Our third stay in this Victorian styled inn and motel. Great charm and helpful service people. Internet was slow, however, and food was not as good as the other two times. Room was clean and quiet atmosphere.

"NEW AND FULLFILLING, STAY HERE"
The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Winchester, VA, is a very new hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool. Although the pool was on the smaller size, it was 3 to 5 feet deep and could be fully enjoyed by everyone there. There are pleanty of restaurants within a few hunded feet and a movie theater that is practically across the parking lot. "No power nightmare"

A two-night stay which we enjoyed. Absolutely super breakfast, and nice amenities in room--refrig, microwave, TV. Our only area of quasi-dissatisfaction is with the comfort of the chairs and the lighting. We read a great deal and the lighting was not up to par for that purpose. For the price we paid, this was an outstanding hotel. We never tried Country Inn & Suites before and we were pleasantly surprised. They had a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, plus toast bagels, cereals, muffins, etc. Compared to the other hotels we stayed in on our trip, they were more expensive, gave us less, wasn't as […] clean or comfortable as this hotel. My daughter and I were traveling the Northeast visiting various colleges. We stayed at a number of hotels and this one was, by far, the best! The property was well maintained; the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. "Overnight with small children"
My daughter and I were traveling with her two children enroute to a family funteral. It was wonderful having the indoor pool for the children to relax in before bedtime. We found this establishment a great joy to stay at. The room was clean, comforatble and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Our breakfasts were well prepared, even thought they were the usual hotel fare. The eating area was clean and well stocked, and the hostess very friendly. The pool is rented out by a company providing swimming lessons and water aerobics to the general public. It is a pain as the lessons start at 3pm and aerobics doesn't stop until 8:30pm. Very inconvenient if you have kids. You can pay extra and join the class if you want but no use of the pool during that time without paying the fee! This is a very clean hotel with polite and friendly employees. The free breakfast is outstanding, plenty items to choose from. The hotel is right off the interstate and a gas station right next to hotel to fill up when you're ready to get back on the road. Nice restaurants to choose from but most close by 11:00pm so get out early. There's a movie theater […] in the same parking lot of the hotel along with the restaurants.
