"Consistently Good Experience"
I have stayed at the O Hotel about 6 times in the past year for business and it has been a good experience each time I will be booking rooms there in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Small room, shower was odd, no drawers bit of challenge. Otherwise good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient downtown location"
This is a comfortable, quiet hotel, but the bathrooms are tiny and the shower is a hand-held only!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean but dark"
The hotel was fine for a few days of business. I was there for a conference at another hotel and mostly used my room for sleeping. The room and the hotel were dark. My room had a small window that looked out on a light well, though very little light actually got through. The picture on the website must be for one of the street facing rooms. The closet […] space was minimal and while they provided pants hangers, the depth of the space didn't allow for pants to hang full length without hitting the bottom. On the positive side, they had a nice big flat screen and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also very nice. I would probably look for another hotel if I was returning to downtown LA but it was fine for the few days I was there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay downtown"
Rooms were small but updated and clean. Cool bar and restaurant downstairs. Great hotel for the money.Genuine Expedia guest review
Although the hotel itself was pretty sweet, I couldn't believe the size, or lack of size, of our room. It looked much larger in the picture on expedia. I just expected more for how much we paid. It WAS conveniently located in the heart of the down down LA area, which was nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location for the Staples Center"
I thought this place was great! Different like I have experienced before, but it was a good "different." Parking garage is conveniently next door, and the service was very personable and welcoming.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was good for short stay. Convenient to train station and Staple Center.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very standard hotel with uncomfortable beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not that great"
Hotel is in an old apartment building that has been renovated. Rooms have been redone but are amazingly small and cramped. Bathrooms and closet space nonexistent. Good proximity to LA Live. Extremely noisy area in the morning. Mediocre.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Its good for a 1 night stay"
Room is decent but very dark. In addition the bathroom is very small and compact with that being said you flood your bathroom because of the shower handle which is pointed at an angle which allows the water to go through the gaps and wet everything in the bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel in the middle of the city"
The remodel of the old hotel was done quite nicely. I stayed for only one night, but I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, aside from the noisiness of the locals. There was quite a bit of commotion that could be heard throughout the night - though that may just be a city-center thing more than anything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Downtown Hotel with easy access out of the city"
Was in LA on work; the hotel had all necessary amenities and was very comfortable. The parking is conveniently located next door to the hotel; be prepared to pay $18/day. There is also a $14/day resort charge that includes Wi-Fi and the gym. The (Gold's) gym is two blocks away. I did not venture out to see it; not an ideal location to walk alone late […] at night. Wi-Fi worked great. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"6 am wake up"
Was woken up at 6 am by loud trash trucks outside the window that continued through out the morningGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice hotel overall, staff is very friendly and willing to give you directions as to where to go, public transportation etc. I would recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had me and my wife at your hotel I had a wonderful time the front desk was awesome his name is Chris.d very helpful guy played along with faking out my wife thank you guys It was very awesome will be there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Don't trust pics. Room really small, no view . U can get a better room for price of 200. Don't GO, area not the best!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overpriced for amenities"
The rooms only view was a concrete block wall. The shower leaked all over the floor, but the sink wouldn't drain. The complimentary breakfast consisted of cold cereal and stale Danish. The staff was indifferent when I expressed my complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Too many options in LA! Say NO to the O"
I travel to 50 hotels per year as part of my job. The O is honestly the worst I've stayed in out of 50! Walls are paper thin, I could hear me neighbors. They lack their own parking garage so expect to park next door with some very unsavory looking characters. The accents and design is cheaply done. The hotel is eerily dark and would make a great film […] shoot for a 21st century horror movie. Dimly lit would be ideal for people with a hangover, or cataract surgery but not for 9-5ers. The floor of my room had white stains on the floor. Totally disgusting! I've stayed at the Luxe, the Westin and the Sirtaj in LA in the last month. Stay at any one of those, they are all leagues about this place. Do not be fooled by the 3.8 rating, its a 3.0 at best! Expect to spend $14.00 for Wi-Fi and continental breakfast. Also, I hate the communal soap fad that cheaper hotels are partaking in. I want my soap and shampoo individually wrapped. The thought of pushing down on a previously used vat of soap grosses me out! Hotels please stop doing that to save a buck! Go elsewhere. Stay only if you attended a Lakers or Clippers game and got drunk out of your mind and you want a place to crash and you only care about sleep. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is dark. Beds are small and hard. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for the room. Given it is downtown LA no more than $150. Short walk to Staples. $15 self parking (clerk said it was $12)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice, but the rooms are kind off small"
We had a great stay at the O hotel. The location is close to the Staple Center, and the decor was stylish.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Functional but nice"
Hotel staff were very courteous and responsive. Nice flatscreen tv could also be used for internet access - very cool. The only downsides were the small bathroom and dim lighting - everywhere from the hallways to the room itself. i recommend this hotel for people who are more interested in function than frills. Perfect for me!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great boutique hotel with a great location!"
