This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

Na Balam got some underserved poor scores. The location happened to be the best location on the island (as far as beaches go), and fairly convenient to excitement of down town. The grounds were spectacular, and for such a reasonable price. Front desk and beach bar staff were not amazing, but not bad either. They could do some training on customer service in order to make it a more magical experience, but all in all, it was acceptable service.

"Beautiful resort"
The resort was wonderful! Our rooms were upgraded to junior suites since it was our honeymoon. The staff was very nice and attentive. The restaurants were all good but one was exceptional which was " The Flavour Market " . Overall i really loved the hotel, but if you like the city type of hotel, this is not for you. Tips when going to Mexico : - Rent […] a car , cabs are ridiculously expensive! A fifteen minute ride to the market is 28 usd one way! Its really robbery. - Do not fall for the timeshare sales pitch just to get cheaper rates. Its not worth it ! They say 90 minutes but we ended up wasting 5 hours of the day. They never let you leave when you say " no!". Read more

"Stunning hotel, ultimate relaxation"
We LOVED this hotel. We wanted to visit a resort where we could completely unwind and relax and we achieved this at Excellence Playa Mujeres. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious, the service was amazing - always quick and with a smile. The people that work there are incredibly friendly and happy. The pool was perfect temperature and always […] clean; the sunbeds were really comfortable and the hammocks in the pool were the ultimate place to relax. We also had a massage on the beach and it was wonderful. Our room was huge and spacious and very clean. There is a turn down service in the evening where your bathroom gets tidied, the bed is turned down and the blinds are closed so you can come back to your room and fall into bed. The night entertainment is great - acrobatics, magicians, comedy, singing, etc. All very enjoyable. The resort is incredibly peaceful, helped by the fact it is an adults-only resort. It is quite depressing to know that we won't be able to visit when we have children in the next couple of years :( I am unable to fault this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to go on a holiday and do nothing but relax. "Excellence is excellent"
We spent a week in Cancun at Excellence Playa Mujeres, and it was a wonderful stay. We learned from this experience that All Inclusive at a secluded 5 star hotel is not for us. We got restless pretty quick and since the hotel is situated a 20 minute drive from Cancun we would not go back. Environments, staff and service was highly luxurious and professional.
