Our recent stay at the Inn at Solitude was excellent. The location is very quiet -- no night life at all, which is what we were looking for. Nice place to stay, small, intimate village. This is not Park City, but great to get away from it all. Ski lift prices and lessons are much cheaper than Park City so a very good place to come and learn. The hotel is close to slopes and have a great locker room for your ski's..much appreciated. Food is good.

Not much more to say. It is super easy to get there, quiet, clean..and literally 10 steps off the mountain. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I had a great time. Just realize this, there isn't much around, if you go there for the mountain and that is enough for you(which it is for me) you will be happy.

Solitude Inn is definitely the perfect place for a romantic weekend of skiing. The rooms are very comfortable, with a very nice view on yhe mountain. We could test excellent wines from Idaho at the bar, the restaurant is excellent. Last but not least we've had one of our best massages after skiing. Our stay was fantastic. We had a room upgrade when we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was comfortable in size and in line with most two queen beds sized rooms. My wife and I spent five nights at Solitude and could not have had a better stay. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The restaurants in the village were just opening for the season, but the meals we had at St. Bernards (scallops!)and Kimi's (fondue) were the best we have had in Utah! super nice staff. clean rooms. and clean bathrooms. its not the ritz but it is great for a ski in/ ski out. the views were gorgeous. one of the beds in our room was a little uncomfortable but we had two and the other one was great. everyone was so nice and helpful. i loved the environment!

The Inn at Solitude is a nice hotel situated right at the base of Solitude Mountain. The room was large with a refrigerator. The Inn also has it's own heated pool and hot tub away from the central Club Solitude which was a nice thing to have when the Club hot tub was crowded. The hotel is part of a resort that includes a village, ski slopes and a couple restaurants. The hotel is quite nice - the room was just as advertised, we had a nice view of the slopes, it was spacious enough. Locker room for skis is handy, but it required a trip up/down stairs. Room could be noisy - one night we had very loud neighbors that kept us […] up much of the night. The access to the ski slopes was very nice - ski right there. The main drawback was the isolation of the resort and the lack of dining options. The resort is in a valley accessed by a twisty road that required snow tires/chains (not available from any rental car agency) and so we took a shuttle van from the airport. Shuttle less expensive than a rental, but then no transportation. Village has three dining options: hotel restaurant (good/expensive breakfast, slow service), a fancier restaurant which was overwhelmed the night we went and by the time our table was ready and our food came, we were all in a fairly negative mood. The last option is a little pizza/sandwich shop which really proved the most comfortable and fastest place. The pizza and sandwiches were good, but not fine dining. We stayed for a Thursday night-Sunday afternoon which was about as long as I'd recommend. The ski slopes are great with tons of snow and not at all crowded even on the weekends. However the resort is fairly small and after 3 days you've probably skied all the trails several times each, we did anyway. Read more

Me and a couple friends decided to go here based on the value of the hotel and the quality of the slopes. When we first arrived, someone helped us unload our car and showed us where the hot tub and other amenities were. The room was very comfortable but was a little too warm for our taste. With ski in/out privileges it was very quick and easy to gear […] up and head out to the slopes. The front desk sold discount tickets for all-day & junior passes. All other passes (half-day, beginner, etc) needed to be purchased across from the hotel for an undiscounted price. The hotel has ski lockers on the bottom floor and is spacious enough to hold three snowboards and a couple pair of boots. The village surrounding the Inn was very quaint and actually had pretty decent food. The slopes here are amazing. The lines were never too long, even on Saturday so you're able to venture around and go all over the mountain. We will definitely make it out here again!! Read more

Great location. Just steps to the ski lift. Solitude is a quiet resort, but the skiing is surprisingly good. Comfortable bed. The Inn has a nice ambience. Loved the spa. Very much enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Everything seemed quiet here. Few eating options apart from fine dining. Hard to get decent breakfast other than hotel (empty so not inviting) or breakfast burritos I don't like.
