"Clean, comfortable and convenient"
The hotel was conveniently located near the highway and the front desk staff were very hospitable. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. I would definitely return if I were to ever be traveling this road again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to shopping and ferry!"
We come down every year to shop at the outlet malls so although this is just a little north of Burlington it worked out grea and it was cheaper than the other two chains in the area (Hilton/HI)! Went to Bob's burgers and brews which was actually good but the breakfast was nothing special. Overall would stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Booking trough Hotel.com and prepaying saved us us about 12%. Thanks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location to "Ride to Conquer Cancer""
Stay was great, nice to be able to wash and dry our clothes. Very wet and rainy for our "Ride to Conquer Cancer". One thing if I could comment on need a shuttle bus.....When I phoned in September I was told there was one. I called a 1-800 number last year to book....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good location for an overnight stay"
We were returning to Vancouver from Orcas Island and wanted to spend some time enjoying the Tulip Festival in Skagit County. Booking an overnight stay at this hotel was perfect. This meant we could extend our time at the tulip farms, which we enjoyed very much.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bring earplugs if you really want to stay here!"
08/19/14 MauiLoversCalifornia California
Although the overall hotel experience was fine (good employees, service, facility, room, beds, etc.) like all Marriott properties, the location of this hotel is HORRIBLE due to its proximity to Interstate 5!! Whoever made the brilliant decision to buy this property and then to locate a hotel where 100% of the rooms will face a major freeway without installing soundproof windows is either an idiot, or cheap. If it weren't for the fact that we always travel with earplugs, we would have immediately checked out and found another hotel once we heard the noise from our room. Still was disturbing, along with the flashing green light from the smoke alarm that the desk clerk recommended we cover with a towel (really!?), but we'd have gotten zero sleep without the earplugs. BTW, even though no other rooms were available, it wouldn't have mattered since all rooms face the freeway, it's just a choice of if you want to hear northbound trucks or southbound trucks the entire night. Same hotel and staff in a different location would probably rate a 4, so gave it a 3 because the freeway noise was the main negative issue, otherwise it's a good value.
"A bit noisy"
08/16/14 sidneymom Victoria, B.C.
Situated north of Burlington between the I5 and the train tracks. Ear plugs included in the night side table. One has to expect some noise when staying here. Similar to the Hampton Inn. Breakfast included and is decent. Rooms spacious and clean. There is a restaurant across the parking lot that offers pub like fare. Fast food adjacent if so inclined
"Good value but out of the way location"
08/14/14 Snowfamily4 Victoria, Canada
This hotel is a good value for the price with good amenities within the hotel. The pool is nicely maintained and the fitness room, although small is adequate. The breakfast was average for an included breakfast and there were enough choices for most people. The room was small with two beds and an in room fridge. The hotel is quiet and in an out of the way location - a car is necessary to get around. Good service from the staff when needed.
"Clean room, decent service"

This was my first trip to the Pacific Northwest, we were there for business at one of the local boat builders. The rooms were ready, the staff was okay, nothing stellar but nothing to complain about. For a breakfast that is included it was pretty good, plenty of everything and what was supposed to be hot was hot. Parking was good and we couldn't hear I-5 in our room. We could hear the train but it's not like it was a surprise as it was within sight of the hotel. I would have no problem staying here again.
"Clean, quiet and modern"

This is the second time we stayed at this property and once again, very pleased with the property. The king size bed was a huge bonus- room was clean, modern and all around comfie. Highly recommend this property whether you're doing a shopping trip to seattle and or Burlington. Staff are friendly, helpful and all around very courteous.
"good place to stop if shopping between Seattle premium outlet and Bellis fair"
07/31/14 Campbell09 Vancouver, Canada
The location was great as it was in middle of Seattle Premium Outlet and Bellis Fair. This gave us some time to relax and recoup our energy in between shopping. It is also close to Walmart and the Burlington Outlet. The hotel was very clean. We stayed facing the parking lot. There is one or two trains at night but noise was not much of a problem as it wasn't for very long. Breakfast was average continental breakfast. The gym was small but has all the essential machines. Just wished they had weights. The pool temperature was nice and warm. We especially enjoyed the 24h free coffee, tea and coco. Nice touch.
"Great comfortable stay!"

Stopped early in the evening. Front staff very nice and helpful. Room was very clean, quiet and very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was also very good. Had dinner at the Bob's Burger and Brew next door and it was delicious.

Fairfield is usually the lower end of the food chain for Marriott so imagine my surprise at the amenities of this hotel. It was super clean, with a very comfortable bed, extremely quiet room even though right off the freeway, and excellent shower. The breakfast was fresh, with many choices, and well stocked. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Very pleased.
"Clean, quiet, and pleasant."
07/19/14 Joseph S Bellevue, Washington
Spent a Saturday night here after a motorcycle ride over the North Cascade Highway. Although close to freeway, Fairfield was quiet and restful. Unknown to us there are a couple of fast food type restaurants on same lot so next time we will not eat somewhere else before getting off bikes for the night. Very accommodating staff. Let us park outside front door under porte cochere to protect bikes. Great jumping off place to stay to explore North Cascades, La Connor, Bellingham or Mount Baker. We will return.

Love the hotel. It's super clean and very comfortable. Having the train tracks nearby is a bonus. Probably not for everybody but to me I loved it. Just off the freeway the location is great. Marriott's rock in my opinion.
