Location was great. This is a complete room with small kitchen (stove, oven, micro, ref, dishwasher) great for extended stay with a grocery store near by. Lovely balcony and quiet.
"Blown away!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 30, 2012
For the price I would have expected to find 1/10th the quality. Location perfect for strolling Auckland's CBD. Well done, thank you!

"Excellent Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 23, 2012
Stayed at the Pullman 3 times; first two times in the Residence tower, the other in the older section. This review is for the newer Residence section (I would rate the older section a 2 out of 5, so make sure when you book to specify you want accommodation in the Residences). The residence rooms are beautifully appointed with all modern amenities and comfort. Very spacious and comfortable with expansive views. Recommend without hesitation. Great hotel staff!
"Big and Beautiful Hotel"Reviewed by Julie A of "NJ" on Apr 17, 2012
Loved the hotel and all it had to offer. My only complaint was about the 1/2 hour it took for the staff to bring our bags to the room...should have just taken them up ourselves. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Located on the ground floor, the 743 square metre Senses Spa comprises seven treatment rooms and offers a combination of ancient and modern therapies – from age-old Thai, Ayurvedic, and European massage techniques, to the latest in spa treatments. Open daily from mid-morning until late.
The spa uses Thalgo skin care products.
Signature Treatment – Traditional Thai Massage (1 hour, 30 minutes): NZ$180 (AU$162)
Thai massage is founded on the concept of invisible energy lines running through the body between critical acupressure points. Massaging these lines and points releases pressure, helps stimulate the body's healing mechanisms, and helps relieve pain. This session focuses on 10 main energy lines to help treat the whole body and internal organs. Energy points are pressed and general pressure is applied. Emphasis is placed on considerable muscle stretching.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Signature Treatment – Thalgo's Indoceane Vital Relaxation (1 hour, 30 minutes): NZ$200 (AU$180)
This treatment features the Thalgo marine therapy range. A Sweet & Savoury body scrub is followed by a stress-relieving relaxation massage. The body is then enveloped in a silky wrap, before being caressed with Thalgo's Sublime Cream.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Signature Treatment – Herbal Hot Compress (1 hour, 30 minutes): NZ$200 (AU$180)
A traditional Thai herbal therapy specifically designed to soothe muscle tension and stiffness. The session begins with the application of a warm herbal poultice containing a variety of therapeutic herbs and spices. The treatment concludes with a full body massage using specially selected herbal oils.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Renewal Package – Mer & Sens Hot Volcanic Stones (3 hours): NZ$340 (AU$306)
Harnessing the healing power of gentle heat, small stones are placed on key energy points. This helps release muscle tension before the stones are used for a full body massage. The treatment includes a hot stone exfoliation, hot stone massage, and hot stone facial massage.
Fee may not include tax and is subject to change without notice.
Body Experience – Frigi-Thalgo (45 minutes): NZ$100 (AU$90)
The simple vaso-constricting and cooling effect of this treatment makes hot, tired legs feel lighter and refreshed. The skin feels firmer and smoother.

On a peninsula overlooking scenic Waitemata Harbour, Auckland CBD is not only the country’s major business centre, but plays host to a concentration of artistic and cultural venues in addition to nightlife precincts. In more recent years, much of the waterfront has been reclaimed for high-end residential apartments, trendy cafes and bars, marinas, and public recreational use.

"Westin CBD/Harbor Auckland"
Did not realize I booked a Dbl Twin room. Wanted a queen bed for the wife & I. My mistake. The Westin placed our room at the 3rd level, 1 up from the street level at the corner of all the traffic. The windows did not decrease the sound from the cars, trucks, mopeds, people talking on the street - in all hrs of day or night. It was difficult to get a […] nap in the afternoon or to even sleep completely restful at night. Needed the rest after a very active holiday/vacation in New Zealand before returning back home on a long flight to the US. I would not recommend this Westin w/ the rooms on the street side again. Was very disappointed with the stay b/c of these factors. The Westin could build the room with much better sound dampening qualities. Otherwise, the quality of the room & service was as expected, excellent. Read more
"Westin Auckland - beautiful hotel, great location"
This hotel has lovely water features inside and outside. The food was excellent. And the location could not have been better. Far enough away from the main ferry terminal to be quiet yet easy walking distance to ferries, Queens street, the Sky Tower, etc. The staff were great. Concierge arranged our pickup at that airport via email in advance. We used […] the spa and found the services first rate. Whole thing was flawless. We loved it. Would highly recommend this hotel. "Would definitely go back!"
This hotel is central to some of of the best sites, and some excellent restaurants. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The only negative was that internet access had to be paid for. In this day and age, and when you are paying for a premium room, it should be included.
"Sensational hotel"
Amazing hotel ammenities, service and location. Try to get a view of the water. Incredible!.. and great breakfast cafe located inside the hotel.

"Great location - but!!!"
We arrived late (8.45pm) the building was in darkness. To right as you enter there is a reception desk that asks you to go to the 3rd floor - trundle to the lift, get out and then try to find the small office being used as reception! There we were greeted by this young lady who was very perplexed as to why we would be there?? I mentioned that we had […] a reservation - a blank look appeared, she proceeded to tell us that we had no booking with them and perhaps it was with the other hotel - you can imagine my confusion! She agreed to take me down to find the other reception - yes if i had walked to the left down the entrance area i too would have found it... I thanked her and she left, after commenting that this was her first day in the job. Once at this reception it took some time to check in as they had registered us under my christian name not my surname as booked. We were then advised that there was no parking however we could valet park for $30.00 additional, we were tired so elected to take this option. When asked about the internet we were advised that there was in an room service at a cost of $24.95 per 24 hour period or we could come back down to reception and sit in the public area and use the complimentary WI-Fi option, we chose neither at at this point we were past the hassle... The room on entering was very well laid out, very clean, however the sheets has pilling on them and felt like sandpaper on bare legs! The cost of the min-bar is outrageous with $10.00 for a bottle of water!! We went down in the morning to have breakfast at a small cafe called TOAST - great food however you had to be mindful about the birds (sparrows) flying over your head and food whilst inside - not once did any staff member try to remove the birds - not a pleasant way to have to eat your breakfast! We would not recommend this hotel as there is so much confusion on arrival as to where to go to check in, the staff are lovely but must be working under very difficult circumstances. Roo Read more
"Westin - Auckland"
The hotel itself is great and I have stayed (with work) several times previously, however - the service and poor attitude started with a grumpy and sour receptionist at checkin and was completed by extraordinarly poor "service" over breakfast the next day. My wifes food order was wrong and the kitchen took 40 minutes to rectify "their" problem. In-short […] - hotel is great, service was 2 star. Read more
