Having stayed at the Landis Hotel in Taipei, I expected Icon to offer the same service quality or better. After checking in, no one bothered to show us to our room and introduce us to the facilites available. I booked a harbor view room for an increased price. Sure there was a view of the harbor, if you looked to the left side. Directly outside my window was the rooftop of the mall. The concierge was helpful. I had one meal at the lobby cafe. My mom ordered a chowder in bread bowl. The bread came out toasted with green mold!! How did they miss that?! Killed our appetites immediately! I've read comments comparing Icon to the Four Seasons. One of our travel companions stayed there and I had an opportunity to rest in her room during our long afternoons in Hong Kong island. The hotel is impeccable and there was definitely no mold in our food.

Decent size room for Hong Kong. Definitely not huge but plenty big enough. Nice bathroom. Perfect Kowloon location. Clean and nice

"Great value for money"
I thought this hotel was very good. It is in a great central location. Futian is a nice location to stay. The staff are very friendly but, as is typical with many Chinese hotels, their English sometimes isn't fantastic and it can be confusing at times. The joys of travelling!! Order the American Breakfast in your room. It is the bomb! You get a HUGE […] selection of food and it is very tasty. Worth the money. The one real negative is that the restaurants aren't great. If you want something intimate, then this isn't the place to eat. We tried the on the ground floor initially but when we walked in, we walked away as it has a very cafeteria feel to it. We went upstairs to the Italian which is better, but still very cold and without character. The Chinese restaurants on the 5th floor may be better but I would advise getting some good advice prior to going to Shenzhen and eating out. Normally I would eat out anyway, but as we were on a romantic weekend, we'd already settled on the idea of staying in the hotel. In summary, great price, great room, great breakfast, tricky English but friendly staff and poor restaurants. Worth the money. Read more

this hotel is very nice, pretty good price. and spacious rooms. it has connecting rooms for families traveling together.

The hotel is a luxuary 5 star. the staff are very friendly and the hotel resturant is has varity of choices specaily for those who like western food. Unfortunately I did not have time to go the spa. I very much recommend it for those going on business or leasure trip.
