"Low End Motel"
OK, did read reviews. Housekeeping checked us in and was helpful with one request. WiFi , be AWARE, may have gotten virus from their network. Laptop has not worked since. Bfast was basic cont. type. Location is good. Shop around, would not bring girlfriend or family here, walls are too thin. Price was cheap so we got what we paid for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"wouldn't go back"
The toilet overflowed when our neighbor flushed. The shower is tiny with a curtain that drips water on the floor. The bed was wobbly. Breakfast was a wash for me since they didn't have anything gluten-free, and even the coffee was terrible. I would either pay the extra money to stay somewhere else, or stay further away for cheaper. The Super 8 in White […] River Junction was much better and we paid half the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Not the cleanest or well maintained place around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Booked hillside inn for last min killington trip, place is like an old run down motel 6, definitely not worth 179 a nite. That being said the room was clean and close to killington.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Paper thin walls. We were up all night listening to our neighbors! But a good location. Note the breakfast is only continental.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Budget Stay"
Given what other hotels on the access road cost, this was a bargain. A bit dated , but clean. Only real complaint was parking. A couple of times we had to park on the road along side the hotel. It was quite a walk when it's 0 degrees out. Other than that, I'd stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was very disappointed in this hotel the only thing they had going for them is there 5 minutes away from killington. The lady that was at the desk wasn't inviting or helpful. The bathroom shower had other people hair in it, and make sure you go on a day that it doesn't snow or rain cause you'll get stuck down the hillGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great for budget, but wrong sheets."
The room was nice and well priced. Our first problem was that we pulled back the bedding to get in and there were two different colored hairs on one of the pillows- gross! So we chose the other bed instead, but the wrong sized top sheet was on for the first two nights and it didn't fit over us very well. Everything else was fine, nothing fancy, but […] we were there for the skiing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worst Hotel Experience Ever!!!"
Where to start? Rudest customer service I ever dealt with. Ants in our room. Terrible parking lot. Semi ok breakfast. But most of all the rudest customer service I ever had to deal with. Plus hotels.com messed up my booking information so that was a problem itself.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not bad, would go again...."
My only complaint is that the beds were slightly uncomfortable. I was happy enough with my stay. I don't care about appearance and it was clean. The people were nice. The free breakfast was mainly coffee, Orange Juice, bagels, a waffle maker and Pastries. Location was great, we went to Pico in the morning and it was roughly 5 minutes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Many Problems With our Dog - Beds like Rocks"
Rooms a nice size, beds unfortunately like sleeping on a concrete slab. Cleaning staff very nice but not good at cleaning. The worst though, was the "policy" on dogs. We have brought our 25 pound spaniel to many hotels. She is crated, but she barks when left alone. Though there were other barking dogs in rooms near us, the managers made it out that […] our dog was the source of all the trouble and complaints from other guests. They called my home repeatedly when we were out for say, an hour, leaving messages. They threatened to charge us for any quest that left. They were very unpleasant. It was a fortunate thing, I guess, that my husband doesn't ski. But the result of the early trouble was that we could NEVER leave the room to go out, or risk the wrath of the managers. My husband was stuck in the room for the ENTIRE trip, only going out for breakfast when we could leave the dog in the car at the restaurant where we could see her. We ate every single meal in the room. His vacation was ruined and we wished we could have known, or we would have left the dog at home. WE responded to the trouble by never leaving the dog alone in the room after DAY TWO. I was HOPING that after all of this they wouldn't have had the nerve to CHARGE us the daily fee for the dog, but they DID . I normally never write reviews, but that was the last straw. "Typical roadside motel"
The front desk people (owners?) were not friendly at all. Not a single welcoming sign when we checked in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Place for a Killington Ski Trip"
This isn't a luxury hotel, but for the price and proximity to Killington Mountain it was perfect. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, rooms were nice and well laid out, it was much better than the reviews.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"no complaints at all!!"
the only thing bad i can say about the hotel is whoever is in charge of snow removal at the hotel is junk. if you have a 2 wheel drive car u will have trouble getting out of the place they don't salt the hill.. other then that for the price of a stay the place is awesome!!! great free breakfast, rooms are nice and updated nice mini kitchen, beds are […] kinda hard and the tv could be updated, free wifi..its right by the resort and all the store in killington but i think killington is prob the worst ski town i have ever been to. bed a little firm and the pillow were flat other than that everything was greatGenuine Hotels.com guest review
basic motel...not much of anything special...cheapest place in the area on big weekends so as long as you just need a room to crash in its fine. pretty close to restaurants and bars and its on the route for a shuttle in the am for the mountain and at night for the bars. continental breakfast was bland but had good waffles. worst thing was that you couldnt […] control the thermostat and they gave you actual keys and not key cards. Clean room, nice management and so close to the resort for a good price. Would stay again and recommendGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is nothing fancy, but location is wonderful. The room was clean and good size. There is no lodge to have a drink or hottub, but close to many restaurants and Killington ski K-1 mountain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close, clean place to sleep"
No frills, but clean place to get your sleep while at Killington.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great hotel close to killington"
Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Clean, spacious room & kitchenette. Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very negative Lady in desk or breakfast. Does not want to help. 3 nights without room resvice. Trash cans full. I had to go ask for clean towels. If this is the last hotel available, go somewhere else. I will. The worse service I have ever seen in Hotel of any kindGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hitting the slopes"
The driveway was slick to drive up had to wait for someone to put down sand for traction. The guy at the front desk was great and very helpful. The lady behind the desk wasn't, in fact she was rather B*tchy, poor attitude and acting like she was doing you a favor by talking to you. I'd still stay there again, rooms weren't bad and my college age kids […] could still enjoy the night life. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for price"