This was my first time staying at the O Hotel and I must say, I was very happy with my stay. The staff was absolutely delightful and accommodating. I was able to check-in early and the room was quaint but, very comfortable. There is a great restaurant on site that is open late and serves a free continental breakfast to it's guests in the morning. A […] very nice touch I must say! Also, the hotel is in walking distance to LA Live / Staples Center / lots of restaurants and attractions. I didn't have to use my car once. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I would definitely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel but trying too hard to be a boutique"
I had a comfortable stay at the O Hotel Thursday Jan 31st. The room was small, as expected, but the bed was comfortable. What I found strange about the room was the bathroom had a handheld shower head which would spray water all over the bathroom. I appreciate that this is a new concept to have hand held shower heads like Europe, it did not work here […] and was a very uncomfortable experience. I didn't see this in any reveiw before, so thought I would put that up in a review now. However, if you know about the shower head going into staying there, you should be fine. The restaurant was good and the staff was overall very nice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. It was dark and dingy. The bathroom was so small I hit the walls trying to brush my hair. The counter was the size of the sink so I had to put my toiletries on the floor to use them. I wore flipflops in the shower because the tile was disgusting. The halls smelled like garbage. There were four […] outlets in the room but only one worked. The walls had some sort of black marks all over them. Didn't know what they were but it shows that this hotel does not bother to maintain it's appearance at all. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just not worth the price."
For the price I paid, the room was small and dusty. When I turned on the a.c., dust blew everywhere and my allergies were triggered. On a positive note, I ordered from the room service menu. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my food allergies. Bed was comfy too.Genuine Expedia guest review
the beds and pillows were comfortable. the roll was so/so as far as being "clean" the showers we funky, very euro feel the iron and iron board were terrible. As a business traveler not friendly and the hallways were dark and uninviting.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Bad customer service Leaking shower TV didn't work Tiny room Definitely not worth the priceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Terrible hotel for the price in DT LA"
For the price at 185/night, it has to be one of the worst hotels in downtown LA. Putting accent lighting around the bed and the wall does not make it luxurious. The bed was uncomfortable, shower stayed hot for less then 5 minutes and bagels/cereal is not a continental breakfast. Strongly suggest not staying in this hotel while in LA.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel rooms are creatively set up. Very detailed. The Finishing touches are sloppy. The rooms are not clean up to a high standard. They are certainly not dirty. Well enough. Breakfast was below expectations I expected variety in the way it was explained the day before. Location is perfect and de service is very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"all things considered"
Pulled up to the curb, found out "parking" was the public pay lot next door... $12/day... paid for a larger room with city view, was given what I would assume is the smallest room with an alley view. Front desk corrected quickly, but not a good start. Great nights sleep, and a very nice shower for an LA hotel. Started day two with a continental breakfast... […] cold pastries and coffee... returned to my room and keys not working... two day booking and another inattentive act by the front desk. Dinner at the restaurant was awesome, but they are light on the drinks unless you ask for something specific. After all this you ask "would come back?" and I say yes. The little bumps were outweighed by the quality of the total product. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Nokia but away from the crowd"
I liked it and would return. Someone reviewed it as "euro style", yes it is. Comfortable, clean, modern, smaller rooms, not a high-rise. Close walk but away from the hubbub that surrounds the Nokia. Less expensive too. Just was I was looking for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice location, mean service"
The facility was clean and quaint. The staff was very rude when we checked in and had attitude. To top it off we were given a room at the back which is right above a bar that was open until 2 am.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Pretty good stay"
Hotel is very small. Staff was very polite and helpful. Great drinks at the bar but the food wasn't my cup of tea. Good location for Nokia theater/staples etc. Oh! The showers are really weird. Shampoo and soaps were nice though. Beds were very comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Awful customer service!"
