Explain to me please! Why is the standard single room so reminiscent asylum of Berber hermit? In this room, I was scared and lonely = ( Big mistake, that in the process of choosing the hotel, I could not see the real pictures of accommodation in standard single rooms and standard double room!

The staff were friendly and helpfull and luckily spoke good English as my French, Berber & Arabic all suck. The food was to a good standard, location wise the hotel is next to the Royal Palace in the south so it is a fair walk to the main areas of interest. But even that wasn't a huge disadvantage.

We went to Marrakesh to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and chose Les Borjs de la Kasbah based on the reviews, we were not disappointed barring one small or two small details. The bad bit first, the room was en-suite bathroom which is in need of redecoration especially the shower, but its always warm and the shower is perfect for that quick […] refresher. Location of Riad. The Riad is situated deep within Kasbah on approach it can be daunting, as we felt the first night driving in at 1 o'clock in the morning. My early morning stroll proved otherwise. The locals are some of the most friendliest people I have met in my travels. They are the best point of call for directions, a small price to pay is that they will want you to visit one of their family owned shops. A local tourist map is available but everything seems further away then it is. After spending the first few days taking taxis everywhere we discovered that all the main sites including the big market are all within walking distance. The staff' 5/5 As mentioned before us the staff are exceptional, very helpful and make the service feel very personal Who will benefit most Couples, we have two children and wouldn't consider taking our children to Marrakesh, other parts of Morocco are better suited. I was in Marrakesh for a 2 night break in the run-up to the Olympics. I was a sole traveller having some R & R and this was the place to go. As soon as I entered the cool calm of the hotel and was given a mint tea welcome, I felt relaxed. My room was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was tucked away to the South of Gemma Place and a good 10min walk, the only problem being crossing the roads to get there. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the staff were extremely friendy and all spoke reasonable English. We had two evening meals at the hotel and both were of a good standard. We've just returned from four nights at BK and it is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. From the smooth airport pick up, to the welcoming reception, the clean, spacious room (we had a standard room), the beautiful building and grounds, and the outstanding service from all staff - I'm not sure there is anything I could fault here. Breakfast […] was varied and tasty - thoroughly recommend the homemade yogurt and orange juice! Snacks available from the poolside bar were appetizing and portion size was generous. Dinner was superb - in fact, probably the best meals we had in Marrakesh were at the hotel! Tagine, harira, cous cous - all recommended. The spa was lovely. Small but perfectly serviceable. My partner and I both had a hammam, as well as a whole body massage and a foot massage, respectively. Swimming pool area was always clean (in fact, whole hotel was always clean!) and such a treat after the heat of the day! It's a 15/20 minute walk to the main square, but an ideal way to see everyday life in Marrakesh. 15 minutes to Badi Palace and only 10 minutes to the Saadian Tombs. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from the main square which was great as you were away from the hetic goings on but close enough if you wanted to visit. The hotel can organise some good excursions and the staff were helpful in suggesting which ones to take given the length on our stay. If you are looking to buy Argen Oil you would be better buying in the hotel as it is 100% authentic and cheaper than buying second rate oil in the souks or pharmacy. Loved this hotel in Kasbah. When the guy bringing up our luggage refused a tip we knew the place was fine. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but frankly food in Morocco is rubbish so relatively it was fine.
