"Felt like a Million"
From the time we walked in with the valets/bellmen, to the counter staff, to the maid service to the restaurant Bleu, everyone had a concern that we were taken care of. They did not bug us and had great healthy conversation. My husband and I do a lot of personal and business travel. This hotel had the BEST Valets EVER!!! This stay in the city we live […] in was to re-organize some business ideas, which happened. A lot was going on at the Fed ex Forum, Beale Street and in the Westin, but you'd never know. "Second class citizen!!!"
I stayed at the westin because i like the quality and the service tou get at this type of hotel being its over $200 per night. There was a basketball game the next night and a player strolled thru the lobby. I of course took a pic with my phone as most people would. The hotel staff rushed me and said they would call the police and make me leave my room […] if i took another one. I didnt want to spend the night in a memphis jail so i put my ohine away and went to my room. Once i got there it made me sick to think i oaid this much for a room and the hotel staff wanted to cause teouble for me when i was doing nothing wrong. I felt like i got discriminated against trrated like a second class citizen. There are plenty of hign end hotels that want your business. Choose the ones that want to treat you like first class citizen's. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall, excellent stay"
Awesome hotel for a weekend getaway to Memphis. Fantastic location for access to Beale Street. The parking garage was very convenient and I liked that to get into the hotel from the garage, or onto the floors from the elevator, it required room key access. The beds/bedding were AMAZING. I was disapointed that the Starbucks was around the corner, not […] as easily accessible as I thought. Also, there were minor signs of wear and tear- chipped artwork in the halls, chipped tile in the bathroom, a toilet that constantly ran. Not HUGE issues, but enough to irritate if you're gonna spend this kind of money. Also, no breakfast provided. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Better Options Elsewhere; Frustrating Stay"
Kim in customer service likes to antagonize instead of defusing the situation. Air conditioning issue upon arrival; kept telling me maintenance would be up to check, then found it was a hotel wide issue. Lack of communication and then the actions of the customer service staff was what allows for the bad review. The carpets/elevator floors dirty throughout […] the hotel; tables at elevators in foyer, dusty, dirty and smeared. Great facility & location, but they need to work on their customer service and cleanliness. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Late check in"
The stay was as expected other than the check in. We arrived at 3:00 pm (check in time) but couldn't check in until 5:00 pm. No apology just a comment that this happens sometimes... At check out we mentioned this and the parking fee was waived...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Difficult to get through to the front desk. Pre-ordered our car, from Valet service the night before our departure but the night staff didn't inform the morning staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"will stay again"
We went to Memphis for dinner and a show at the Orpheum. We walked to the Orpheum and Beale Str easily from our hotel and felt safe the whole time. The hotel is older, so a few signs of age, but very enjoyable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Solid across the board"
Every contact point (desk, valet, bar) was top notch. Hotel atmosphere and design were modern, clean, and inviting. Great location. Even better value, given alternatives. Ordered room service and some of the food was average, but hey, you're in Memphis, you shouldn't be eating in your room anyway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent in all respects and fantastic locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"This IS a downtown Hotel"
For a great nights sleep, this is a good hotel. The beds are wonderful, and the outside noise is minimal. We were there for an extended weekend and didnt realize the FedEx Forum was across the street from us on one side and the Gibson Center on the other. Both places had events while we were there, the only challenge was waiting for valet to bring the […] car. Parking is $25.00 a day at the hotel. You pay for wifi. The location for us was great, you can walk to breakfast and all around downtown and Beale street. The hotel has a "green" option where you can have your room cleaned/beds done on the days you want. Being from a drought state i thought this was a good idea. The problem was the staff didnt replace all the hotel products on the days i wanted the room done so i had to call down and wait 15 min for items to be brought up. Overal the hotel was good, i would probably try another option on a return trip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great beale street location"
The hotel staff were excellent it was our anniversary and the hotel staff had chocolate covered strawberries in the room upon arrival or check-in. The trip was centered around Beale Street which was located a block around the corner. A great time my wife first time to memphis and she had an enjoyable trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved It! Staff was Very friendly and helpfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We could not have asked for a better location. And the hotel was beautiful. On top of it all,you could check out a Gibson guitar. What a treat! We also ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent! A+++Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only down fall is you have to pay for parking. The Hotel Staff is great along with the Valet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in all the action of Beale St"
This hotel was incredible, when we checked in the staff took extra care to make sure we had a suitable hotel room with a roll in shower for my uncle. Everyone was SO pleasant and helpful. The food and service in the hotel bar/ restaurant was outstanding and Casey, the bartender was great. Definitely would stay here again if I'm going to Memphis.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is very nice. The only major issue is you have to pay for parking and wifi.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel close to downtown activity!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Right on Bwale street. As a Memphian, this place is perfect to get anywhere in town. Across the street from the FedEx forum as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Pretty spectacular hotel. Very luxurious stop on our cross country tour.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Orpheum"
