Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown - Pittsburgh

Everything was right there. We never moved the car from the hotel lot, we walked to Nola in Market Square, walked to the Consol Energy Center for a concert, walked back to the hotel. I would've liked a fridge in the room for cold drinks, but overall a great hotel, and great breakfast. I'd stay here again.

The staff was always attentive and prompt. Easy access to the Strip District but perhaps a shuttle to downtown would be good, even only every 2 hours. Room was clean, plenty of towels. My only negative is, with the generous size of rooms, the distance to the TV might warrant a larger screen. Free parking a bonus. I would surely stay here again.

This is definitely our favorite hotel in Pittsburgh. Staff is friendly anf suites are large and clean. Breakfast area was always well stocked and clean, pool was clean and plenty of towels. Hotel is in great downtown location.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to Pittsburgh. It is always a pleasure and suits my needs perfectly. They always endeavor to make everyone fee like family. Like the spacious rooms, good bathrooms and nice ammenities. For me the location is perfect.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. I think the best part was the large room and the awesome breakfast. We were able to walk to most extractions and the History Center was directly across the street from the hotel. We even walked to Mt. Washington!!! Very nice. I would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay in one of the King bed rooms at the Hampton Inn. It's central location to various downtown attractions, including the strip district, the Heinz History Center, and the Theater district drew us to this hotel for a weekend getaway. The King bed was HUGE and very comfortable. We were in town for the game and we going to drive and try to find a parking spot but they let us know that we could leave our car there and walk to the subway and ride straight to the stadium. The staff was really nice, however our comforter was dirty and totally wrinkled and there was leftover Chinese food left in the fridge by the previous guest. We were just happy there was so much to do there we we weren't in our room long enough to spot other things that werent cleaned.

We visited the city for Thanksgiving week. The location was fabulous! Parking was free! The staff was very helpful with directions, etc. Always had awesome breakfast. Kids loved the pool. Nightly snacks in the lobby. This was by far the nicest Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. Will definitely return!

My daughter got married at the Heinz History Center and we used this hotel for all the wedding party and many out-of-town guests. We were very happy with the service, location, and free parking. Location is excellent for tourists, and the price was good. I highly recommend this hotel.

Traveled here for a conference at the convention center. From the picture it just looked ":ok" from the outside. But the inside was wonderful and the location was perfect. I walked to my meetings in less than 10 minutes, past the pricier hotels with parking fees. The room was huge. I loved having a mini kitchen sink, microwave and frig. in addition […] to the spacious bathroom area with its own sink and shelves underneath for toiletry items. The separate sitting area was wonderful for watching TV. I also loved all the added little touches: paper towels at the sink, popcorn in the coffee basket, laptop pillow on the bed, and snacks in the lobby each evening. I had a great view from the 8th floor. The breakfast was good. Although I'm not a big early breakfast eater, it was possible to put items in the containers provided and save them for later. I would recommend Crystals for a carry out within walking distance. The free parking was a great bonus for a downtown hotel. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The average rate was higher than what I usually pay, but I got a great deal with advanced purchase through Expedia. I would definitely stay here again. Read more

I stayed here while attending a meeting at the Convention Center. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the main entrance of the convention center. Easy walk to the Strip District as well. Fast wireless, mine was free. Good buffet breakfast, again mine was free. It is a great bargain compared to the convention center hotels.