This is a very clean motel! It's just a motel, no bells & whistles, but clean & ideally located! Usually best priced, but there are 1-2 others places that are cozier & equally price just not as close. All in all a good place. They should provide paper towels in kitchen area and stirrers or plastic utensils for on-room coffee station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
great price for the location. Breakfast if forgettable but everything else was pretty good. Rooms are newly redoneGenuine Hotels.com guest review
hotel itself isn't anything to write home about. if you made your reservation for 2 people and actually showed up with more, make sure they wait in the car while you check in because they will charge you for extras. room had heated floors which was nice. walls are paper thin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything about this hotel is not true. The staff is unpleasant, the rooms dingy and old and smelled bad. The breakfast offering was bad and the food tasted old. I would never stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel - close to the slopes"
This was a nice and well maintained Hotel only 3.5 miles from the slopes and a mile away from good restaurants. The pillows need to be replaced and the steep driveway needed to be salted. Other than that I give it 4.5 stars.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall the hotel was very nice, and clean. The manager was easy to work with when we requested to stay another night. The room was exactly what we were looking for and within our price range. The only downfall was we used the do not disturb sign and the house keeper still knocked and opened the door the next morning. Other than that I would definitely […] recommend this hotel. "Good cheap spot close to skiing"
Not the Rtiz, but good value for the money, right on beginning part of the access road. Parking can be crowded and sometimes loud with party-goers, but good quick cheap spot to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Killington Ski Area"
Room was very clean and was nice to have a fridge, microwave and two sinks. It was great to have the shower area and toilet separated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great ski hotel"
Very clean room with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water, but if your one of those people that wants to keep the door open and room at 75 this is not the place! No tempeture controls in room on thermostat. Will returnGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel for short stay at Killington"
Hotel was clean, nice and cheap. Very close to Killington which is what matters.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean but quie noisyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will not go back"
This is a very basic motel. My biggest concern was the thermostat control. You can NOT change your room temperature. The owner has the control and the temperature was set low. Our room was cold at night. No laundry facility. Poor breakfast and undermotivated staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"2 night stay with our little dog"
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Late check in was no problem. We also had our little dog with us which was no problem. The rooms were mostly clean and staff friendly. The walls seemed to be rather thin and sound travels easily. You can hear people in their rooms. I was afraid to wake up from that but was pleasently surprised that I did not... Beds […] are comfy and big. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Great place to stay at a great price point. Always clean. Always quiet. Waters always hot. Pets allowed also a huge plus.Genuine Expedia guest review
Rooms are clean, location is great, rates were good. Hotels.com got us a half price rate over Thanksgiving weekend. We stayed Monday and Tuesday, do not expect much breakfast during week.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"decent , affordable."
good place - but breakfast could improve nutritionally. I brought my own (but nice there was a fridge so I could). noisy next door roomers both visits, but was addressed.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good value, infrastructure kind of run down, but clean and everything was in working order. I'd recommend it as a much better value than the fancy schmancy Grand Hotel where most professional events are held - it's just 5 minutes down the road and way cheaper!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great for the price. Good ski location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great little place."
It's nice and tucked back from the road - making it nice and quiet. The room was very spacious and clean - perfect for drying out all my snowboarding gear. Warm showers. Couch in the room. For the price - it's definitely on the nicer side. I would stay here again for sure - in fact I've already booked another stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worth the value"
I was traveling around New England with no set agenda. I happened to be in the Rutland area this night and needed affordable accommodations. Despite the extra 15 mins or so outside of town I found the hotel to be a good value. Basic, clean, and comfy. If you were there to ski this would be ideal, especially if you're just looking to sleep between epic […] snow days. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Beds are uncomfortable.....location is good for skiers right on Killington road....Rooms are spacious with bathroom and Kitchenette area...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was supposed to stay in a room with a king sized bed, but it was on the third floor and there was no elevator. They downgraded me to the second floor with two twin beds. Good thing there were too bed because the mattresses were so old I had to switch beds. The beds were also a little dirty. Issues: No elevator, old mattresses, tiny continental breakfast, […] no bathtub, light buzzed and no temp control. Cool things:Tiny kitchen-fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker, lots of restaurants close by. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is very old and run down. Our room smelled bad and we were so disgusted that we left after about 10 min and ate the cost. First time I have ever left a hotel in disgust and I travel a lot.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Parking - Breakfast - Elevator"
The parking is at a premium...if the hotel is full, this could be a major problem. The breakfast was extremely basic, but not that it was a surprise based on the price The casing for the light in the bathroom/vanity area was all rusted, could do with a coat of paint. No elevator - while not a problem for us...it could be an issue for others if someone […] did not check the information thoroughly and just assumed there would be an elevator Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We felt conflicted about our stay. We dealt with one male employee who was very pleasant, understanding, helpful and accommodating. We had one issue that he remedied quickly and professionally. On the other hand, we dealt with a female employee there that uttered 4 words to us during the entire checking in process and greeted us by slamming a registration […] form onto the countertop with a frown. Our room was nicely sized and had a decent kitchenette and bathroom space. The hotel had several nice mountain views. However, our linens were dirty (stray hair, make-up and stains) and our bed was poorly made. When we spoke with male employee about this issue, he seemed sincerely upset that this was the case and fixed this issue immediately. Breakfast was disappointing containing stale bagels (without cream cheese,) raisin bran and fruit loops. They did have a make-your-own waffle unit but the area was so crowded, we elected to pass. Check-in and out was fairly efficient and quick. All in all, we were conflicted with our stay and am not sure if we'd visit this place again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
