This was a fantastic pick for us. The hotel is beautiful and extremely comfortable, with views of the Tuscany hills that are nothing short of stunning. And the service is warm and unusually helpful; we received extraordinary help on what towns to visit, how to get there, and what vineyards and restaurants were worth our time. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We loved the hotel and its location in Montepulciano. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. From getting us set up in our wonderful room (the views are terrific), to recommending a great bottle of wine and even setting us up with transportation to a local winery and to the train station. You won't go wrong with a stay at Osteria del Borgo!

My wife and I traveled to Cortona as part of our Italian honeymoon. Hotel Italia is very comfortable and accommodating. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all ways, including assisting us with travel/tourist questions. The room was very clean and the free breakfast from 8-10 was very good. We would definitely stay here again!

Spread along a narrow ridge, Montepulciano is one of Tuscany’s highest hill-towns. On main transport routes from Siena and Florence, it makes a fine touring base. Foremost among a medley of photogenic palaces and churches within its ancient walls is the exquisitely proportioned Madonna di San Biagio. The region’s Vino Nobile wine draws many visitors, as does its July jazz festival and a barrel race through the streets in late August.

The hotel is located on top of a mountain with a huge swimming pool and gorgeous view. A delicious breakfast buffet was included in the price. Our room was OK however nothing extraordinary, we were there for our honeymoon and expected a room with a front view which is nicer than the one we had. Also the bathrooms are a bit outdated. Quite a modern styled hotel with stunning views. The food here is very good and the Spa is lovely. It was a little quiet when we stayed here but that meant we had the fabulous pool to ourselves. I would recommend staying here for a relaxing break.

Posto bellissimo e comodo da raggiungere. Massima tranquillità, relax garantito, 3 piscine ok. Ottimo servizio bar della piscina, lettini, teli mare ok. Camera ottima. Colazione molto buona, il ristorante (toscano) in loco non eccelso ma buono, si trova di meglio fuori. Spa ottima.