Quick check in, very clean room, no noise from Beal street. Short walk to Orpheum & CSN concert. Nice breakfast in attractive hotel restaurant next morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel staff can make or break your stay and the staff here was incredible. Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We stopped here as my husband wanted to tour the Gibson Guitar Factory which is right across the street. He wasn't overly impressed with that (as compared to the Fender tour he had been on previously in California), but he […] was THRILLED when he realized the guitars on display in the lobby were available to rent, free of charge! That just put our stay over the top. We also had a view of Beale St from our room and it was also within very easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this place, the only downfall being the charge for wifi. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Seeing Memphis in one day"
We were here only one night; the hotel is very close to Beale Street so it was a short walk to find someplace to go for dinner with live music. The front desk clerk was very friendly and when we returned from dinner so asked us about our outing. Since we were there only one night didn't check out the hotel in detail. The next morning we were off to […] Graceland. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient location to available sights"
I feel that the charge for WIFI usage was ridiculous in these days and times.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We checked in on a Friday, July 18th and checked out on Tuesday, July 22nd 2014. Our room was on the 5th floor facing Beale Street and we had to tolerate the loud music at night in our room until the wee hours of the morning the entire weekend. Not a good experience for us. We will not choose this hotel if we visit again. We will choose something not […] to close to Beale Street. We were travelling with our teenage grandchildren. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Walking distance from Beale street"
This hotel is literally right next to Beale. I would recommend it to everyone. Although is super close like (50 steps away, well more) it is super quiet. Staff is so friendly. Will be staying there again for sure! We had a few people come ask for money outside the hotel a few times but other than that the hotel is great!Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to Beale"
Location to Beale street is great.. just around the corner. Staff very friendly but a few on the night shift not great about follow through. A few times promises of call backs with needed information never came. Hotel is nice but getting run down. Mattress on bed was saggy in the middle, wallpaper coming off in corners, bathroom floor and shower sticky. […] The whole hotel from the hallways to the rooms had a chlorine smell to it. Valet staff very sweet and very helpful - directions, avoiding construction areas, fave restaurants and bars and clubs. Overall, a nice stay and great location but lack of detail keeps this from being a 4 star property. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Loved my stay at the Westin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Although we only stayed one night, I think this was my best stay ever. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to have us as guest. The only con is that the elevator seems to have a mind of its own, but this in no way diminishes my overall opinion.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I ATTENDED A MEETING IN MEMPHIS"
THE HOTEL WAS AT A GOOD LOCATION AND WAS VERY CONFORTABLEGenuine Expedia guest review
Went to see Graceland. So glad we stayed in the city! (area around Graceland not the greatest!). Beale St kind of reminded me of New Orleans, gets extremely loud at night (we did stay Fri and Sat though) so that was kind of an issue for us as we are older and didn't really want to go out to Beale St with the younger crowd. It was nice staying in this […] area though to see the Mississippi and a few downtown attractions. We just weren't huge fans of the Beale St night crowd, you can have open alcohol containers at night and it was still a mess in the morning (streets were sticky, ,trash cans overflowing, smell of stale beer everywhere, etc)....but what can you expect with this kind of night life? The Westin was nice, I'd recommend a room though that is not facing Beale Street solely due to the noise. The night view of the street though was quite gorgeous. Maybe it wouldn't be so loud not on the weekend. Just wanted to share, enjoy your trip! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great hotel; got the pleasure of staying in the presidential suite because my room was not ready.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel staff were great to deal with. My only issue was that the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Used this chain many times and they are a great hotel to stay at.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, close to the city center (Beale street"
We had a very nice and comfortable stay in the Westin hotel. We even received a fruit platter, as a welcome present, from the hotel staff. We definetly recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No room service options"
Arrived after a flight diversion at 1am. Starving so tried to order something from their 24 hour room service. Of the 8 or so items they had on their late night menu, they only had 1 in stock.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I guess you get what you pay for..."
It was a nice hotel. Very clean. Super pricey, but the location was hard to pass up. I'd probably stay there again, but I'd hope to pay less than nearly $200 a night. Other than the expenses, my only other negative review goes out to the woman who was working the front desk at about 3 a.m. She wasn't very friendly, but I suppose dealing with intoxicated […] guests at the time isn't for everyone. This is the perfect place to stay when in Memphis. There's so much to walk to. The Rock and Soul museum is right across the street and there's a shuttle that will pick you up free there and take you to Graceland and Sun Studios. Gibson Factory is across the street and Beale St. is right behind the hotel!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A hop, jump and a skip to Beale street"
Good experience, clean room. Fridge not cleaned out or restocked.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel!"
Designer rooms, superb location, friendly service! They also seem to take dogs so that's either a plus or a minus depending on one's perspective. PS Memphis is an up and coming city worth visiting, some urban issues but I still loved it. PPS Maybe some brighter lights would be convenient for shaving, this is seriously the only thing I can think of.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Enjoyed hotel very much. The rooms are very spacious, and amenities are excellent. It is a little noisy at night on the weekends, but you're next to Beale street. The music was wonderful.Genuine Expedia guest review
I loved the decor of the room and the wonderful goodies that the Westin had in the bathroom. The room had a great view of the Gibson Factory across the street. We walked around the corner to check out Beale Street. The only bummer is that you have to pay for wifi.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
