to Domodedovo Airport is convenient. I asked for a wake up call two days in a row and no one called me, the staff though polite in general, seems indifferent at times

The Hotel Milan was wonderful. It was reasonable priced in comparason to other Moscow hotels. There is a mall across the street from the hotel with a food court that was very inexpensive in comparison to the hotel's prices. Over all, I highly reccomend it.

You never know when you book a hotel overseas, but thanks to other customer comments, we selected the Hotel Milan and could not be more pleased. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everyone involved in direct customer contact spoke excellent Englishy; they were beyond helpful, even phoning another hotel for a stay later in our visit and explaining […] our request to the other hotel. They were friendly, smiling, and very accomodating. We were very impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to others. Our only complain was that their price increased on Friday and Saturday, so we could not afford to stay there on the return trip through Moscow. The taxi they reserved for us met us at the airport with a clear sign and he was very helpful. In the morning, we took the shuttle back tothe hotel, and again, the driver was very prompt and helpful. Hotel was very nice to allow for an early check-in so that we had the whole day free to visit Moscow. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful lobby, spacious and comfortable room. If staying at hotel, if you don't want to walk to metro station, check if you can take a bus, then transfer to the metro. Hotel staff said it was a 10 minute walk, but that would be walking at a very fast clip. However, once you're at the Metro, you can easily reach any destination in Moscow. Hotel was superb and staffs were cordial, speak GOOD English and wonderful. Enjoyed my 12days stay with my family. The shopping mall across the road made things a lot easier. The domo airport was closely as well. However, the main restaurant was always used for other functions which prevented guests from having Lunch or Dinner if you wanted. Great hotel, english capable staff. I stay here regularly and enjoy it, my Russian wife loves it. The harp player at the elegant buffet breakfast is a nice classy new touch. You get way more than you pay for here. If it doesn't bother you to walk about 4 normal city blocks to the south to get the metro than this is your place. I really like this hotel for my purposes - usually fly into Domodedovo airport and head to Lukova the next day. This hotel is perfectly located between the two airports, much better than fighting downtown traffic for a rest break. Rooms are big and new and very comfortable.

Hotel is in the suburbs and has a nearby metro link to the centre of Moscow, which takes about 30 minutes. The room was large and the bed huge. Although in a residential and shopping area it was quiet in the hotel. Food is excellent, both for breakfast and in the evening. Staff strive to fulfill your needs. Very good hotel, with an excellent breakfast buffet. The main hic with this hotel is that it is quite far from the City center (close to 1 hour in Subway), and still not very close to the Domodedovo airport. The hotel itself is walking distance (15 min) from the closest subway station in a safe neighbourhood. You have to pay for a very slow "high speed […] cabled internet" access. Forget watching TV or connecting to a VPN service. Free wireless access is available in the lobby area, but the speed is no better. Mini bar prices are very high, but there is a 24 hours service station with all you need halfway between the hotel and the subway. There are a few basic restaurants within walking distance. Tres bon hotel, la decoration du hall, du restaurant et autres pieces communes est tres reussie. Celle de la chambre, plus classique. La presence d'une harpiste au petit dejeuner est "le petit plus qui fait la difference". Le staff etait tres accueillant, je ne sais pas par contre s'ils parlent francais (je ne pense pas), mais en anglais sans aucun […] soucis. La chambre etait tres grande et propre, je m'attendais a une salle de bain un peu plus grande mais elle reste convenable. Le seul petit reproche pourrait venir de l'emplacement, assez eloigne du centre, et surtout de la station de metro, il faut compter 15 min a pied + 30 min en metro pour rejoindre le centre. Cela reste tout de meme correct. On notera egalement la presence d'un centre commercial Auchan en face au cas ou (j'avais besoin d'un nouveau rasoir par exemple). Je suis reste 4 nuits, la 4e etant offerte, le rapport qualite/prix est vraiment excelent. N'hesitez pas. Je pense revenir dans cet hotel pour mon prochain sejour a Moscou. Read more