There was loud construction being done on the room directly above from our room, we called and spoke to the front desk to let them know that it woke us up at 7:00 am on Sat morning, they claimed that there was no construction going on.. Even said they went up and found nothing. My husband and I couldn't believe it, we went up to see for ourselves, sure […] enough construct was clearly being done. The front desk stuck to their story -and didn't not offer and apology. Awful!!! Please do not waste your money on this hotel, their website is deceiving, it's a run down hotel that over charges people. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Clean and convenient. The hotel is a bot dark and the entry to my room was in the stairwell, which I found odd, but it was clean and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel is quite good, and I would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very Euro feel. Dimly lit , small lobby, too dark for my taste. Food terrific as was service. Parking awkward, no bell hops to help with bags from the city parking lot next door to hotel, but once there, it was a pleasant stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
good place to stay if your going to la live.the walk was not bad at all to and from la live day and night.think we found our hotel when we go to staples center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Boutique Hotel; convenient location downtown"
Great location if you have downtown business, particularly at the Convention Center - and if you don't want to spend Luxe or Ritz Carlton rates. Spectacular restaurant / bar; friendly staff. I always try to get a room here when I have business at LACC which is about twice a yearGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed overnight after a concert at the Staples center. The location is great, we were able to walk to the venue and near by restaurants, bars and grocery store. The hotel itself was pretty clean; the bedding was neat and tidy, but the furniture was dusty, uncomfortable chair at the desk, the window opens to a black, dusty screen that seemed to be precariously […] placed. The bathroom has a sliding door that doesn't completely shut you in, leaving zero privacy while in there. Whatever noise you make in the restroom is amplified throughout the small room. The sink fixture was made to look modern, but was too big for the space and seemed to be clogged as it filled with water. Lastly, the walls are thin. We heard every foot step above us, next to us and especially in the hallway outside our door. If someone is standing within 10 feet of your door, their conversation could be heard pretty clearly. Imagine a vacuum running in the hallway. It is certainly not one of those well-insulated, quiet rooms that you can escape to. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonably priced hotel in downtown LA"
This hotel was selected for it's reasonable price and location and it lived up to my expectations. Check in and out was easy. The room was small but functional. The bed and linen/pillows were excellent. Closet and drawer space was provided using an open concept and was just adequate. There was no tub, but the shower was spacious. I didn't use the restaurant […] but saw that a basic continental breakfast was provided. I would definitely use this hotel again. It met all my needs. I believe it's best for singles and couples, a family might have space issues. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Meh! Okay, but over priced for what you get."
The TV is really nice. The bed is okay. The room is small. There were skuff marks and torn wall paper in the room. The view from the window is fowl. It was a hotel roof full of garbage and run down HVAC ducts. The breakfast was pretty meh. The coffee cups were 4 oz at best. They charge you a $14 dollar a day resort fee for having 2 bottles of water […] in the room and for the breakfast. Both were things I could do with out. You have to go to the front desk for ice. I did enjoy the quiteness of the room. The total cost after tax and resort fee was $200 for 1 night. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
